Arcane podfic, also by @ostensiblyarticulate, at the request of my pal and voiceteam teammate, ButterfliesInMyBrain https://archiveofourown.org/works/36107737
There was a "post the next section of a WIP" challenge during VoiceTeam so I finally updated "Any Order You'd Like" by @ostensiblyarticulate with the Entrapdak interstitial that @skypaday, Swankster, and I recorded together last August. I don't want to jinx it, but I'm hoping to record the next BFS section of the story this week.
I loved this Knitting (anthropomorphic) Yuletide fic so much, I asked for permission to pod it when it was still anonymous. And, thanks to VoiceTeam I was able to coordinate a multi-voice podfic. We had a lot of fun recording this.
Modern clickbait set in the world of Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell. I knew I had to podfic this the second I read it. The result is like a string of the ads sections on WtNV. I am pleased.
VoiceTeam Mystery Box 2021 just ended. I miss it already. Prepare to be spammed with all the podfic I made. Also, I'm currently at 49 works on AO3, gotta pick out something extra special for #50.....
I finally finished podficcing "Don't Go" (with an assist from the lovely @skypaday voicing Entrapta).
Listen to it on AO3:
[Podfic] Don't Go
Summary:
They stay that way for a long time, Catra’s face tucked into Adora’s shoulder, Adora gently cradling Catra’s head. Adora is careful not to hug Catra too hard or make her feel restrained, anticipating the moment that Catra will start to pull away — but Catra doesn’t. She hangs on so tightly it hurts, her claws digging through Adora’s jacket and into her back, latching into her like she did when she was a kitten and didn’t know how much her claws could hurt. Adora tries not to wince, tries not to move a single muscle, worried that if she does the spell will break and Catra will struggle away, appalled at having shown weakness. But Catra doesn’t let go. And so neither does Adora.
So, I'm podding a fic those of you in SPOP fandom may have heard of :)
It wasn't intentional, but feels like a good choice for my 20th SPOP podfic.
This is the first half of the story, the Adora POV. I'll be posting the second half, with an assist from @skypaday as Entrapta, in about a week.

Part 2 of the podfic of "Any Order You'd Like" by ForsythiaRising (aka @ostensiblyarticulate) is up! This section is all me talking to myself, but Superkat (@skypaday) and Swankster will make their glorious debuts in Part 3 and I CANNOT WAIT for you to hear them!
[Podfic] Any Order You'd Like
Fandom: She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (2018)
Relationships: Adora/Catra (She-Ra), Adora & Bow & Catra & Glimmer (She-Ra), Bow & Catra (She-Ra), Adora & Glimmer (She-Ra), Catra & Glimmer (She-Ra), Bow/Glimmer (She-Ra)
Summary:
Adora and Glimmer struggle with space, Bow and Catra discuss repairs, and everyone plays musical chairs (minus the music, plus control issues).
Or: They’re intergalactic travelers. Standard road trip problems ensue.
Or: The captain’s chair, nine ways.
You can literally make anything and anyone problematic if you try hard enough seriously give me people and things and I’ll make them all “problematic” right now.
I vowed to podfic all of "The Squad Goes Intergalactic" by Forsythia Rising (aka @ostensiblyarticulate) and, nearly a year after I podded Learning Curve, I've finally, FINALLY posted Part 1 of "Any Order You'd Like." What's more, I've brought some friends along to make it a multi-voice project! 3000 words down, 23,000 to go
