I hope your heart feels less overwhelmed tonight. That your thoughts can be slowed down from their usual intense speed, that your muscles can relax. That your sheets, blankets, pillow, mattress and the pajamas or clothes you are wearing feel smooth, comfortable, warm, and cozy. Cuddle with a plushie if you want to, there is no shame in being an adult and enjoying plushies. They are comforting and cute.

Take a cup of tea to make you relax, if you need one. Put some lotion that makes you smell good. Smells like lavender have been proven to help soothe anxiety, time to rest your overactive mind.

Snuggle in bed tonight, and I hope no nightmares come your way, and that you are able to release what happened this day without wondering about what will come tomorrow.

This is your time now. This is your time to relax, to sleep, to recover your tired body. Feel your muscles, begin with the ones on your feet, relaxing them, and work it up through all your body. Allow yourself to be aware of your relaxation. Enjoy the warmth, the muscles getting less and less tense.

Let your body be. Let you mind be. Pay attention to nothing but the relaxing feeling you have while laying down in bed. Enjoy just being here, alive and cozy. I hope your dreams are lovely, and you wake up feeling rested and fresher.

Does this work with all types of ants is my question?

Advice nobody ever asks for but every time I tell someone they find it extremely useful:

If you want to get rid of ants in your house mix a cup of icing sugar and a cup of potato starch 50/50 (dry, no water) and spread it near the holes where the ants get into your house. They won’t be able to separate the sugar and starch and will feed their larvae with the mixture. The starch will kill the larvae. So you won’t see results right away but if you keep it up you’ll get rid of them over a few weeks. I make a batch every summer to combat ants in my kitchen.

Because the mixture is non-toxic to humans and other mammals it’s perfect if you have children or pets. God knows my dogs eat anything on the floor and this way my only worry is they might get cavities if they get into my pest control powder.
