Percy has been kicked out of every school he's ever attended and told he was stupid his whole life by teachers and classmates, he prefaces every perfectly reasonable question with "Can I ask a dumb question" because he's conditioned to think every question he has is going to be stupid. Something warms my heart about his relationship with Annabeth rapidly going from "Can I ask a dumb question?" "It's like you need me to make fun of you." to him asking "If I tell you something do you promise not to make fun of me" and Annabeth responding with a "dude" and an are-you-kidding-me face because it took her two days to realize that he's actually really intelligent despite what he may think, and it's honestly insulting that he thinks she would laugh if he told her something serious.

Why is Supernatural trending?

Taylor Swift's team has responded to a controversial New York Times op-ed which questioned her sexuality.

Her team responded to CNN clarifying that she is heterosexual, and criticising the article for invasion of privacy amongst other things (see here). This has led to wider discussion on Twitter/X on the way sexuality is debated in the media.

Because Taylor Swift has effectively 'come out as straight', this situation has drawn comparisons with Supernatural actor Misha Collins having to apologise for implying he was bisexual in 2022 (see here). Misha Collins, Taylor Swift, and Supernatural appearing as related tags has prompted confusion amongst those who weren't aware of the situation, as well as a number of jokes and memes.
