◾Most dystopian story of 2024 so far:
A US prisoner doing slave labour for 13 cents an hour donates his $17.74 paycheck to help Gaza while the government that uses him as slave labour sends billions to Israel.

netizens are desensitising gruesome things that are taking place in Palestine.
even the internet’s reaction to graphic things such as - pictures of injured children, civilians stuck under rubble, dead bodies of families in their destroyed homes etc. is beyond underwhelming.
DO NOT NORMALISE GENOCIDE.
BREAK THE STIGMA.

‘I wish for death’ - Twelve-year-old Alma says. She fled bombing and shelling twice before the third place they sheltered was bombed, She was rescued from the rubble only to find out both her parents and all four of her siblings had been killed. She found her 18-month-old brother in an unimaginable state. Her little brother was beheaded from the rubble after the IOF massacred them.

Translation: "Hello guys. how are you? Today we are at Gaza's largest refugee camp located in Rafah, south of the strip. A huge number of refugees fleeing death, fear and destruction. They took refuge here, they were told it is safe to be here, although it's a fact, there is NOWHERE SAFE in Gaza.. We hope war ends soon"

The importance of boycotting
Tumblr media
Keep this in mind for all boycotting. From doing it for Palestine to DR Congo to whoever else needs our support.
This is edited & updated thanks to @walks-the-ages
ID: A video by Mohamed Alnaas, from Libya, showing the chain of everyday products funding a genocide.
A young man with brown skin is looking into a display cooler of Pepsi cola, before grabbing one out of the fridge and approaching the cashier, another young man with brown skin. "How Much is this?" He asks, and the cashier responds "Two dinars".
The camera view splits into 16 grids, showing various hands as a chorus of voices say "Here you go," passing over that two dinars, which quickly is multiplied by the number of people who purchase these pepsi products every day.
The cashier puts the bills into his till and begins counting a wad of cash from the till as the camera zooms through the store to show a Pepsi delivery truck -- the camera zooms in as the store owner passes a wad of cash over to the delivery driver, then we see a man in a building as he is counting and sorting the bills, which flash by the screen as they transition into $100 demonimation American Dollars, stacks and stacks of them as an entire briefcase is filled in a small white office , showing that same business man as he brings the suitcase full of thousands and millions worth of American dollars to a military contractor.
The scene changes again, until we are in a dimly lit warehouse, where a man is presneting the suitcase full of cash to his superior, who gives a thumbs up to a worksman, who puts on welding goggles and does a montague of hammering, cutting, welding, and painting, until he proudly presents a missile to his superior, nestled in a case of straw.
"Perfect!" the superior exclaims.
The scene changes again, to show a fighter jet flying at high speed through a rainstorm, lit from beneath by glowing lights on the ground. The Camera zooms into show the pilot in the cockpit, as their superior officer questions "Captain, do you have eyes on the target?"
The pilot is expressionless as they respond "Affirmative. I have visuals" while lightning flashes around them. The Pilot leans over to look down at the ground, where a young girl is running playfully while her father follows behind her. "Sir, are you sure about the coordinates? I'm seeing civilians nearby" The pilot narrates.
The girl is looking up into the storm, as the pilot's superior orders "Do it!"
Suddenly, we are in the clouds as the bomb is dropping through the air, lighting flashing all around as the storm clouds part to reveal a city in the midst of being bombed. The bomb we are following drops -- and the camera zooms into the little girl's eyes before going black.
there is a pause, the screen black, before we are zoomed out again, seeing the girl's innocent expression as she looks skyward at the bomb about to drop on her, with her father crouched at her side, cradling her in his arms; he knows what is about to happen to them. Heatwaves from the fires waver across the screen in a red glow as we zoom in on the girl's face as her eyes are lit by the light of the fires ; the camera moves back again, and we see the girl, with her father crouched with her in his arms, the bomb inches away from them as the sky and earth turn red hot like fire as it moves in slow motion, before making contact in a flash of light.
the word "boycott" hovers into view, shaking unsteadily. end ID
also an ID for the tweet:
[ID: A tweet from Palestine Online @OnlinePalEng , that reads "A young Libyan Mohamed Alnaas produced a boycott video delivering a clear message, urging people to boycott products that support israeli apartheid" with a screenshot from the video of the girl looking up into the sky, posted 5:36am 3/2/24 with 2.4 million views. Don't forget about the Palestinians.
Don't forget about them now.
Don't forget about them tomorrow.
Don't forget about them in a week from now.
Don't forget about them in a month.
Don't forget them next year.
Don't forget them in 5 years.
When the history books start to update, don't let them put lies in there.
When documentaries come out, boycott the ones who call this a victory for Israel.
When books release talking about soldier's personal experiences with Palestine, remember the victims. Remember the truth.
Don't forget about what we've seen.
Don't forget about what we've heard.
Don't let them tell lies about Palestine.
Don't forget about the Palestinians when the world tries to make this go away.
