Hello, I recently found your gargoyle au artwork and it is all really amazing. I have a few questions about the character Aoyama. Since Aoyama became a gargoyle does he experience stone sleep? Also, if he does turn to stone in the daytime, would the first time have been scary or intense for him.

To put it simply:

Yes, he does. Aoyama was completely changed at a genetic level, so he's a gargoyle in EVERY way, including the stone sleep. Whilst his parents knew about it and that he'd go through it, all the research in the world doesn't prepare you for the actual experience. But on the other hand, stone sleep isn't a huge or drawn-out ordeal?? It's a long, enforced uninterrupted sleep and the most alarming part to a young Aoyama was probably waking up to stone dust and crumbs all over the place, and the fading stiffness after so many hours of being pure stone. Sure, he misses the sun and the daylight, but at least he's never had to deal with his nightmares in stone sleep...

my Aizawa fam OCs needed a revamp and here it finally is!!

Shota is the black sheep of the Aizawa fam, who are absolute sunshine people who live up in Hokkaido running their hobby farm. Shota never talks about them, and let his friends and others come to their own conclusions about his home life without bothering to correct them. The news only got out when Shota took Eri and Shinsho to meet their grandparents on one of his annual trips north and he hasn’t known peace since.

Mai Aizawa, lovingly known as Maizawa to everyone she befriends, is just as snarky, dry and sarcastic as her baby brother, but is a total extrovert who lives to liven up the party. Her quirk, Tactile Float, is a weak telekinesis that only effects things she’s touched in the last 30 seconds; she tried throughout childhood to train her power into something stronger, but it never developed much. She’s the family kid that went to college and university for an Economics degree, and nowadays is running the business side of her parents’ farm. The best way to describe her and Shota’s relationship is: Alexis and David from Schitt’s Creek lmao

Dr. Shoko Aizawa is Mai and Shota’s mother, despite her dead eyes and tired manner, is an upbeat and hopeful woman who never hesitates to show love and compassion to those around her. However, she is the iron spine of the Aizawa family and will absolutely cut a bitch who threatens her livestock and/or children. Shoko is also an accomplished Quirk counsellor, specialist and therapist who deals in children and teens with unique and 'dangerous' quirks; this work sometimes takes her all over Japan to lend her expertise to outlier cases, but these days she's formally retired on her farm. Her quirk is Null & Void, which can nullify someone else’s quirk through skin contact (and is cancelled through a second touch, ala Pushing Daisies rules). As a child, she was horrendously bullied for ‘stealing’ others’ quirks and others refused to let her touch them for years; when she saw that her son was going through similar treatment after his quirk manifested, she vowed to drown him in love and support so that he’d never feel the way she once did.

Noboru Aizawa is Mai and Shota’s father, the quieter of the pair, but the main agent of chaos. He’s extremely tactile and will use any excuse he can to hug someone, so it’s lucky that his hugs are some of the best out there. He’s a curious sort who loves to learn and teach others, as well as lend a helping hand where he can. Noboru made a small fortune in real estate early in their marriage, allowing his family to grow in comfort and afford various luxuries, though most of the money went towards developing their Hokkaido farm for many years. His quirk, Look Up, can make anything he looks at float a few inches (or more if he concentrates), and his eyes glow when it’s activated. This side effect of his quirk has always made him self-conscious about using it, as it can be incredibly creepy to other people, but raising his kids to be positive about their quirks has boosted his own self-esteem too. Side-note: his farmer’s tan is permanent and awful.

Shoko and Noboru met while studying at college and became fast friends, only dating after a deep and frank discussion about their goals and views for the future. They married after graduation and moved to Musutafu to raise their new family, though they made the move to Hokkaido during Shota’s second year at U.A, when Oboro died. They attempted to convince him to move with them, but he refused and stayed in the city in his own place in order to achieve his goals of becoming a hero. Shoko and Noboru are a prime example of a married couple that have never left the Honeymoon Phase and have no plans to ever do so, despite this disgusting their kids to no end.

Together since birth, Fumikage insists that he and the gargoyle beast Dark Shadow are twins from the same egg. Hardly anyone believes him but since his hatching wasn't overly observed, no one can dispute this but they still joke that 1-B's Shihai is Fumikage's actual twin instead.
