As of July 21st, 2023, I will no longer be updating this blog.

I saw Twice in-person finally earlier this month, and honestly it was one of the best day/night of my life. But while I thought it might reignite my desire to write, it actually had the opposite effect - it was almost like the end of a journey, a capstone of sorts.

I still love writing, always will - but I think I've done all I've wanted to do in this community. There are better writers out there that have carried on the torch, and I suggest that everyone go out and immerse yourselves in the wealth of talent out there. Or if you have been thinking of writing yourself, go do it! I started writing on a whim in 2016 thinking no one would ever read the filth I put out. I am so thankful to have taken the plunge, and hopefully you will too.

I want to thank all the friends I've made on this blog and elsewhere in the community - you all know who you are, and I'll remember my time with you fondly.

Above all, I want to thank the readers, no matter how much of my work you read, for letting it be a part of your life. I have always been and always will be in awe at the idea that someone out there might enjoy my writing.

Do you watch the Guardians of the Galaxy movies? What’s your favorite track from the awesome mixes? And if you had to add one K-pop song into the soundtrack, what song would it be?

I'm a big fan of the Guardians movies, although I haven't seen the last one. Haven't had much drive to watch movies these days - the last one I saw in theatres was probably Top Gun Maverick, which reignited my desire to one day become a fighter pilot conducting pre-emptive strikes on the nuclear programs of foreign countries which are definitely not any existing real-world nuclear power but also I'd hopefully be in an F-35 and not a Hornet because the F-35 is the not hotness and the Hornet is old and busted.

I would definitely still drive a Tomcat, though.

Tangent over - I would add Cheer Up by Twice, not just because Twice is ult, but because I think the writers would find a hilarious time/place to slot that song in.

The unforgiving cold of the Canadian winter surrounding them did little to smother the fire of pain in their hearts.

"You were the chosen one!" Locke screams, his voice hoarse with emotion and pain - the kind of pain that can only come from somewhere deep within the soul. "It was said that you would write Seven Pt. 2, not destroy it!"

He watches, anguished, as his old friend drags himself forward on his one remaining arm. In the fallen man's eyes there are hints of sadness amidst the pain - perhaps, in some small corner of his dark heart, the old writer's words have reached what remained of the man he once was. He looks up at Locke with fading eyes, but is met only with another reminder of how he had failed.

"Bring balance to the Sana thirst, not leave it unfulfilled!"

Locke turns and picks up his former friend's fallen keyboard. Once a tool that had brought so much joy to himself and to others - but now it is dark, dirty, forever stained with the transgressions of its owner. It is heavier than he expected, as though it carried in its very keycaps and switches the anger and ill intent of the man that once wielded it.

He turns to spare his old friend one last glance. He hopes to find understanding, perhaps regret. He finds only spite.

"I will never publish it!"

"I follow you on tumblr," Locke says, the words difficult to speak, the very syllables tasing like ash in his mouth even as they leave his lips. "And you were on my friends list on discord."

Locke turns and leaves, the duel over and victory his - but even though he can hear the last, dying cries of his old friend as the cold Canadian winter claims him, in his heart he knows that neither of them could truly lay claim to victory.

Any possibilities of Seven pt.2?
