This is one of my favorite gotham shots because it says a lot about Edward as a character. He’s in Arkham Asylum, he found a way out, it’s RIGHT behind him, the exit sign is red and glowing, no one is noticing him doing this, but what does he do? He looks way from the exit because there is a riddle on the other side of the hall.

We love Jim but he was a basic bitch with morals. He spent the entire show trying to prevent himself from losing his own morality. Most of us watched the show for the unhinged shit that the villians did.

Os and Ed stole the show.

It's a funky little show with funky little villians living their best and confusing life.

in my humble opinion television peaked with the release of Gotham (2014). we are blessed with five seasons of content which makes no sense when you actually stop and think about it. ed nygma is so smart that he manages to pin multiple murders on jim gordon but gets arrested because he trips and falls on a log. he dates two women who look exactly the same and no explanation for that is ever given. bruce wayne has a clone for no reason at all. they couldn’t get the rights to the joker so they just had multiple joker OCs played by the same dude who they killed off and resurrected numerous times. they aged up poison ivy two separate times with increasingly faulty reasoning each time, but kept the scarecrow as a kid in comparison to all the other rogues. everyone is gay. it got canceled and renewed again numerous times. there will never be another television show which is as good as Gotham (2014) and i will die by that.

season 1 riddlegordon is like pure fluff, ed adores jim and how he's actually nice to him and jim literally thinks ed can do no wrong.
