Damn, Longclaw took on a whole-ass tribe while being wounded. If she was alive then Robotnik wouldn't stand a chance against her. He would be a speck to her. Maybe that's why the writers killed her off in the first 5 minutes of the first movie. She was way too powerful to live!🤣

{ Well, there’s quite a difference given that the Echidna tribes were using bow and arrows, while Robotnik uses machines. It’s most likely she isn’t used to that kind of technology, but I am certainly up for believing she would give him a run for his money. }

I have a theory that when Longclaw died she became one with the Chaos Force due to being one of the Guardians of the master Emerald and as a result still watches over Sonic. She is at peace and would be super proud of Sonic whooping Robotnik's butt and saving the planet from disaster!

I see everyone talking about Longclaw and missing the fact that she literally has the backstory of Chaos now — the peaceful Master of the Master Emerald is attacked by the Echidna Clan led by Pachacamac specifically, in the aftermath of which they turn insane and seek to destroy the world, serving as the first major non-Eggman antagonist of the series before ultimately being calmed by Sonic at the end of Sonic Adventure — Knuckles was the Last of the Echidnas following that fight, indicating Longclaw managed to kill them all here too — her design is one that looks very sinister if you look at it again, minus the voice. Like Pachacamac specifically, the literal same Echidna.
