help me not move back in with my family :’)

hi, i’m conny!! tl;dr i need help with getting money for rent, i can explain any part of my situation in dms but i’d rather not post the particularly personal bits publicly yknow o_o

basically, i’m a disabled, mentally ill qtpoc who has just moved out of a… weird-in-a-bad-way home situation to go to community college so i can try to make a better life for myself! my family is very conditional with their support, and they hated the idea of me moving out, so now i’m essentially paying for everything on my own lawl.

my big problem is that even though my parents aren’t helping me pay for school, i still am considered a dependent student by f..afsa, which majorly messed with the amount of loans i was able to receive. since the community college i’m attending doesn’t have housing on-campus, i moved into an apartment with a friend. aka, i don’t have the money right now to make rent ($439.00 per month per person, not including utilities)

my roomie is super cool and understanding, but he definitely can’t shoulder the entire rent (about $880.00 not including utilities) by himself

i have applied almost everywhere in the city; i’ve been to two interviews already. the businesses in town are tired of me asking about the status of my application lol. i’m sure everyone is aware how frustrating it is trying to get a job right now.

i’ve also called my bank to see if i could take out a personal loan, on top of my student loans, but the minimum amount that i could take out is $2,500.00 and i don’t have the means to begin repaying that much money starting in october.

i’m thinking about applying for disability benefits for the future, but anyone who is disabled in the united states knows how much of a pain that whole process is.

i am running out of options, and rent will be considered late on 5 september 2020, which will result in an additional $75.00 late fee on top of rent. i hate having to ask for money, but i’m not sure what else i can do besides e-beg :( cashapp: atlassix paypal: atlassix
