I love how the anatomical structure suits him, like the hands that are large but thin, respecting the rest of the body. His tail bothers me a little since his "messy" fur should be on the rest of the structure more, as well, would be standing upright? I mean, he looks pretty happy then...BUT IT'S OKAY!!!!! Thinking about Barbatos today. He is adored by his sweet cakes and delicious teas. They're a delicacy so good, so well done that he gained the Best Chief in the Three Worlds tittle. Because he is talented in baking and cooking. He is talented, skilled in many things. Sewing, dancing, doing make-up, skating.

For someone always on the spotlight he is not understood. He is a shadow, Diavolo's shadow, because he is first and foremost a butler, Diavolo's butler, he never is just Barbatos, time lord Barbatos, a timeless being who was always there, without a childhood, without closer friends, without family, he was Barbatos, the butler, doing everything that has to be done to ensure his lord can reign peacefully. And he is so good in this too, so good working for Diavolo, the same Diavolo he basically raised to be this fine demon. Seeing him rule is so satisfying to see.

It's tiresome but satisfying when all the paperwork is done, when every meeting ends and they can go home. It's satisfying when things begin to change to fit Diavolo's dream, demons no longer attacking humans, humans no longer afraid, angels and demons being friends.

For Diavolo, Barbatos is capable of eliminating every obstacle that appears in his path. His secret chamber is always filled with crimson liquid by his opponents, their screams silenced with a snap of his fingers. His boy will be king someday and he shall see to it, ensuring that nothing harms him. He is Diavolo's shadow after all. He is practically his father.

And a father protect his kid.

But for you he is more than a shadow and a butler, he is your lover. Tired, exhausted Barbatos who loves to be held by you, who loves to receives your soft kisses and for your hands to massage his tense shoulders. He work even harder to ensure that a future in Devildom could be safer for you. Someday he wants to wed you and call you his, his spouse, his beloved. He even knows what type of ring he wants to get you.

He just wanted time to pass faster. That future is so close. So close but so far. But at least he's okay with it because he has you by his side.
