What have you done to me? You have disturbed my peace of mind once again by coming into my life out of the blue, just as you did five years ago. I was doing just fine without you. I finally managed to stop looking at your pictures everyday, stopped hoping you would message me again, started moving on in life with out you. As if you sensed it, you came rushing back to remind me you're still here. Drowning me in sweet memories and flooding me with dopamine. Who am I to talk though, I would be lying if I said I didn't miss you but how can I say otherwise. You are my kryptonite. The one person who can make me fall to me knees and break every barrier I have ever made.

I would rather be by myself than be in a relationship that wasn't meant for me.
I'd rather feel alone than feel like I'm lonely with someone else.
I'd rather focus on my own self growth than be with someone who won't allow me to grow.
I won't settle for less than what I deserve.

Aunty I know you're not here anymore. I do miss you very very much. I just off the phone with a lady at work and she reminded me so much of you. She called me sweetie pie every 3 minutes just like you used to call me sugar every 3 minutes. I miss you. I miss you so much and wanted to see you for the last time before you left us. I wanted to show you how big my son's gotten and thank you for all the little antiques you've given me growing up. I still have the bunny rabbit you gave me when I was a little girl. I kept telling myself I'd go visit you soon and never got to because life just kept getting in the way. I know you understand but it's eating me up that I didn't get to say goodbye and I know at times you've must've felt lonely and I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't visit sooner. I love you Aunty
