I’m just happy that Jacob is gonna be stickin’ around after s2. They were originally gonna let him go after s2 which is stupid. If that were to happen, the only fans that be left would be white women/POC that follow them. Lmao, what if Jacob were to just say I’m done after s2…you think would tank without Jam Reiderson?? Most of these white fans only see Louis as an extension of Loustat and not individually.

what's the source for letting him go after S2?? idk about tanking, it's hard to say. white fandom has been trying to get rid of black ppl since before the show was airing. they'd probably start shipping lestat / sam with whatever other white guy was close enough and be fine about it. they'd make some canon compliant excuse for it, even tho rn they've gone so hard on how loustat is end game. they're always moving the goal post when it comes to protecting the white fav. nicki is right there upcoming. everyone else would leave tho.

i melt whenever i read about jam 😭 like they adore one another so much that even the writers are like, yeah it wasnt the same for them this season. i get it was exciting to film new material and doing stuff with the other actors. but when you read all this, and see pics and video of them you get the feeling that they truly do want to be on set with each other

Of course they want to be on set together. They aren’t faking when they go for hours-long walks in NOLA or text each other every day or walk along the San Diego beach together or walk along the Seine together or go to the theater or go to sticker shops or go to cafes or go to clubs or go to Universal Studios or go to dessert shops or come to set on their days off just to be there for the other or go sit on their bench together and just talk or give each other long hugs goodbye or move their seats closer together prior to an interview cause they’re specially too far apart or show visible anxiety at events when the other isn’t there or stare at each other continuously during interviews and panels….

….what was I talking about again? 🥰

They made it a vastly different story when they wrote Lestat as a malicious domestic abuser to Louis & slave master who hated Claudia. It’s been obvious they do not care if their exaggerated melodrama added for shits n giggles changes the story or fucks up a character. Sam is the only one with the initiative to express his dissatisfaction b/c he knows Lestat unlike these half ass writers. They made Lestat into a caricature in season 1 & it ruined Loustat. Season 2 was supposed to fix it but that is not happening based on the nature of his comment. The audience needed the truth. Sam talking about Anne never telling readers the truth says all we need to know. He is warning us. We are not getting the truth & the Lestat slander will continue.

See, I don’t know why it’s so hard for the audience to get the POVs stuff. I don’t.

The tale breaks at the end of s1, why is it so hard to take a mental step back and think?!

What we saw was not the truth. Not the whole of it, and that will be continued in s2.

And s3 I bet.

Armand spelled it out for the audience, too: You‘ve only heard half the story.

The writers are playwrights. The show will unfold over several seasons. They dig into gaslighting, manipulation and memory. The promotion and posters speak a very clear language.

Let‘s wait to judge it all (as a whole) when it’s unfolded, shall we?!
