I really think everyone needs to truly internalize this:
Fictional characters are objects.
They are not people. You cannot "objectify" them, because they have no personhood to be deprived of. They have no humanity to be erased. You cannot "disrespect" them, because they are not real.

Four and a half years. That’s how long you’ve been dating your current boyfriend, Aaron Lawrence. You met him during your senior year in college, and it was an instant connection. The two of you had a class together, and he’d asked you for help on an assignment. You happily, albeit anxiously, accepted.
Eventually, help with an assignment turned into study dates. Study dates became coffee dates, which turned into dinner and movie dates, and before you know it, six months had gone by and the two of you were officially together.
It started out nice. He was charming, sweet, funny. You thought he had everything you wanted in a guy. You were wrong. His charm turned into jealousy. His sweetness turned into a short temper. His sense of humor turned into insults. In the blink of an eye, you found yourself isolated. No longer were you allowed to contact or spend time with friends or family without his permission, without him hovering over you, watching your every move.
A little over a year after graduating college, you found yourself working as an assistant for Marvel, mainly for the producers and occasionally the actors if they needed the extra help. Aaron didn’t like that. His jealousy often got the better of him, convincing him you were cheating on him. He’d go through your phone constantly. He needed frequent reminders, updates, what have you that you’re working, not cheating on him. He needed pictures, phone calls, FaceTime sessions. It was endless.
Now, all these years later, you’ve grown accustomed to Aaron’s behavior. Calling, texting and FaceTiming constantly has become second nature. Feeling emotionally and mentally drained is to be expected.
You’ve become too tired to care.
The one thing that brings you any comfort is literature, and the study of languages. You’re a big fan of Shakespeare. You have been since middle school. His stories, his plays, everything you’ve read and/or seen of his sends a flurry of emotions through you! Emotions you haven’t felt in what seems like a lifetime. You don’t tell anyone of your little pleasure, embarrassment filling you at the thought of telling anyone. You’re currently one of the assistants of Tom Hiddleston, and you’re very much aware of his love for Shakespeare and other languages. He’ll occasionally get a handful of jokes thrown his way over it. But you’re not like him. You’d probably die from embarrassment should anyone find out. It’s ridiculous.
Tom was actually the one who got you interested in different languages. You’d never tell him that, but you can’t help but silently thank him for the added distraction from your rather unhappy living arrangement.
……….…….…
“Do you have anything coming up this weekend?” Tom asked, giving you a warm smile as he turned to face you. “I don’t have any scenes to shoot, so I’m free until Monday morning.”
“I, uh, I don’t know.” You almost cringe at the stammered response. “Aaron said he’s got a surprise for me, but he sometimes changes his mind last minute so it’s still up in the air.”
Tom’s smile falls just a little. He is very much aware of your boyfriend, and while he hasn’t told you anything, it’s obvious he doesn’t like Aaron.
“Well, if you find yourself in need of some company, don’t be afraid to call me, darling.”
You give a small smile of your own, nodding in response. While the offer is sweet, you’re certain you probably won’t. You don’t want to deal with Aaron’s temper.
You see Tom ready himself to say something, but you hear your name being called behind you. Turning, you see one of the other assistants motioning you to come over.
“I’m sorry Tom,” you sigh. “I’ll be right back.”
“Don’t worry about it,” he says, “I’ll see you after filming.”
You nod again and hurry over to the assistant.
“What is it?” you ask.
“It’s Aaron again.” Her voice is bitter. “He’s having a fit just outside of set. Security is trying to kick him out, but he’s trying to get in and see you.”
You pale. Oh God, did you miss one of your check-ins?
“Fuck,” you hiss. “I’ll deal with it, thank you for telling me.”
“Be careful,” she calls. “He’s extra pissy today.”
I’ll bet, you think bitterly.
“I will.”
....................
You hear his shouting before you see him. Insults, threats, challenges — whatever it takes for him to get his message across. He’s the big, tough guy, everyone else are a bunch of bitches who are beneath him. When Aaron’s gaze finds yours, his expression becomes more infuriated. Red in the face, blazing eyes, pushing against security’s grips on him, spittle coming out with every shouted response.
“You fucking bitch!” he screeches. “I knew you were cheating on me! You whore! Who the fuck is it, huh?! You dumb bitch!”
“Aaron, I was busy that doesn’t mean I’m cheating,” you state, trying to keep your voice calm. “Can we discuss this later tonight? Now isn’t the best time.”
“You’re a lying whore, you know that?” His expression has become wild, his eyes nearly bulging out of his head. “I’ve seen those guys in your phone. The ones you ‘work’ with. You’re such a lying bitch, and you’ll regret ever fucking with me.”
Yanking himself out of the guards’ hands, Aaron scowls at you before storming over to his car. After watching him slam the driver’s side door closed when he climbed in, you stand and watch him peel out, not before flipping you off before his dramatic exit.
Great.
....................
The rest of the day seemed to drag on forever. Word quickly spread of the altercation between you, Aaron and security. Some of the other actors and actresses tried approaching you on the subject, but you brushed it off. Some of the crew tried asking what the issue was about, but you decided to ignore it. You weren’t in the mood, nor was it any of their business.
By the end of the day, as you were getting yourself ready to go, you were stopped by Tom.
“Look, I’m really not in the mood,” you sigh.
“I understand,” he responds. “But maybe I can walk you to your car. It would make me feel better to know you get there safely.”
Running a hand through your hair, you nod, too exhausted to argue.
The whole way to your car, you feel Tom’s eyes study only to look away when you look at him.
“What?” you mutter. “What is it?”
“Nothing.”
“You’re lying. It’s very obvious Thomas.”
“What happened earlier...”
“Was nothing,” you finished stiffly. “It was nothing.”
“Except it wasn’t.”
“And how would you know?” You glare at him. “You were doing your scene, remember?”
“And you’ve told me enough about Aaron to have a good idea on him.” Tom’s voice was stern, and your jaw set, your lips pursing. “I don’t like him, Y/N. I really don’t.”
“I know.” Your voice is filled with venom. “I know you don’t like him. You think I do? He’s an asshole. But I can’t break up with him. I’ve... It’s not that easy.”
“You know I’m here for you,” Tom murmurs, his tone now soft. “I’ll always be here for you. I’m your friend Y/N, I want what’s best for you.”
“I know.” You can’t bring yourself to look at him. “Thank you.”
....................
You can’t say you’re surprised. You really can’t. Coming home to see Aaron with another woman? Hearing them loudly having sex as a big ‘fuck you’ to you? Not really surprising. You’ve had your suspicions that Aaron’s cheated in the past, but you never confronted the issue. You didn’t want a fight. But knowing with absolute certainty he’s screwing some unnamed woman? You honestly could care less.
All you do is grab your keys, phone and purse and leave your apartment. You call Tom and explain the situation, your voice eerily calm despite finding your now ex with another woman. Tom says he’ll come to you, despite your protests, and after giving your address he’s on his way, ready to pick you up within the hour.
As you wait, after hanging up, you realize how numb you feel. You feel so overwhelmingly numb, it’s baffling. Was it this coming from hearing Aaron with that woman? Or was it four and a half years of emotional and mental trauma finally manifesting itself into crippling numbness? Who the fuck knows? You sure as hell don’t.
Your phone vibrates and when you check, it’s a text from Aaron. You can’t help but look. He’s taunting you. He sent pics of himself and the woman, still naked and in bed. They seem to be enjoying themselves. They seem to be enjoying your misery.
Another vibration and it’s a text from Tom. You quickly check, and it’s a reminder he’s only a few minutes away.
Five minutes later and Tom pulls up, quickly getting out and walking up to you. Worry and anger are written all over his face, radiating off of him in waves.
“Are you okay?” he asks, his voice gentle.
You nod wordlessly. You don’t meet his gaze as he looks you over.
“I’m so sorry,” he murmurs.
“Don’t be,” you rasp. Your voice is thick, tears now starting to fill your eyes. “It was bound to happen.”
“He’s a jackass. If you don’t mind me saying...”
“I don’t. You’re right. He is a jackass.” You look up at him, a few stray tears rolling down your cheeks. “He was always jealous. He hated that I worked with you guys. He especially hated you, only cause he felt threatened by your presence. He hated all the guys I worked with, honestly.”
Tom only shakes his head.
“You know, I found myself going back into reading as a way to escape.” You laugh bitterly. “It’s going to sound stupid, but I was reading Shakespeare. I loved it when I was in school, and I thought the way he wrote was romantic and tragic and... I wanted to just escape into his writing.”
“It’s not stupid.” Tom gently wipes your tears. “Don’t ever day that. There’s nothing wrong with that.”
“And I started learning languages as a way to distract myself,” you add, a watery chuckle escaping your lips. “I got that from you. I just... it’s actually interesting, and I always wanted to know more than one, so...”
Tom smiles, his eyes glittering. “That’s brilliant, darling,” he murmurs. “Why don’t we talk more about it away from here, from him. Do you want to go to my place? Or did you want to go somewhere else?”
“Can we go to your place?” you ask sheepishly. “I’d feel more comfortable there.”
“Of course. And on the way there, I’d like to hear about which of Shakespeare’s work is your favorite.”
You laugh outright at that. “That’s a hard one.” You wipe your eyes, a smile still on your lips. “But only if you tell me yours,” you add playfully.
“Of course.”

Can I request a 7 and 17 with Avengers Cast x teen and gender neutral reader please?
Notes: I’d like to thank @the-quarantine-diaries for the request!! I hope you like it.

Pairing/s: Avengers cast x gender-neutral!teen!reader (platonic)
Prompt List!
Prompt/s:
7. “I heard you scream. Nightmares again?”
17. “I vote today be a pajama day.”
Tumblr media
Nightmares suck. That’s it, that’s all you have to say on it. They absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, suck. You’ve been having a series of them for the past week and a half and you’re feeling drained — both physically and mentally. Some nights they’re so bad you’re startled awake, only for one of your cast members to come in and check on you, which makes you feel even worse cause now you’ve woken someone else over something so stupid.
You’re an actor, that’s been your job since you were little. You started out as a child actor, appearing in a few shows and commercials, then once you entered your teens you started appearing in movies. It wasn’t until recently you were signed a multi-movie deal with Marvel, and you were thrilled. You’ve always been a Marvel fan, thanks to your father. He collected the comics, and he’d let you read them when you were younger, your first taste into the comic world. You also watched the animated shows, too; they were your favorite. Being apart of your favorite franchise was a dream come true. Everyone was amazing, always supporting each other and having fun. They always made room for each other if time allowed it; most of the cast had families, and wanted to return to them as soon as shooting was done, but they always made an effort to have one last get-together before leaving.
The downside to having a cast like yours is that they’re particularly observant. They know when something’s up, and they usually pick up on it quickly. Even if it’s something small and insignificant, they’d pick up on it before you even open your mouth. That’s what happened with you. Your nightmares and lack of sleep was making you sluggish, and not as invested as you usually are. Everyone was starting to notice, and they were getting worried. Every time they asked, you brushed it off, not wanting them to worry over you. To you, explaining that you’ve been having constant nightmares sounded ridiculous, childish. God, you didn’t want them to think you were childish. You wanted to be seen as their equal, not as the helpless little kid.
“Y/N.” You jumped up from your seat, your heart racing. It took you a minute to focus before you realized someone was in front of you, Robert. His brows were furrowed, and he had his arms crossed over his chest. “What’s up, kid?” he asked. “I’ve been calling your name for the last five minutes, and you were all zoned out.”
“I-It’s nothing,” you muttered, refusing to meet his gaze. The Russos was allowing everyone to take a break, and you opted to spend it away from everyone else. You figured they wouldn’t notice if you had some alone time, you needed to sort yourself out anyway.
“We’re all worried about you.” Robert’s gaze softened. He dropped his arms and moved to sit beside you. “You haven’t been yourself lately,” he murmured. “You know you can trust us, right?”
You nodded wordlessly. You could feel his gaze on you, and it made your face heat up.
You’re acting like such a child, you thought bitterly. They’ll lose any respect they have for you as an actor.
You bite the inside of your cheek, trying to shut up your thoughts for one second.
“I’ve been having nightmares,” you mumbled, your cheeks were burning and you refused to meet Robert’s gaze. “I don’t know why, but I can’t get rid of them.”
You feel his arm wrap around your shoulders, bringing you closer to him. He was comforting you. “It’s okay to have nightmares sometimes,” he said. “I’ve had plenty.”
“I didn’t want you guys to think I was being childish.”
Robert scoffed at that. “You’re probably the most mature person here,” he exclaimed. “We’ll never think you’re childish. Unless it’s about drinking, or dating. You’re too young for both.” You couldn’t help but laugh at that.
——
A few days later, things seemed to go back to normal. After talking with Robert, you felt confident enough to tell the others what was going on, and they were supportive, offering comfort when needed. While you appreciated their generosity and kindness, it didn’t help the nightmares themselves. They still ravaged you in your sleep, frustrating you. All you wanted was sleep, but these damned nightmares were making it impossible.
So when you jolted up in your bed, your breathing labored and head spinning, you let out a strangled groan. Your throat burned, and you body was trembling; you probably screamed in your sleep. You had taken a nap in your trailer, wanting nothing more than to get a little bit of sleep in before going home. You’d finished your scenes for the day, unfortunately you were too tired to drive anywhere. But, of course, a nightmare had awoken you.
You heard a knock on your trailer door, and you had to take a minute to compose yourself. You couldn’t go out looking like a mess. Walking over to the door, you opened it and saw Chris E. standing there... in his pajamas. He’d finished his scenes recently from what you could tell; he was make-up free and more relaxed.
“Chris?” you stammered. “What’re you doing?”
“I heard you scream,” he said. “Nightmares again?”
You nodded. “Why are you in your pajamas?” you asked.
“I vote today be a pajama day.” He seemed genuinely proud of himself. “I texted everyone else, they agreed. They’ll be here soon, once they finish their scenes.”
“It’s five in the afternoon,” you laughed.
He shrugged, a playful smirk on his face, his eyes glittering mischievously. “It’s never too late to be a pajama day,” he said.
Rolling your eyes playfully, you stepped aside and let him in. He settled on your couch and let out a satisfied hum. “You’ve got a really nice couch,” he said. “I’m jealous.”
“Thanks... I guess,” you chuckled. “I’d offer you alcohol, but I don’t have any.”
Waving his hand dismissively, Chris looked back at you. “Don’t worry about it,” he said. “We can watch football, though. The Pats should be on soon.”
“Sure.”
After a couple hours, there was another knock on your door. Chris playfully nudged you from your spot on the couch, motioning you to go get the door. You could only assume it was everyone else, and you couldn’t stop yourself from smiling.

Pairings/Characters: Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, and teen!female!reader
Warnings: Creepy guy, uncomfortable female reader, Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, and Anthony Mackie protecting reader
Prompt List!
13. “Hey, just look at me. Breathe.”
25. “You know, I’m/we’re always here for you, right?”
Tumblr media
You’re an actress
You’ve been one since you were little
You starred in a bunch of tv shows and commercials when you were younger
Now you’re a teen and you’re working with Marvel
Multi-movie deal and all that
You became instant friends with the cast
You consider them like your unofficial family
Sebastian, Anthony, and Chris (Evans) are probably your closest friends though
They’re like your honorary older brothers
They’ll tease the h e l l out of you ’cause you’re the youngest
But they’ll have your back in an instant
Working with them (with everyone at Marvel) is probably the best thing that’s ever happened to you
ANYWAY
Y’all just wrapped up filming and Robert decided it’s time to have a “we’re free we can finally go home” party
Elizabeth (Olsen) suggested a restaurant
Everyone agreed
After some arguing, a restaurant was picked, reservations were set, and you were all on your way to get some food
You hitched a ride with Anthony
He teased you the entire ride to the restaurant
Once everyone showed up, you were all seated and everyone was having fun
Drinks and appetizers were ordered, and everyone was just talking and joking around
Until you started to feel a little uncomfortable
Like???
Why do you suddenly have goosebumps?
Why is your breathing becoming so shallow?
And why is your heart speeding up??
You feel like someone’s watching you, but you don’t want to turn and look
But you do and you instantly regret it
There’s a guy, maybe a couple years older than you, just watching you
He’s not hiding it either
He maintains eye contact with you when you catch him, and there’s something about how he looks at you that you don’t like
Your heart drops and you feel sick and you immediately look away
“Y/N, you okay?” Anthony asked. He sounded concerned
“Yeah. I’m fine.” You try to sound convincing, but you can tell Anthony isn’t buying it
You don’t catch the look he gives Chris and Sebastian
When drinks and appetizers arrive and your meals ordered, you try and distract yourself with the food you have in front of you
You’re not old enough for alcohol, so you got a lemonade instead
You also tried to keep your focus on everyone else, on what they were saying
But you felt his eyes on you, and it made your skin crawl
Suddenly you weren’t that hungry anymore
“N/N.” It was Sebastian this time. He sounded just as concerned as Anthony did. “Are you sure you’re okay? You look a little pale.”
What do you tell him?
God everyone’s looking at you
What do you tell them?
I’m fine don’t worry about me?
They won’t believe it
You don’t believe it
You feel like you’re going to throw up
Your heart is pounding against your ribs and your breathing is so shallow it’s making you lightheaded
“There’s someone who won’t stop looking at me,” you said, your voice shaking. You catch the look in Sebastian’s eyes, and the way Anthony and Chris stiffen beside you. “He’s been watching me this whole time and I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it, but...”
Chris puts his hand on your shoulder.
“Hey,” he said, “just look at me.” You do. “Breathe.”
You start taking steady breaths, but it didn’t do much to calm you down
Meanwhile, Anthony and Sebastian immediately found the guy
He was still looking at you, blatantly checking you out
He didn’t care if he’d been caught
Robert and Scarlett, and pretty much everyone else, were already standing up, ready to give the guy a piece of their mind
Chris had to practically order everyone to sit down
“I’ll take care of it,” he said.
“We’ll take care of it,” Sebastian added.
Chris, Anthony, and Sebastian all stood up and walked over to the guy’s table
You watched them, hoping they didn’t do anything drastic
The last thing you wanted was them hurting someone (or someone hurting them) because of you, because you felt uncomfortable
You felt a hand gently touch your forearm
You nearly jump out of your seat
It’s Cobie
She’s giving you a small, sympathetic smile
“Don’t worry about them,” she said. “They’ve got it under control.”
“And they’ve got all of us as back up,” Robert added, “just in case.”
“You know,” Elizabeth said, “we’re all here for you, right?”
You nodded, giving a small smile. “Yeah, I know.” You felt yourself relax a little. “Thank you.”

Silence, that’s all you heard. A big, overwhelming silence that just kept growing. Your cast-mates were looking less than thrilled as they stared down the interviewer. You were desperately trying to keep your composure.
The interview started out okay. The interviewer, a man just a little younger than Scarlett, seemed nice enough, even charismatic. He kept everyone at ease, conversations flowing easily between the questions. But you started to notice a pattern when he’d question you. Inquiries that were a bit too personal, an occasional off-handed comment that could come off as offensive.
You didn’t want to overreact. You were a fairly new actor so it would be natural that people were curious about you. You just weren’t comfortable answering personal questions. You wanted to keep your private life private. It was hard enough dealing with paparazzi and the like, but the questions he asked you were pushing you over the edge.
Part of you wondered if the others noticed your discomfort or were completely unaware. You’d give quick glances in their direction and they gave no indication of knowing. They all practically adopted you your first day, teasing you relentlessly but also protecting you whenever they could. It was endearing, and deep down you wanted them to do something. You didn’t feel comfortable doing something yourself, not wanting to come off as rude when everyone else seemed to be having fun.
He kept going, digging deeper and deeper until he asked the one question that made you snap. It was about the death of your grandmother, someone you were incredibly close with. She’d died of bone cancer when you were seventeen. She opted not to get treatment; the cancer was too advanced and she wanted to spend her final days with family. She went to sleep one night and didn’t wake up.
You found her body.
You’d briefly mentioned her death in a previous interview, and it looked like this guy did a little more digging. How he found out all that information was beyond you, but it hurt enough to make you start crying.
You were trying to compose yourself, but you felt the tears rolling down your cheeks. You felt hot and cold and your chest ached and your jaw hurt from clenching it. Your breathing was erratic, and there was the occasional hiccup when you tried to breathe deeply.
“Are you serious?” Anthony asked, anger lacing his words. “Tell me you didn’t just ask that.”
“It’s just—” The interviewer held his hands up in surrender, but it was too late.
“I don’t care,” he snapped. “I don’t want any of your bullshit excuses. You don’t ask shit like that. Jesus.”
“What’s wrong with you?” Scarlett chimed, placing a hand over yours. Her eyes were blazing with fury, her voice equally as harsh. “Seriously, what the hell is wrong with you?”
You took in a deep breath, trying to swallow the evident lump in your throat before letting out a trembling breath.
“I-it’s okay,” you stammered, your voice cracking slightly.
“I think we need to take a break,” Chadwick said, his voice stern. The interviewer opened his mouth to say something else, but was interrupted by Chadwick. “That wasn’t a question. We’re taking a break, and we are going to have a talk about this.”
Once the cameras were off, your cast-mates approached the interviewer and his crew about the incident. You took it upon yourself to separate yourself from it all. You needed a breather; some peace and quiet to collect yourself and calm down.
You found a spot a bit further from the set, less occupied and somewhat quiet compared to everywhere else. The tears were starting to fall at that point, and you were desperately trying to wipe them away. The lump in your throat was making it hard to breathe and your entire body felt like it was vibrating.
Take a deep breath, you thought, as you leaned your back against the wall. Deep breaths, focus on something else—anything else.
After what felt like a lifetime of breathing, you started to calm down. Somewhat. Enough for you to think clearly, and after wiping your face a final time, you went over to where the others were. Chadwick was in the midst of giving the crew a piece of his mind, with some of the crew trying to put in their side of the story. Scarlett and the others had seemingly finished what they had to say and were lingering back.
Anthony was the first to notice you, approaching you as his face softened. “You okay?” he asked.
“I’ll be fine.” You tried for a smile, but it more than likely looked like a grimace.
“We don’t have to finish this if you don’t want to,” Scarlett stated. “It’s up to you.”
You shrugged, a more genuine, albeit smaller, smile gracing your features. It didn’t matter to you either way. But at least you could look back at this moment with a hint of fondness, thanks to your friends.

49. “Y’know... that’s not what an apology sounds like.”
50. Person A: “You’re an assassin?!”

Hi I love your account! I was wondering if you could write a avengers cast x teen reader fic. Where the reader has anxiety and gets really overwhelmed. Sebastian Stan and Chris Evans find her having a panic attack and calm her down. Then the whole cast have a movie night to cheer her up. If you don’t have the time that’s completely fine :)
Notes: I’d like to thank (anonymous) for the request and I hope you like it!

Warnings: Anxiety, panic attacks, spelling/grammatical errors, whatever else I missed
Word Count: 797 (give or take)

You’ve been dealing with anxiety for quite some time now. You’ve had it since middle school, and it’s seemingly gotten worse over time. By the time you reached high school, even the smallest of inconveniences overwhelmed you and left you in a panicky mess.
So guess what happened when you managed to become an actress? Your anxiety levels skyrocketed! Memorizing lines over and over again in fear of what others would say or think if you got them wrong. Having varying levels of panic attacks when your brain and emotions blew things out of proportion—which was often. Being anxious and generally uncomfortable near your co-stars, worrying about how they saw you as a professional and as an individual.
The way you saw it, being a fairly unknown actress had its perks: very few people recognized you, and those who did wanted to know about your more famous co-stars. That still made your anxiety rise, having to talk to fans. At the same time, maybe this unknown status of yours was a good thing.
So it’s not like you’d be cast in a Marvel movie and have a boost in responsibilities, right?
Right?
Well, that’s exactly what happened. The guys at Marvel saw an audition tape of yours and decided you were a perfect fit for one of their characters. You had a panic attack when they called. You nearly passed out from lack of oxygen after accepting the role. You cried for over an hour after regaining your breath. You should’ve been happy, but you were petrified. What if you did a bad job? Would Marvel fire you? What if your co-stars saw you as mediocre? What if they didn’t think you could handle it? Why couldn’t your brain just give you a break?! Why can’t you just be normal?? Enter constant internal screaming.
The panic just worsened the longer you stayed with Marvel. Your co-stars liked you, despite your brain telling you otherwise. The fans took a general liking to you, even though the compliments and praises they gave you made your stomach twist nauseatingly. Cons, which were seen as fun for most of the cast, was the bane of your existence and interviews made you wish the earth could swallow you whole.
Even now, three movies into your contract, the thought of doing an interview to promote the newest Marvel movie filled you with dread. Your heart was beating painfully against your ribs. You couldn’t stabilize your breathing, your stomach was twisting and knotting and you wanted to throw up. Promotions always made you anxious, more so than anything else you’ve done so far. You had to have every response perfect, even the littlest mess up would send you spiraling downward.
Pressing a hand to your chest, you tried to calm yourself down. You thought by feeling your hand on your chest, you’d be able to balance yourself. It didn’t work. Your heart seemed to speed up and it became harder to breathe. You were certain you started sweating and your throat felt like it was closing. Everything around you became distant as all your attention went into how your body was reacting.
For just a moment, you thought you saw movement out of the corner of your eye. Were you imagining it? You couldn’t tell. Your brain was already scrambling from the emotions you were feeling, so it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if you were seeing things too. But when you saw more movement, and it was coming toward you, you let out a choked noise as you tried to scramble away from it. It wasn’t until you focused that you realized the movement transformed into two familiar silhouettes, and then the features of your co-stars Sebastian and Chris E.
They looked worried. Their mouths were moving but you couldn’t understand what they were saying. Chris knelt a little to be at your eye level, holding a hand out. He paused, looking at you as if asking permission to touch you. All you did was let out a strangled sob.
Sebastian came forward, kneeling as well as he gently wiped the tears from your face. His hand went to one of yours, holding it gently, his thumb running circles on your knuckles. Chris placed a hand on your forearm, gently running his hand up and down your arm.
Both men were trying to comfort you, you knew that. At that moment, you wanted to disappear. You wanted to be anywhere else.
Still, as you started to relax, the more you appreciated the gestures they made. How they knew to find you in that moment was beyond you. You’d be grateful to them, to their kindness and understanding. In the end, they didn’t have to say anything. They just had to be there.

I did this more as a headcanon, I hope you don’t mind 😅
I don’t own any of the gifs/pictures used.

Can I request a 7 and 17 with Avengers Cast x teen and gender neutral reader please?
Notes: I’d like to thank @the-quarantine-diaries for the request!! I hope you like it.
I don’t own any of the gifs/pictures used here.
