a tale of thousand stars review: (some spoilers)

i LOVED everything about this show, the characters, production, chemistry, setting and the whole storyline/plot twist was PERFECT (don’t let me get started on how beautiful the village is cause i will never stop)

The amount of emotions that i felt in this show, i felt sad, happy, angry and frustrated, for some reason this show made me feel like i could achieve anything if i wanted to.

This show teaches you A LOT of things for example, that people CAN change for the better and that the truth will always somehow comes out (even if you tried to hide it) i also feel like this show values trust and friendship. I also love how in every episode there’s an advice said at the end (or during the episode)

The characters were perfect but i wanted to talk about one specific character that i adored so much and that is Tul, the way he reacted when tian came out to him is how EVERYONE should react when someone comes out to them, he accepted him without second thoughts, he asked tian “if i told you i liked women would you be surprised?” and when tian said no he replied with “so why would i be surprised? you just realised what you liked” and i just love how natural he was.

i advice you guys to watch it, it is definitely one of the best BL’s of 2021, i didn’t find a single flaw in the show.

My review for Ingredients the series:

This is a really short review :)

Although this was a mini series with really short episodes, i love it, the show is full of fluff and i could die from the amount of adorable moments

Jeff and gameplay are criminally underrated, they both did so good with portraying Win and Tops and i love the fact that they bring in the actors actually hobby/career like singing and cooking. I could listen to Jeff sing all day and watch Gameplay cook all day

My favourite episodes were definitely 12, 16, 18 and 19, i literally rewatch these episodes every single day, it came part of my daily routine

you can binge watch this show in just a day, it has REALLY short episodes, the chemistry between the two actors is fantastic and feels very natural, i would totally recommend you watch it if you haven’t (i also can’t wait to see them in Kinnporsche the series)

my review for Oxygen the series: (spoilers)

I loved the concept of this show, how they meet in a coffee shop and just everything about it feels like watching a fan fiction come to life.

The way Solo immediately fell in love with gui after he made him warm milk, the way they continued the storyline of the warm milk and how solo can’t go to bed without drinking some warms my heart.

I was very shocked when i found out that Solo was actually engaged the whole time, i think it was episode 12 where you really see how distraught Solo was and how he can’t handle being away from gui, i lowkey hated the dad at the beginning and cursed a lot at him (lowkey deserves it for doing what he did to my baby gui)

The side couple Phu and Kao are just adorable, the way Phu considers Kao as his bunny is so adorable, the way Phu is so protective of kao and how he’s the only one who can command Kao around and tells him what to do and what not to do, everything about them is so cute

overall i loved it and i would totally recommend watching it if you love fluff

I’m so mad I didn’t find Manner of death earlier, it’s such a good series, I watched 9 episodes in one day.

It’s soooo interesting. I really avoid high school/university BL’s (unless story is interesting, like Color rush). I also avoid all series where actors with a main role are younger than 20. Even as a teen I couldn’t stand teens kissing or flirting. 

For real, we need more BL with crime/mystery/murder. Especially people like me who love everything crime related.

And the way Tan looks at Bun is just precious. Actors really have great chemistry and it doesn’t seem forced at all. Not to mention Max really has such a pretty smile and such kind eyes ^^

I’m really glad I was reading @lovesamyu reviews, otherwise I don’t know if I would find this series yet.

my review on Theory of love: (spoilers)

A lot of people did not like this show and i can understand why, but i personally loved it. I loved the storyline and how they brought in other movies to describe how they feel.

Khai was an asshole, there’s no denying it, the way he treated third was horrible, although he ‘didn’t know’ that third liked him but that still gives him no reason to treat him the way that he did.

i did feel bad for him (khai) in episode 11, the train scene was heartbreaking, it shows a more vulnerable side of khai and his insecurities, it shows that he doesn’t like breaking his promises (even though he broke like 3 of them during the show??)

Also third, for the love of god, stop showering in your clothes and crying🙏🏻

i would recommend this show is you have A LOT of patience, like A LOT

my review on manner of death:

This storyline is so different from most BL’s which is really refreshing to see, it is basically mystery/murder/crime and i personally love shows like that

The way Max and Tul portrayed Tan and Bunn was fantastic, i felt every single emotion they let out and for some reason i felt like i was part of the show, trying to figure out who did that and who did this and who’s the bad guy, it was so fun to keep on guessing and wondering.

The show really keeps you interested and you will feel like you want to watch episode after episode just to see what would happen next.

And we can’t forget about our BL kings Max and tul, their chemistry is out of this world, you can feel the care they have for each other through the screen and i love that because it seems so natural and yes there is obviously romance in the show

I also want to talk about how homophobia isn’t a problem, they have every single issue in the world in this show except from homophobia, which i found really cool because a lot of shows talk about that most and how their families don’t accept them, so seeing a whole town/city accepting them just like that without any explanation felt kind of good?

i don’t want to say much because i know someone wanted to look it up and maybe watch it? so i don’t want to give too much away, but i would totally recommend it if you love mystery and action, there will be a lot of fighting

my review on love by chance:

Look the series was good, i did feel like the main couple (Ae and Pete) were sort of like awkward?? maybe it’s because Pete was a shy person not very open and outgoing as Ae, but i didn’t feel like they were so awkward that i can no longer watch it, just a tiny bit.

the side couple (tincan) were so adorable, although you don’t see much of them until episode 8? (i think) but if you’re interested in them, they do have their own season (which obviously focuses more on them and explains Tin’s story) they are enemies to lovers (again one of my favourite tropes) tin is more of a calm person, doesn’t like much noise whereas Can is very loud and energetic, so it was really fun to watch them try to get along.

The show is actually so funny, especially whenever Can appears, it does have sad moments that will make you tear up, but i did not fully sob like i did in UWMA or Why R U.

was it one of my favourite shows?? not really, would i still recommend it? yes, it has a a lot of wholesome scenes, so if you like fluff then you should totally watch it.

This show was one of the best BL’s i have ever watched, i used to be so obsessed with it and here’s why

The chemistry between fighter and tutor is so natural you don’t even feel like they’re acting and whenever they have intimate moments or spicy scenes you WILL feel like you’re watching something you shouldn’t be seeing, when i first watched it i felt like i was intruding on them.

If you love spicy scenes you will definitely like this show especially fighter and tutor and if you love cute and fluff shows then you will love the side couple (who i’m pretty sure have their own show) Saifah and zon (even though they do get a little bit spicy in the last episode🌚)

Episodes 11 and 12 destroyed me, my friends and family thought i was depressed, i was really going through it y’all, luckily saifah and zon made me feel a lot better, i also want to say that the show will make you laugh especially whenever saifah and zon are on screen

Now there is another couple i think their names in the show are blue and dew?? i’m not totally sure, they don’t have enough screen time for you to actually know what’s going on with them, i think that’s the only flaw in this show, i wanted to know more about them and their story (i think this couple is in another show called Y destiny, i’m currently watching it)

i would totally recommend this if you LOVE enemies/rivals to lovers and if you love when couples tease each other.

my review on UWMA: (i don’t know if you would consider what i said a spoiler or not, i’m sorry)

If you’re like me and you like shows that will make your eyes hurt and burn and maybe causes you a headache from crying so much then this show is for you

I was very confused when i watched the first episode for the first time (or should i say the first 10 mins of the first episode) so if you haven’t watched it, it will basically switch back and forth between the past and the present (DO NOT STOP WATCHING IT LIKE I DID, I PROMISE IT’S GOOD)

This show is a huge emotional rollercoaster, (at that time) i have never cried this much for a show, it will make you laugh, cry and maybe even feel irritated, i was confused for half of the time i was watching it but luckily i understood what was going on, my brain just lagged

If you don’t know the story it’s about 2 boys (obviously) who discover that they are the reincarnated souls of two past lovers who have tragically committed suicide, like i said it will switch back and forth to the past and present and will show you what happened to cause such a tragic yet perfect story

Now the side couple is PERFECT, the amount of love that i hold for winteam, although they don’t have a lot of screen time they would always steal my attention from the main couple every time they showed up, they love teasing each other and to bicker every time they’re around each other, it’s absolutely adorable, i literally can’t wait for between us the series🙏🏻

I would totally recommend you watch this show if you haven’t (or just rewatch it because it’s THAT good) it does have a happy ending just in case you’re wondering, prepare the snacks and the tissues if you’re going to watch it
