[Image description: a series of photos showing the leaf of a Monstera deliciosa going from tightly rolled up to fully spread. The final image shows the leaf with the holes typical of a Monstera deliciosa leaf. It is a paler green than the surrounding leaves, and very glossy.]
Monstera leaf unfurling. Took a lot longer than I thought it would! One picture per day.
Haven't been active on this account much lately or taken many new pics of my plants. Guess I'm going thru a bit of a funk, mostly burnt out from work. But no worries! Holiday break is coming up and I am taking several days off for the remainder of the year!! I will finally have more time for my green gals and share their beautiful progress. This is my kitchen in the early afternoon hours, plant space is very limited when you have to consider a plant eating cat.
My mom is gifting me her Pilea!!! She said she’s had this plant for about 4 years now, and it’s grown so big. It has become a little big for her and has become more stress to her, so she is gifting it to me. I always go to her house and gawk over it, so I am very excited about this. Hopefully I can keep it growing in glory, otherwise I promised to return it to her so it doesn’t die.
A week ago this leaf all the way rolled up. After a few months, I feel like I finally developed a confidence about my indoor plant care. So far no one has died and everyone is growing new leaves, even some flowers 03 0
The trouble is now caring for the babies I put outside on my porch😅
