Wagamamas Steak Ramen
Okay I stole this picture from the Wagamama’s website, but I forgot to take a picture of my own! This was a huge portion which I couldn’t finish, and had some help from my partner. Definitely recommend for those trying to eat healthy but want to go out to eat.

First time trying this super quick and easy meal, only thing I would do next time is add a bit more spice to counter the sweet, maybe add another veg.

Low calorie Pizza Hut
So last night I had to go out for dinner with my friends. We were meant to go to a chicken place but it was closed and ended up at Pizza Hut. I decided to go for a chicken and vegetable flatbread which was only 500 calories in total! Definitely recommend this.

Tuna pasta ‘bake’
Tuna pasta with mozzarella. This was supposed to be a bake but I was too lazy to wash up a big dish, so just microwaved it when I added the mozzarella. These are really decent portions. You could split this into 5.

Hummus with carrots
Awful bland looking picture, but it’s perfectly ready portioned hummus with carrot batons. This is surprisingly really filling. I’m not that keen on carrot but if you Chuck enough hummus on it helps 🤣 could also use celery/cucumber/pepper.

Rainbow couscous salad with salmon
Calories with the salmon - 535
Calories without - 310
This is a really hearty salad, it has CousCous, cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, parsley, feta cheese in it. I would recommend having a protein with it to keep you full. If you don’t like salmon you could add anything else like chicken, tuna, tofu, nuts, or prawns etc. I used a big pasta bowl so you can see just how big a portion this is for the calories.

Shakshuka style eggs and toast
I haven’t posted for ages because I’ve put weight back on since last year when I started the blog. It’s been a hard year but I’m determined to get back down to 14 stone again.
For breakfast/brunch I made shakshuka inspired eggs.

This is today’s calorie count. I’m trying to ‘fast’ in the morning as I’ve heard intermittent fasting for 16 hours is good for you. Personally I think it’s rubbish and causes me to overeat at lunch. I’m definitely going to use up my 400 calories left over for snacks, I’m thinking strawberries and whip bars!

Sooo clearly I did rubbish today and went over by nearly 400 calories. This could have been avoided by not having the beer, nuggets or snacks with my lunch. But we went on a really long walk today and smashed the 10,000 steps and had a picnic, so no regrets today !! I had a lovely day 💫☀️

I’m a bit over today but I don’t usually eat a big breakfast like I did today. Trying to get back on track for the next 10 days or so until my partners birthday. I haven’t really lost any weight at all this month, and I’m not surprised with all the crap I’m eating. Need to do some exercise too 😭😂

Low calorie home made cottage pie:
Mushrooms - 32

Eat lean cheese (for topping) - 127
Total = 1475 = 4 portions at 369 each
My advice for making this is use more veggies to the amount meat. You could add beans or lentil type foods to this, or swap out the steak mince for quorn mince. The bowl shows a 1/4 of the baking tray and as you can see is a huge portion. You could also add peas or broccoli on the side to make it extra healthy. Yum!

I keep forgetting to post, but most my meals have been repeated recently and aren’t varied. Pesto pasta with chicken tonight which is an Asda range ready meal, so we’ll see how that is. I’ll probably end up around the 1300 mark after snacks later. I’ve gone way over the last 4 days so not expecting any losses this week. 😭

Today was a bit strange as I went to work and was meant to return home to eat lunch, but I ended up staying and just had a snack/lunch when I got home. I’m definitely going to eat more snacks today, and this will probably be some chocolate and popcorn. I’ve just finished dinner and I’m craving something sweet! 😍💫

I keep forgetting to post lately, but to be honest most days recently start with fruit, plain tortellini with 10g of grated cheese at lunch, and then some sort of low calorie dinner with rice (I find rice to be the lowest calorie high carb food) such as curry, or flavoured/fried rice. I’m making a cottage pie this weekend so we’ll see how that works out for me! 😂💫
