Wilhelm by the Lake, Young Royals Episode 3, Season 1
What was he thinking here? i don't know but his emotion felt so genuine here, genuinely happy and at content.
One of my favourite scene that really made a huge impact to me. It's a scene which i would undoubtedly watch over and over again only to pause and just gaze at it, something i can peacefully get myself lost into and cry. Not because it's sad but because it felt so liberating, so humane (i just want to cry). Maybe because after all the things that we have been through we just want something that can appease our tired body and soul. And this scene is just so calm, so genuinely pleasant and peaceful - it felt like an escape from everything that's been going on around us. I wish, though, that Wilhelm and Simon would be able to have this kind of serene moment again, where they would just sit beside each other, be it by a lake, on a rooftop, or a field, and just watch life slowly transpiring around them, but not caring too much as they're occupied with each other's company and that the thought of having the person you dearly love the most by your side is enough to ignite such happiness inside you. i want that, i really want that, for them. for everyone.
