Ok, sooooo

I attempted digital art again and, well, I can't say it's good, but, ei, we all have to start somewhere.

It might not be perfect but I had lots of fun with it, so, enjoy.

I imagined, like, Link playing a prank on Revali where he painted most of his clothes and also feathers. Can also be thought as a "Revali with different colours" thing.

1) Sounds! I know it might sound too vague, but I mean gentle sounds, such as bird chirps, the sound wind makes on leaves in the trees, the sound of a water stream, the sound of wind on grass, etc... It makes me calm and super happy, as if I had a deep connection to the wilderness;

2) Music! I love music! I am a very mobile person, as in, I need to pace when I hear music, I need to move a lot and music helps with it. Also, I love how music can make me sad AND happy and a lot of other things.

3) Games! Any kind. Video games, board games, physical, children like games, etc.. I just need them to be active and being active makes me happy and relaxed!

4) Writing. Sure, it makes me stressed how sometimes I can't write on queue and how others I get ideas in the middle of the night or in PE class, but I love writing. Especially in English, which isn't even my native language. Idk, it just gives me the feeling that I am good at something for once. (Also, it helps clear my mind by putting what's in it down)

5) Light auras. As in, being around people who I can make smile, laugh and feel loved. People who might not do that to me, but that I feel like they may need laughter a bit more than me. I just love doing it, and... It makes me feel extremely well and with a lighter aura per say, sorry if it sounds weird.

(I am not sure if I can tag ten people, cuz, let's face it, I'm new to tumblr and I don't wanna bother people, but I'll try)

So, I'm going through a... Though thing rn and it made an idea pop into my head.

How do u think the youngster of the group feels, by being the younger in it.

Like, I imagine that, when they met, the others thought "A teenager? Oh, by the goddess he must be protected"

And just tried to protect him, but unknowingly were hurting him, emotionally.

Like, one day, they are ambushed and, when he goes to pick up his weapons, someone picks him up and sets him far away from the fight. The immediate response of a teen to this is anger and then sadness. Anger cuz someone manhandled him and sadness cuz he feels like he's seen as a weakling or, at most, a burden.

Then, another day, he tries to prove himself, to prove that he is a brave sailor boy who fought Ganon head on. He joins the group around the campfire, but is immediately told to go away from there.

Now, they were only trying to protect him from Wars talking about sex and horror mentions in everyone's stories, but he didn't know that. He felt bad. He felt like he wasn't wanted.

It keeps on like that until, one day, during a fight, he takes a sword and starts slashing and decapitating enemies with all the anguish and sadness and anger he'd felt those last days.

The others are stunned. They set camp and cleaned their weapons that night without talking. Then, the sailor goes over to the campfire, turns to them and in the calmest voice possible says:

"I am not a defenseless kid. I am not a burden. I know how to fight, cook, sail and kill. I sailed the Great sea in search of the 8 pieces of the Triforce, forced the Godesses to accept me as the hero, faced Gods of the ocean and stabbed Ganon in the head. I travelled with pirates for a year. I am not defenseless, so stop making me think I am"

And then retreats to his bedroll.

Just, like that.

So, you know how shoebill birds are probably the inspiration to Loftwings in Skyward Sword?

These guys:

Yea, these guys, these amazing birds with tall legs, an 8 foot wing span (2.5 m) and a hard beak that they use to decapitate their preys with.

Looks pretty similar to Loftwings, uh?

Well, I was thinking about it and, since Wild's Hyrule is full of wildlife and, since Loftwings existed in Sky's era, then it wouldn't be unusual for shoebills to exist.

It's as if they underwent a process of evolution, where their height was reduced to better fit the surface and to prevent from being hunted and spotted, ence why their colours probably went from bright ones to more dull ones, darker and unsuspicious.

So, imagine that, one night, Sky, the ever wood carver, bird lover he is, shows the Chain a carving he made that depicts a Loftwing. Most specifically, Zelda's. He's been carving it through their journey to, when they arrive in his Hyrule, give it to her as an apology gift, for leaving in a heap of... Well, not even he knows. He just saw purple and run after it. (it turned out to be a portal)

So, as he's showing it, Wild looks up from the food he's preparing, totally obvious to what it is or to who it is, and says:

"Oh, cool. A shoebill. Didn't know you had those in your era." And turns back to the food.

And Sky is just standing there quiet, trying to understand what he meant with that, and shrieks before asking:

"A shoe-what? Wild, this is a Loftwing... Wait a minute, you have Loftwings in your era?" He's totally perplexed by the possibility of seeing some kind of legacy left by Skylofters in far away eras, but it comes down a few minutes after, when Wild explains.

"Loftwing? I have never heard that name and I have to say that we don't have them. But we do have showbill birds and those look a lot like that carving. Oh, wait, I have a picture in my slate. Hold up a minute." So, he takes his slate out of his waist holder thingy, scrolls through it and then hurls it around for Sky and the others to see. (the picture is the one above)

And. And Sky is just. Perplexed and emotive, because what he was seeing was a miniature Loftwing, much like how the juvenils looked, but fully formed. It made him realise that maybe, just maybe, Skylofters had left more than just a name to the land. They'd left Loftwings, in smaller size, that contributed to the ecosystem of Hyrule in one of the timelines Time had drafted upon using the ocarina of time.

He didn't sleep that night.

Instead, he carved another Loftwing, this one flying, wings outstretched and beak opened in a screech. HIS Loftwing.

He passed out mid stroke of the knife against wood, yearning of home.

Well, if we go by that, I want to add that Wild would feel similar to him, in the sense that his personality changes sometimes, because, let's be real, the Shrine of Resurrection made him a favour erasing memories as much as it made it a nightmare, so his personality altered from stoic and quiet to careless and loud. But, sometimes, it just changes and he goes back to being the silent knight, especially after memories involving lightning or sometimes after fights involving electricity, and, in his quest, whenever he got struck by lightning during climbing or walking, he went back to his past life's mood for days.

And in a way, it makes sense that it be like that, because when Legend got to Koholint island he had previously been dealing with a storm that involved lightning and the vause of his boat breaking might have been said lightning striking him and the boat, which would justify the whole adventure being themed around music, because, in the case that it wasn't indeed a dream, the Windfish would have been the one to provoke the storm, which, may I add, ends when he is woken up. The Windfish, in all its wisdom, sent a messanger, Marin, who did what? Sing.

She sang the Windfish song and when Legend first heard her, he imagined a slow dance where the two of them danced all night long along the shore.

While in the island, his personality remained the same, sweet, but once he finished the quest it changed completely, which might have been a sign that the windfish was real, because its magic protected him from that side effect, but when it all ended... It just changed.

I can just imagine him going home and getting confronted about his bad attitude, being called every mean word they coud find, such as uneducated, rude, son of a..., ungrateful bastard... You get it.

And poor Legend, not educated in medicine or the side effects of lightning, couldn't explain that it was involuntary. So he just went with it. That is... Until he met the Chain and found someone a bit like him.

Wild.

Yes, because the Shrine, as previously explained, took his previous personality away, but lightning usually brought it back and electricity fights did too.

Wild's quest was eventful but quiet, so, whenever he stayed in a stable or met a traveler (or went into the champions villages) he'd always listen to any songs they knew, so he coud fill his mind from the murderous silence later, when travelling.

He'd always imagine dances, from the moves he could remember, and it helped him gain some of his mundane memories back. Like parties or village festivals

Sorry for the very long thingy, I just wanted to agree and add.

Okay that Legend has insomnia is not a new headcanon but I just learned that when you got hit by lightning, that you can get insomnia. In the most chase's even.

Plus, it can give massive personality changes. So Legend was sweet and nice before but after that his personality changed to his grumpy self. Also, it can make it easier for you to just take full advantage of your creative part of your brain. So even though he could dance okay-ish and play okay-ish after the whole lighting thing. It was so easy for him to listen to a song and think of a dance on the top of his head or think of a way to play a instrument.

OMG, yes!

I can imagine that in many of his journeys he has struggled with getting up and doing what he needs to do, because, not only does he have the weight of the world on his shoulders, but also the struggles of doing what he needs to do while telling himself he needs to do them, but his brain won't cooperate. (Hope I'm making sense😀)

Oh, and along his journeys there's always very elaborate puzzles and mind games and I can't help but to think that that is what keeps him interested, because they secretly keep him interested and also drive him mad at the same tim and he can't help but go on!

Oh! And, like, this is with the LU, the Link's all share stories of their adventures and the way he tells his is less passionate than the others in general, but let this man get to the parts he likes, like the power rings and bracelets he uses or some magic objects and all that, and he'll be the most enthusiastic person on Hyrule, because you can't tell me that, throughout his journeys, he hasn't developed some hyperfixation on how they work and figuring out their secrets. I bet Legend spent most of his time filling out his journal with how and when and what they are and what so else.

(Yes, in my mind, Legend has a journal, because it's only logical. Imagine how difficult it must be to remember everything about all those journeys. Also, journaling is a great way to keep yourself interested and, well, not bored, which I think he must be most of the time)

I also think he doesn't mean to be snarky and snappy, it just happens because sometimes he feels so overwhelmed internally, or that something is wrong but he doesn't know why, that it just comes out and he ends up feeling really bad, but also embarassed to apologize.

Alright! It is that time again where I read a fanfic and now have adopted another headcanon.

Today's headcanon is:

Legend has ADHD. That's it. That's the headcanon. How do you think he was able to go on so many adventures? because he just couldn't sit still, he had to move. He uses his rings to play with them, when he is stressed. (I might flesh this hc out later..) feel free to add on to it if you want...please..

I mean, here's a baton that can change the wind direction, no matter how strong it is at the moment, and that can cause cyclones at the holders will to warp them across the ocean.

I mean, let this thing fall in the wrong hands, like, let's say a villain, like Ganon, who captures Link, and it could be the recipee for ocean domination.

Because:

1- Strong winds are the main cause of many destructions and changing the direction, being able to toy around with it to wherever you want, could cause massive destruction OR send someone flying with immense strength into a wall or the ocean itself, causing death or life threatening injuries.

2- The cyclones thing. Just think about it. Cyclones are enourmous strenghts of nature and they usually cause destruction if, say, a ship is caught on them. Or worse, imagine that villain decides to warp somewhere and there's a rito flying up above and they just... Get sucked in and into the depths of the ocean.

I mean, not even Cyclos or Zephos can stop someone from using the baton for bad things, because the wielder will already know the songs, either by experience or, most likely, torture.

Sometimes I think about how dangerous the wind waker (the baton) can actually be you with all the things it could do 🙂 but I dont have time unfortunately.

This is gonna be a stupid ask, but do you think that, if the Link's ever decided to start a Lawn Mower corporation, but instead of Lawn Mowers it'd just be them cutting grass?

Like, I imagine their grass cutting styles and patterns would be different.

Oh! Or maybe they'd make a competition to see who cut grass faster, and the winner would win a lot of rupees, you know? And Four would be in his minish form putting rupees on the grass with the others?

Oh Gosh!

Like, I just got Link's awakening and let me tell you, I spent half of the switch battery by cutting grass and speaking to myself, like, doing little voices asking Link what he was doing and I answered "Mowing your lawn. Have you seen this? This is a disgrace. Oh! And I'm keeping the money I find, cuz your wallet has a freaking hole! Ah!"

Thinking about it, I may have not slept enough... 😂

The King in Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker has always been one of the most inigmatic characters in my top ten list of mysterious ones.

So, I honour to him, because he may or may not have traumatised Link way too much, and in honour of the game, which is very good and has some very interesting music's in the soundtrack, here's my attempt at digital drawing him.
