🦇✨🎧 05.05.2022 | I DID IT! My final grad class is over! My museum thesis on vinyl exhibition passed, and my museum advisor nominated it for a best thesis award. My museum studies grades are still floating, but my library science MLIS will be a 4.0. I really have never had so much fun doing such hard work in all my life. 🦇✨🎧

1/18/2022 Finally got my booster and my thesis notes back. My semester is apparently starting today, but I’ve heard nothing from professor so that’s a bit alarming. And heat is out in the archive, so on top of being achey, I’m also just chilling in a 55 degree room all day.
Hope everyone has some cool classes they’re looking forward to!

12/21/2021 🎄 I just handed in the last of my work! One final semester and I’m through folks! Hope everyone has a nice upcoming holiday season: I know I’m looking forward to having some reading time to myself. I’m a little disappointed in my final paper on video game archiving- its a cool topic that I didn’t do justice, but hopefully I can explore a bit more in the future and do some better work.
Did anyone work on some interesting final projects that they’re proud of?? Love to hear about them

12/12/2021 🖋🖤 I’m back! I’ve handed in the first chapter of my thesis! I finished my fellowship, waiting to see if it could be renewed. I only have one final left, and I’ve been looking into the difficulty of archiving gaming servers. Which I know nothing about so its going pretty slow, but I have a week to sort it out.
Hope everyone is doing well during this finals season! Take care xx

10/22/2021 | Do campuses have a mandatory pretty quad policy? Rain or shine studying on campus is always gorgeous,=. My thesis is coming together, my second paper is good, and I’ve flown home for a friend’s wedding. Home to visit my pets and family for the weekend.

10.15.2021 | 🪦🦇 A good old Fall read. I really thrive in these seasons. But I am drowning in work. I’m so far behind that I earned a scholarship (??!!) and didn’t realize it because I’m so behind on emails.

10.02.21 | ⚜️ I’m a bit healthier but drowning in Knowledge Organization as a course. Its a huge topic! Kind of overwhelming. I’ve been reading about domain analysis for a reflection paper, and criminal evidence warehouses through the lens of the archival turn. At least I can read outside and enjoy the leaves and parks.
What’s everyone working on this fall? Any cool courses, or research?
