It's incredibly hard to live with memory issues.

Whether you struggle with the short term, long term, recall, or the whole process, you're doing an amazing job.

All sorts of things can mess with our ability to remember things, from ADHD and other neurodivergence, to emotional or physical trauma to the brain, to substance and meds mismanagement. I'm so, so proud of you for trying, and for working through it.

Society insists you are worth less for forgetting, but I remember you and I assure you that is not the case.

Personally for me, a death witch works heavily with both energies of life and death! Because you can't have one without the other! 💀🌙🌻

What is a death witch? Does it mean like you can only work with powers of death?

To answer the second question first, and this will vary from person to person, but for me, the answer is no! I do all sorts of things outside the realm of death witchery, but the majority of my craft is centered around death work, so I like to call myself a death witch.

For example, I love gardening and working with the energies of the Earth in that way, and I do a lot of kitchen witchery.

To answer the question of what a death witch is, well, that will also vary a little from person to person. Generally speaking, a death witch is someone who works frequently with things/people centered around death/the dead, though what said death witch actually does is dependent upon their personal practice.

I have recently gained quite a few death witch or death-witch-adjacent friends through the Hades and Persephone Server, and not a single one of us has exactly the same path or does exactly the same stuff.

This!!! I see so many witches discourage beginner witches when they ask a question and receive "do your own research". Like, sometimes when I was a beginner I couldn't find answers for what I was looking for and thought a more advanced witch would know and then receive "do your own research"! We need to be kinder and more willing to help beginners. We all were there once too!

can we give baby witches a break like they are trying their bests don’t be a dick help them. We all started out as one. Instead of being rude help them. Yes they should do research and work on protection as they start out but help them guide them. Thank you for coming to my witchtalk

I wish I had the courage to make a small business but it all sounds like too much to figure out and keep up with.

I feel like it does take a lot of courage to put yourself out there like that especially after all of the trauma. I know self reliance isn’t the pinnacle of what people should want but it does have its purposes in the country we’re in. You’ve refused to give up even when so many things have been shitty for you. I’m simultaneously proud of you and wish I could do that for myself.

I really appreciate that! And yeah I won't lie it's difficult. Thankfully from a tax perspective if you aren't making a whole lot it's tolerable, but you really do have to be making a lot for it to be profitable and livable. I'm talking over 20k a year.

I only made it through 2020 because of my savings account and a couple months of unemployment. I only made it through 2021 because I also did DoorDash. Even people in my city that I thought "made it" also have second jobs and have been struggling these past two years. If you want to start a small business, don't be like me and quit your job outright (if you have one) because you'll want that supplemental income. I had to for my health, but I was planning to do this in 2025, not now. So that I would have bigger savings to work with.

There's a lot that I am proud of, but it costs a LOT of money to do this and it has run out. It's really not that sustainable unless you go viral or can build a community - and with Tumblr dying, Instagram's algorithm not prioritizing small businesses, having to pay for ads or losing a percentage of your pay to keep your work in local shops...well. Everything is a gamble.

While I obviously support you following what matters to you, do be smart about it and be willing to accept that income is not guaranteed. Especially since 2021, sales have tanked for everyone in my small business circles and people are thinking about giving up. Social media may make it look like fun (it is) or glamorous (it isn't) but I wouldn't have done this if not for the pandemic.

Support small businesses. We don't even get paychecks lol.

To anyone annoyed that irish witches have problem with the cultural vomit that is the wheel of the year.

We are not saying that you cannot practice wiccanism. Or that English people don’t have their own culture and contributions to paganism.

Just saying that the English word for Bealtaine (Lá Bealtaine) is May Day. Just May Day.

And if you want to use the Irish language, you will seem pretty disrespectful to any native speaker if you don’t at least try to say it correctly. Or worse try to Anglicise it and pretend it isn’t an Irish word. (Same goes for Samhain). Same goes for Scotland and other cultures. Respect Ireland, Scotland, Norway etc as individuals and don’t just label it all as “Wicca” or celtic or norse

The Irish language is a real language with speakers. And we’ve been through a lot of shit historically, where industrial schools were opened where Irish was banned. We lost our speakers through emigration, death poverty all caused by the English. So if you use the Irish language, respect it. Its a wonder it survived and it just goes to show how important it is to us.

I’d be happy to help people learn the language. We welcome it.

Calling on the LGBTQ community;

Call me Ben, I am 21 years old and I am an atheist transgender woman living in a  country where its a big sin to be homosexual or transgeder. The sentence is 14 years imprisonment if caught or reported with evidence.

I have been living an undercover life for four years now, my family are extremely religious and wouldn't let it slide if they get to know about me. My uncle suspected me once, he told my parents and they promised to hand me to the Feds if the suspicions a true. My mom (who is lenient)promised to send me to corrective therapy and never allowed access to the outside world until I'm sane (they see my originality as insanity).

I can't keep this cover up for much longer, already I'm raising eyebrows and so many are watching my every step. I'm scared, and all I ask Is be what I want in a safe environment. I don't want to face 14years jail term nor want to be looked up in a corrective therapy.

I'm calling on the LGBTQ.

I want to move out to a neighbouring country where Its not a crime to be who/what you want to be.

The money is to cover my travel expenses and living expenses until I reach a place where I can create my own income.

☀️Sun Salts☀️

These salts are super easy to make and are good for any sun magic, an offering to solar deities, solar bath salts, cleansing, energy, positivity, healing, creativity, protection, and more 🌞

What you need-

🔆A mortar and pestle

🌼Sea salt

🍊Dried orange peel (and/or orange essential oil)

🌻Chamomile, marigold, sunflower, or any yellow petaled flower (dried)

🌾A dash of cinnamon powder

Instructions:

🔆Gather your ingredients

🔆Combine them one by one in a mortar and pestle until the salt changes color (yellow or orange) or until its powderized

🔆Let it charge in the sunlight (sunrise-sunset) with your favorite sun crystal

🔆store in an airtight bottle and enjoy!
