“I would not be the person I am without the authors who made me what I am - the special ones, the wise ones, sometimes just the ones who got there first.”
Some musings on darkness and how I’m trying to see it in a new way:
For me darkness is mostly a symbol of the unknown and the fear, the anxiety of not knowing. It’s the absence of light, where conscious illumination can’t reach. But it’s not just an absence.
My body is extracting energy from the air right now. I have no idea how, but it’s happening. And even if I study and understand more about the respiratory system, this wouldn’t make the process more conscious to me in the slightest. This is one of the infinite things that happens outside my consciousness or, in other words, in the dark.
And yet all these unseen processes, from the small atoms to the giant stars, are precisely what allows for the light of consciousness to manifest. All this moving darkness is the true home of the fire. The mother of being.
“Nobody wants to do it- not real change, not soul change, not the painful molecular change required to truly become who you need to be. Nobody ever does real transformation for fun. Nobody ever does it on a dare. You do it only when your back is so far against the wall that you have no choice anymore.”
“work hard for what you want in life and keep that fight - you have to be strong and know that you can do anything you put your mind to; just keep believing in yourself, keep trying, and keep pushing. you can do it.”
