OC question of the week: What is Tracey Alexander’s go-to for offense? Do they use weapons or words, or do they have a certain fighting style?

Definitely words, I would think. Tracey isn’t a big fan of violence, especially after learning about how Karofsky was treating Kurt.

She does know how to defend herself because her father wanted to make sure she could protect herself from any danger. In the end, though, Tracey prefers to cut down someone for size with well-worded arguments (it’s the reason why she and Kate are such good friends).

random oc question: which oc of yours would you most like to give a big hug to?

Oh gosh that’s so hard, I don’t know if I can even pick one!!!

Off the top of my head, I think I’m going to go with Laurel, one of my TW OCs. I just put her through way too much from being an orphan to having to leave her home, but at least she has her aunt, brother, friends, and Liam! It’s the least I can do on my end!

OC question of the week: What would history remember Goldie Hernandez for? How would they become famous?

History will remember Goldie Hernandez as a plus-sized badass who has the voice of a goddess and the mind of a strategist.

But seriously, I believe that Goldie would go down in history as a famous singer who is proud of her body and celebrates all body types at her performances because she is a smart cookie.

OC question of the week: Has anyone ever claimed any of your OCs as their child? How'd your OC feel about that?

Oh basically @daughter-of-melpomene, @dancingsunflowers-ocs, and @ginger-grimm have claimed pretty much all of my OCs as their children, but more specifically my Glee OCs and my TW OCs and the Lewis siblings.

Honestly, I think they’d all love the love at some point or another because Fae, Alexandra, and Anna are the best people I know. I’m sure some of them might be wary at first like Allison, who takes a little bit longer to trust, but in the end she would die for them like anyone else she loves

In honor of the Easter holiday (and @ginger-grimm posting AMAZING edits of them), here are my new Glee children!!

First, we have Kathani “Kate” Arya (fc Ambika Mod)

Kate was born in London to a professor father and reporter mother, so she grew up always being vocal about her beliefs and views. Before she turned sixteen, her father received a job offer for an English professor opening at Ohio State and the family moved to Lima while leaving Kate’s beloved paternal grandfather behind in London. Upon arriving at McKinley, everyone was at first interested in the new student from London. But as soon as Kate began to open her mouth and express her opinions, it solidified her status towards the bottom of the food chain. However, it did bring her to her newfound best friend (and eventual love interest): Tina Cohen-Chang.

Besides Tina, Kate somehow manages to have a “fling” with Quinn that ends their senior year.

Kate is the asexual representation that Glee needs but does not deserve, she is the queen of the dark academia aesthetic (loves thrift stores, museums, used copies of books etc), an EXCELLENT debater, and fluent in French, Hindu, and English.

And now we have Tracey Alexander (fc Jaicy Elliot)

Tracey has lived her entire life in Lima, and as a child, she never could understand why there weren’t more people that looked like her in magazines. Then, when her mother handed her a needle and thread and taught her how to sew, she immediately knew that she wanted to become a fashion designer that celebrates plus sized fashion because all bodies are beautiful.

Mercedes has been her best friend for as long as she could remember (she’s going to be her designer once they become big). Tracey is a proud bisexual woman: she was the one who helped Brittany realize she was bi when the two of them shared a kiss back in the day, and ever since middle school she’s had a bit of a crush on Finn when they were lab partners in science class (Finn too had a crush on her because he was in awe of how bold and brilliant she was).

She wants to go to Paris for fashion school (her dream place), she has a little sister who is an amazing cello player, and there’s a running joke that her mom and Brittany’s mom were twins separated from birth but none of them can see it

Since we’re all currently in a Narnia mood, I’ve thought it was about time I’ve introduced my OCs. They’re twins (and their cousin) living in 1970’s England.

First, we have Feyra.

From a pretty young age, the twins thought that their father had died, so after their mother’s death, the twins discover an treasured story book, while going through her belongings, they have no idea they’re about to enter a land beyond all imagining: Narnia, where they discover that their father is alive and is the ruler of one of the kingdoms among Narnia. While in Narnia, the twins discover that they have elemental powers. Feyra is a cosmic witch, highly aligned with the stars, zodiac, moon phases, etc.

Small details: Feyra is a school teacher in 1970’s England. She is a huge fan of classic film stars, and is really talented at art. She is a Peter ship.

Next, we have August (the other twin)

August is a volunteer at the National History Museum in 1970’s England. He’s autistic, and he is always full of science and history facts. August is an Earth witch. The ground will quake with a single twitch of his finger, and flowers grow wherever he walks. He is an Edmund ship.

Finally, we have Joan (the cousin)

Joan lost their parents from a pretty young age, so the twins always saw them as their little sister. They are a college student who’s struggling with their gender/sexuality (which would be difficult in that particular era). They don’t have powers, but they are very skilled at using weapons. They are the mother to an orphaned wolf named Akela.

INFO DUMP FOR LUCY'S GIRLFRIEND, INFO DUMP FOR LUCY'S GIRLFRIEND

Ahhhh, yes, absolutely, thank you for asking, Greta my darling!! And I will also tag the other Narnia lovelies @luucypevensie, @dancingsunflowers-ocs, @oneirataxia-girl, and @come-along-pond, just in case they want to know more about my new baby!! <3

So, without further ado, I will introduce you to Tamlin, the last surviving witch in Narnia besides Jadis and my other OC Hemera. Her family were Silver Witches, able to use their magic to manipulate the air, and though most of her family was slaughtered by the White Witch along with all the other witches in Narnia when Jadis took over, Tamlin, only an infant at the time was spared, because Jadis remembered hearing a prophecy from another witch before Tamlin was born, stating that a Silver Witch would soon be born with the power to steal the oxygen from people’s blood and the breath from their throats, something no other Silver Witch had been powerful enough to do before. So, when Jadis came across little Tamlin sleeping peacefully in her crib after her entire family had been murdered, she realized that she might have just stumbled across a very powerful weapon, and decided to take Tamlin and raise her as her own, molding her into the perfect instrument of torture for those who crossed her or went against her reign.

And that was the way Tamlin was raised; as a living weapon, the head of the White Witch’s army, a tool in Jadis’s hands, never questioning why she and her “mother” wielded completely different types of magic when that wasn’t the way witch bloodlines worked, simply because she’d never been taught any differently. She hurt whoever Jadis told her to hurt, threatened whoever she was told to threaten, even killed in the name of the woman she called her mother and queen - but she never felt good about it. She hated stealing people’s breath, hurting them and killing them, and when she finally learned about the other witches Jadis had killed and how she had to have been stolen from her true family only to become a weapon, she began to hate her “mother,” and especially herself, as well.

But there was never anything she could do about it - Jadis was much more powerful than she was, and there was no way she, as Narnia’s deadly and feared “princess,” would be able to rally anyone who wasn’t loyal to the White Witch to fight with her. But then the Pevensies arrive in Narnia, and though Tamlin isn’t able to stop Edmund from selling out his siblings without arousing Jadis’s suspicion, and she despises herself for not being able to save Tumnus, she runs away from Jadis in the middle of night, along with a few former members of the White Witch’s army who have wanted to escape, and approaches the camp of the army Aslan has brought together to offer her help. Obviously most people are reluctant to trust her at first, including Edmund since he saw how much Jadis coveted her firsthand, but Lucy speaks up for her, saying that it wouldn’t be fair not to trust her and that they could use her help - and Tamlin, being but a simple baby lesbian who’s never experienced anything close to love since she was a tiny infant with her real family, immediately develops a little puppy love crush on the future queen, though she doesn’t really know that’s what it is at the time and it will take a long while for anything to come of it.

After Jadis is defeated, Tamlin fully expects to be banished or even executed after everything she’s done in Jadis’s name, and certainly there are still many Narnian citizens who would like her to be - but the Pevensies can see how traumatized and deprived and sad she is under all the walls she puts up, and after Aslan voices his approval of her and declares that she has proven herself to be a loyal Narnian, the new kings and queen forgive her of all her crimes and even allow her to continue her role as the head of Narnia’s army. She does refuse to use her magic for a while after Jadis’s defeat, wanting to reject any ties she might have to what she was made to do growing up, but when Lucy tells her that she loves seeing her conjure a breeze and letting her hair blow in it, she does start using it again, if only to make Lucy (and Hemera, who is thrilled beyond belief to actually be around another witch after being alone for most of her life) happy.

As I said, Tamlin struggles with a lot of trauma and self-loathing from her time being Jadis’s tool, and as a result of that, on top of being deprived of any sort of caring beyond Jadis’s twisted version of it, she has a lot of walls up and doesn’t really know how to be close to people. She’s very blunt and gets really awkward when talking to people for extended periods of time, and she really has to learn that violence cannot be the answer to everything - but eventually, she does learn how to forgive herself for the things she had no control over since she was just a child and that was just what she’d been taught, and she actually comes to have her own odd little circle of friends within Cair Paravel… and, eventually, something even more beautiful than friends with a certain youngest queen.

That’s about all I’ll share about her right now, but I definitely look forward to properly introducing her and speaking more about her story and her relationship with Lucy! Again, thanks so much for the ask, Greta!! <3

Background: Born in Beacon Hills, Riley was born to a witch mother and werecoyote father. She was often cast out by her supernatural peers because hybrids were rarely seen in the community, but her parents made sure to make her feel welcome always. Riley met Marlow in day care and they met Mason a year later. The three were best friends until Riley’s parents died in a car accident and she had to go into foster care because her uncle was too young to take care of her. For years she was in and out of foster homes, some worse than others. During this time she learned how to cook and started attending judo classes for protection, as she sternly refused to use any of her powers on humans. Eventually Riley grew tired of the constantly changing homes and started running away and living in several different homeless encampments. She couldn’t fathom why her uncle never came to get her, and was saddened that everyone else seemed to have forgotten about her. Then Marlow surprisingly comes to take her home and Riley is overjoyed. She joins in on the fight against the Dread Doctors and Sebastian Valet, and meets her uncle once more. Then Sebastian kills her and she resurrects without her werecoyote side. Without a siginificant part of her, and with hunters coming to kill every supernatural in the world, Riley must face not only her own demons, but her traumatic past.
