This week we celebrate the "Carnation Revolution" in Portugal. It's on the 25th and it has been 50 years, so there's going to be big celebrations everywhere.
It was the day the dictatorship that had been going on for 40 years ended, and the name is due to the pacific way it all happened. Civilians put carnations in the tips of the army soldier's rifles so they wouldn't shoot anyone, and for some reason until this day no one understands, they succeeded.
Until today, this flower is one of the biggest symbols in this small ocean country.

Anyway, I don't really know why I'm writing this, but I think it's still very important to celebrate these dates and these people. Especially during these dark times we're going through ❤️
ohhh sweetheart. I’m so proud of him for making a tough decision bc it’s the right thing to do long-term for his health & career but. I rly do feel for him.
