This is why the argument of people not caring because they’re so far away and it has nothing to do with them doesn’t work for me. This man is now in america. He is now just states over. All it takes in 2024 is a plane ride for someone across the ocean to then be right here in front of you or for you to be right there in front of them. How can you not care?? And we are all still on the same earth. The internet has connected us more than ever. We need to care about each other and it shouldn’t matter where one lives on this planet.
