movie night
Tumblr media
a/n: im like,, obsessed with twisted wonderland rn, and i simp for leona for no reason, so this is my first post 😃
genre: just straight up fluff.
pairing: leona kingscholar x reader word count: 673 words
“scoot over, herbivore. you’re blocking my view.”
you grumble, reluctantly moving out of leona’s view so that he could watch the movie. “you know i have terrible eyesight, leona, fuck off…”
leona lets out a mocking laugh, crossing his arms and leaning back on the couch.
“shitty eyes. if you have such bad eyesight, then sit somewhere closer to the screen.”
“there is no where that’s closer to the screen, idiot.”
you glare back at him, huffing and settling into your new spot on the floor. you should have known that once leona invited you to have a movie night with him, you wouldn’t just have a peaceful time. he had been demanding and short with you the whole night, not to mention he kept on poking fun at you. hell, he didn’t even let you choose a movie. so now here you were, stuck watching the lion king with the man who reminded you of the villain in the story.
you lean your chin on your hand and stare at the screen with boredom and irritability, sighing as the movie plays out in front of you. suddenly you lurch backwards, letting out a startled yelp as you land on something soft. you glance backwards to see leona embracing you, forcing you to sit on his lap. his vibrant green eyes flicker up to meet with yours and he smirks, causing your face to heat up and your cheeks to redden.
“i’ll allow you to share my spot with me. just this once.”
you stiffen up and whip your head back around to the tv so that he can’t see your embarrassed expression, clicking your tongue and not giving him a response back. the dark brown-haired man chuckles, squeezing his arms around your torso and resting his chin on your shoulder. you inhale sharply and try to wriggle out of his grasp, but he doesn’t budge. in fact, he squeezes you even tighter, and murmurs in your ear.
“i’m not letting go. so get comfortable.”
you let out a weary sigh and try to relax, although there’s still some nervousness that resides in you. leona purrs softly and grabs a nearby blanket, throwing it over your lap and snuggling close to you. you blush furiously and take the blanket in your shaky hands, holding it close to you in order to calm down. the sound of your heartbeat pounds in your ears as you watch the screen. each small movement that leona makes seems to make your heart rate increase, and you anxiously fiddle with your hands.
“why are you so damn fidgety? are you cold or something?” leona clicks his tongue, grabbing another blanket and throwing it over you. you start to protest, but you’re stopped by a warm pair of lips on your cheek. your eyes widen in shock and you turn beet red, letting out a small squeak as leona nuzzles your neck and pulls you closer to his chest.
“relax, stupid mouse…”
as soon as he says this you start to relax, for some reason. your body seems to melt in his arms and you let out a tiny, content sigh, letting him cuddle you as you watched the final scenes of the movie.
“why are you so clingy, you dumb cat?” you grumble weakly, leaning back and glancing at him. the movie ends, and you’re left sitting in silence for a few short moments.
“would you rather me let go? the movie’s over, after all.” leona raises a brow and retracts his arms, making you whine quietly. you feel a sense of emptiness, and an aching urge to cling onto him. after a bit of internal conflict, you sigh heavily and turn around to face him, slowly wrapping your arms around him and burying your face in his shoulder. your face flushes red with embarrassment and you mumble, squeezing him slightly.
“…it’s cold.”
leona blinks with surprise, but soon snickers and pats your back gently, playing with your hair as you snuggle into him.
“yeah, yeah. i know.”

DYNAMIGHT: Bakugou katsuki
Bakugo, a hot headed kid full of hatred. When bakugo was a child he was looked at by all for his "cool" quirk. People around him saw his quirk as cool and bakugo felt as he was so awesome because of all the sheep's that where following him. This moments bought up bakugo and the more it went on bakugo was building a god complex for himself. Deku was a quirkless boy that bakugo liked to pick on for being below him to build his complex. One day, for only one moment when bakugo showed weakness, deku tried helping him. To deku this was right, but to bakugo this was a sign that deku thought he was weak and broke his God complex down. Bakugo is the perfect embodiment of cockyness. He built up his emotions for being looked at, thought since all looked at him he was above them, was bought down by his description of weakness, and was cocky to Everything and everyone that he thought was not as good as him. since bakugo slowly tried to become the hero he wanted to be, while maintaining this above everyone attitude to keep himself going. Recently bakugo has shown to be slowly letting go of "im the best" and developing himself to be a casual as the man he looks up to, All might .

THE FALSE A CLASS: SAITAMA
Saitama, a man born with nothing and grew to something to the point where he didn't want to grow. Saitama was a weak. A powerless man that had to strive for himself in this world where others where alway above him. After these moments saitama realized he had to become better. This was great for saitama because he trained till he had nothing to compare to him and achieved his goal. But, this was also saitamas down fall. He got so powerful that he had no competition. He was the perfect embodiment of Superiority. He sat at the top of the food chain, no one to compare to him, and was all alone. Saitama portrayed Superiority and loneliness and is what drove his character to be "one punch man". Saitama is a comedy while having his cool moments to the point where no one looks into him. Saitama is a perfect balance of character. He has his great comedy relief and his seriousness, his plain portrayal but his deeper meaning. Saitama is also a great balance of a type of character. He is a static character, developing others in his environment, and a dynamic character developing himself to be number 1 but wanting to let it go because of the number 1 gap he has made. Saitama loneliness also comes from what I like to call "mistaken underdog". Saitama is 100% number 1 in his verse but things like the hero organization doesn't see that and ranks him low for what they dont see him do. Saitama isn't seen by the media leaving him in the shadows longer, leaving alone longer. To me saitama is a insanely overlooked character and more people should put thought into him.

Reo's OLD disorder
“Obsessive love disorder” (OLD) refers to a condition where you become obsessed with one person. We see this "disorder" pop up with reo's character many times. To give a little context, reo is a young man that lives in a privileged life and was bounded by the his predecessors to live a life he never wanted to live. All rights, everything was striped from reo. Thats until one day he found a man named nagi who had extraordinary skill in the game of soccer. Reo was obsessed with the game and now had a reason to push away from "the right way" he was meant to live and was able to gain his own freedom in the form of a human being. Sadly on his journey nagi split from reo and reo was left in his whole of emptiness. Reo gained this obsession to pull nagi back that he did all he could. He spent his time in blue lock bot caring for Winning a cup, but winning his ideal form of "freedom". Reo became so blinded by his O.L.D that even when he was in the wrong treating this "rescue" as finding a lost dog. In this case nagi is the lost dog but nothing is more lost then reos embodiment. "When you strip a man of his freedom he loses more one by one until he loses himself" is the words reo is trying to run away from to gain humanity in his own obsessed, cursed and broken mind.

THE GOALIE: Okuhito Iemon
The "underdog" okuhito lemon. While reading blue lock we see the goal keeper lemon pop up here and there. Sadly most of the time we seen him he is failing in his position. Always letting the opposing team score, getting yelled at and put down by others we see nothing much from lemon till something sparks. In one of there most interesting games ever, for the first time it really meant it, lemon blocked a score and gives a motivational talk to the team about pushing them self even even they can't win. From going to a mediocre goalkeeper that couldn't save his team and didn't have much dialog, to a advanced man pushing himself to his limits to play the best for his team and calling the shots after a betrayal to progress the blueprint of what they where left with. okuhito is the perfect embodiment of determination. A man shown weak, below others that shows his real colors when it comes time and reveals that he is a crucial asset in the build of his team. Lemon is "hard work pays off" in human form.

THE FLASH: Chigiri Hyoma
"The best striker" chigiri. The first few times we see Chigiri we see him not work as a player in his team. We soon later learn that he has a reasoning for his play style. We find out if he plays his dreams and goals will end because of a injury he had in his leg while playing soccer. The creators of blue lock usually drew his leg held down with lock showcasing Chigiri is bounded by his weakened limits of his own skin and bones. But with this "lock" Chigiri has no hope and subconsciously falls into the idealistic embodiment of despair. All hope lost, nothing left, his dream taken, and crushed. Chigiri grew a corrupted ideal of wanting to quit because of the little he had left in life. In chapter 20 we see Chigiri question his morals and ideals of despair and his motivation of giving up when he sees himself in isagi. He realizes that isagi doesn't give up no matter what situation and takes from his mindset to implant it into his own. Throughout blue the manga Chigiri breaks what being in blue lock is meant for. Blue lock is supposed to build apon ones ego and fall into the trait of egoism, with Chigiri he parallels the concept of what Blue lock is perfectly. He plays a ego building game, while trying to break his ego more then rebirth into thus new man of what he never wanted to to be with sadly becoming his own worse enemy. The help of isagi, the mental torment, the battle of chigiri and chrigiri, out with the old and in came in a whoel new person breaking his limits in order to achieve his goal. Chigiri clears his mind of his fear of losing his leg to complete achieve his goal of being the best striker and gave up his self preservation to win the game for his team. I feel as Chigiri embodies the concepts of realism and he tackles real life struggles and potrays the concept of self doubt and building yourself to better your life amazingly.

THE MONSTER: Meguru Bachira
The "monster" meguru Bachira. Bachira, a young, close minded individual we were curious of from the start of blue lock. From his fun spirt, to his devilish personality, he caught the heart of many fans fast. As time grew on we learned alot more about bachira and his past. As a child bachira was a fast, strong, smart minded player when it came to the field. This was a take and give for bachira because while he was good, no one cares to play with him. In a world of fulfillment, bachira could not fulfill his emptiness. But suddenly something changes. We see bachiras mother as she is using her skill to make a painting called "monster". Bachiras mother teaches him about his monster and how he can cope with his inner demon and never be alone again. Everything bachira did had a up and a down, first being to good to have anyone, now to having something but being looked at him differently. Bachira lived in his Consciousness for so long he couldn't make contact with humans and was caught doing things like talking to himself. This left bachira more alone then he ever was. Bachira has the goal of forgetting this monster and finding a real thing in life to live for, something that he can adapt to so he can gain basic human life. Bachira expresses if he loses his monster before he can find the way of life, "he will feel so empty he could die". Bachiras goal is to let go of his inner dark side so he can feel human expression and live a normal life. Hes not like everyone wants to be the best striker, he just wants a friend. Bachira portrays the symbolism of nihilism, cynicism, exploration and despair. Bachira a man trying to discover the ways of the normal standards of humanity while feeling a type of emotion of despair. if he can not complete his life moral as he plans, he will lose himself to his inner existential crisis, failing to know the meaning of life . This is why bachira is so connected to isagi. When bachira joined blue lock he looked at isagi as the monster, the light in the black room, a friend. Isagi, the one person he needed to achieve his goal of not being alone. The games go on as we see bachira fight others and himself to gain humanities interest. Meguru bachira, a man living in something that has nothing fighting off the bounderies of standard to achive his own goal of life.
