i took a lot of inspo from this moment from ned but also this theon quote.

she’s got the crown of winter roses upon her head, along with abstract designs of a rose, wolf and a weirwood on the outer dress, as well as a bit of mud and dirt stains from her time as the knight of the laughing tree or just general play in the outdoors — imo lyanna was one of those girls not afraid of a little mud, here she’s a little ashamed of being given the crown (more so of the scandal, her brothers and robert’s rage and all the attention suddenly on her) the picture itself lost a lot of the vibrancy it had when i was drawing but that’s fine, i guess.. i’m not mad or anything (i am)

For a few days it was feared that Storm's End might suffer the same fate as Harrenhal, for Argilac's daughter Argella barred her gates at the approach of Orys Baratheon and the Targaryen host, and declared herself the Storm Queen. Rather than bend the knee, the defenders of Storm's End would die to the last man, she promised when Queen Rhaenys flew Meraxes into the castle to parley. "You may take my castle, but you will win only bones and blood and ashes," she announced...but the soldiers of the garrison proved less eager to die. That night they raised a peace banner, threw open the castle gate, and delivered Lady Argella gagged, chained, and naked to the camp of Orys Baratheon.

Just finished my annual re-read of the many faced god which means it's once again time to gush about how much I love your writing. It's such a special story to me and I'm just in awe of your talent. I hope this doesn't at all come across as pushy, but whether there are any more chapters or not I just have to thank you for putting it out into the world. Cheers!

Thanks for getting in touch, I am glad you enjoy the story enough to be rereading it. I do still plan to write further chapters. I have one drafted and another partially drafted and my plan was to draft about five chapters to cover some events I am excited to write about and then post those chapters every one to two weeks for readers. Those plans stalled because as I said in my reply to the other Anon today I have been so busy with work and have so many writing projects for work and that has been using up all my energy for writing.

2023 was also horrible for me health-wise which meant I didn't have capacity for many things I had wanted to do last year including writing fic.

I do still intend to get those chapters written but i cannot say when at this point.

I have been achieving a lot with my work though so that's a positive.
