This is why they changed the timeline. This is why Percy “failed” the quest. It was to give us the opportunity to see Poseidon choose Percy over choosing his pride. And from the tiny scene we’ve seen of him before this, we knew he would. We knew that Percy mattered more because we saw Poseidon pained and scared and regretful to be apart from his family.

They are defining the gods differently. It’s about Pride, and it’s about Love, and it’s about Family. It’s about “some of us don’t want to be like that either.”

And Poseidon SURRENDERED for his son. Because Zeus was going to continue a war for his pride. And he was going to kill Percy for his pride. And he would have ignored Kronos, too. But there are more important things to Poseidon, and we’ve been able to piece that together throughout this season.

I also like that Percy and Poseidon are basically wearing the same outfit.

And it doesn’t hurt that Toby Stephens (Poseidon’s actor) basically runs the master class for playing the saddest men alive.

For those confused.

What is the difference between graphic novel, manga comics and the terms above. Let me explain how we use certain terms to group things aka catalog things so we find what we are looking for.

Basically to make things easy to catalog we make big analogous groups that take the basics of bunch of things to create categories. From there we use other terms to specify more making subcategories.

Ex. Graphic novels are media in which still images are used to convey a story.

Graphic novels is a term vague enough to allow for everything from comic strips like Snoopy, Garfield, to manga One Piece to webtoons, to comics like Spiderman all to fit under it.

So while all manga are graphic novels, not every graphic novel is a manga.

Note this how most search engines and library catalogs work. It's not putting one culture over another just an attempt to make it easier to find what you are looking for.

If you don't get think of it as family tree, starting from one couple being Graphic novels, their kids being Manga, Comic books, comic strips Manga Manhwa, webtoon etc. Their grandkids from Manga are Shonen, Shojo etc. From there you go into even smaller till you get to indivual media like One Piece.

is it confusing thanks to globalization. As most Library catalogs have not been updated to include new subcategories such isekai or Manhwa. Media is evolving so fast no one can keep up.

Percy: But love? It's almost impossible to go against love. Love is the biggest motivator for doing anything. Have you guys ever tried to fight love? Have you ever tried not to love someone? My dad and Zeus's myths are full of them falling for... well. Almost everyone.

Percy: Have you ever tried to fight someone you really love? Even if you win, it tears you up inside and takes years to recover if you ever do recover.

I wonder if making villians that are played by literal children is a way to make the show's intended audience feel as though they could actually face villian. I just realized that Dahyun looks like Evie from Disney's Descents during the Fancy era. Specifically the the third movie. All Dahyun needs a tiny a crown and she is Evie in her 20s. This makes no sense. How is Mamoru x Usagi toxic. They are equals and both are willing to sacrifice for each other. Mamoru was willing to leave Usagi if it ment she would be safe. Usagi brings out the warmth in Mamoru while Mamoru grounds Usagi. I am so confused by this person's thought process.

Why I LOVE The TOXIC Romance of SAILOR MOON

Yall 

Usagi and Mamo is pretty much a love story about getting a second chance at love and life after your past life was cut tragically short. Which they was able to be reincarnated thanks to a mother’s grief of her daughter and is able to get  second chance at life and love. Then they found out later after building a realtionship which they both chose to be in because they are in love with each other in the present,( and them being together in the past was just a bonus) that they have a life together in the future and a child.

That is the gist without adding all the magical and other logistics to it. 

Stripping it down. 

At it’s core it’s a second chance at love story. 

Why do we make this so complicated? 

Why? 

How many books have there been about reincarnation and getting a second chance at love? 

She was doing ok until she talked about Seiya…

Because she didn’t see what Seiya was doing in the 90′s anime as toxic…
