in my sophomore year of college this guy made these items which quickly became a craze across campus. i myself bought one of his sweaters, which says “GOOD AND DEAD” across the chest and “ARM PAIN” along the sleeves. he showed up at 11 pm on a bicycle to deliver the goods in the dead of winter, wearing a metal t-shirt tucked into khakis. his facebook screen name is an indecipherable series of symbols. i have no authentic way to credit him but i want to share his art with you.

Wow, just noticed yet another instance of a trans women who appears to have had her account nuked for making a post about tumblr's obviously broken and biased moderation system, and the offending post appears to have been scrubbed from the site (I went looking for my reblog from less than a week ago and it's just gone).

Tumblr staff can not have it both ways. You cannot say the blatant instances of anti-trans hate speech and harassment, much of which does get reported, are abhorrent but technically not in violation of the terms of service under the excuse of "free speech" when you are at the same time deleting accounts for merely criticizing how you run this place!

At the risk of having my own account scrubbed I gotta say, that is some stunning hypocrisy. Also, I think the previous sentence demonstrates that this has a chilling effect! The way the TOS is being unevenly applied and the utter lack of clarity on how these decisions get made, makes the rest of us feel afraid to speak up. None of us know where exactly the lines are and it kinda seems like they're drawn and enforced according to staff's arbitrary whims!

ever since my gf and i moved in together a couple years ago i've been semi-regularly executing something i call a "prank night." this is something you want to do frequently enough that it's not a special occasion, but spontaneously enough to make it a prank. the set-up for a prank night is simple

listen to your partner and take note of a couple things she's putting off doing, as well as a couple things she's been wanting

wait for a day when your partner is out of the house for work or errands

tell them that you'll be playing videogames/hanging out with the guys/doing very little all day. this way her guard will be down

now you can execute the four core aspects of the prank night

act of service. complete a chore or task that you know she's been dreading. doing the dishes/cleaning the living room/making an appointment/doing the groceries, etc.

lil gift. flowers, chocolate, anything that you know she wants but hasn't felt justified in getting for herself

sustenance. a charcuterie board, a homecooked meal, her favorite snack, or a fancy cocktail can all work

fourth, final, most important, when she gets home you sit her down and eat her out like she's your last meal on death row
