I’m going to start uploading my reviews and analysis of movies I’ve watched.  Remember that they are just my opinions and I am no way an expert. I’m just a person who loves movies and great storytelling. Hopefully you enjoy them and could possibly help you in film class. 🙂

My rating scale is out of 5 stars. ⭐being a lame/boring and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐being the best movie ever. I will explain my thoughts on why I gave the movie that particular score and in some cases have a separate post about my analysis of the movie. 

Once again this is based on my overall enjoyment of the movie.

Having to explain your existence to someone, telling them why you deserve the most basic human rights or why you should be treated equally is so incredibly dehumanising. It’s something so many people from the Black community have to do right now because people refuse to educate themselves. 

Please read up yourself, don’t expect to be explained everything. If you want to be an ally, make an effort by yourself.

Since I am unable to physicaly join the protests, I will be posting my protest signs sayings here. If anyone is going to the protests please feel free to use these saying.

1. You speak of justice yet you are crule to those most in need of it

2. Blacks have no safety on these streets. We are constantly accosted

3. We the black citizens of America, have been locked up, locked down, caged and shot down. Have been chained and blocked out, left to rot now.

4. Write it in ink or in blood its the same either way

5. I'm past patiently waiting

6. These "bad apples" add up to a ton of rotten fruit

7. Will you ever set our descendents free?

In case you didn't know this...

During the 1964 civil rights movement the media's coverage of these events especially them filming the police brutality against the protesters helped to gain more support of the cause nation wide. Right now the same thing is happening on a much larger scale. The entire country, even other countries are participating. Social media is helping to push this cause even further. So keep posting and filming what's happening at these protests especially what the police are doing. This is a long overdue wakeup call. The world is watching, future generations are watching us. History will remember when silence fell and the people demanded justice.
