Personal head canon is that Ezra would be seen as this super chill, super awesome, super handsome Jedi Knight by the New Republic citizenry EXCEPT for his deranged attachment to using ‘Jabba’ as an alias.

You search his name on the Holo-Net and Jabba’s pic comes up. That’s how often he uses it. (Ezra is delighted by this; Sabine decidedly less so.)

PART ONE (of three):

Dear Church of Ezrabine,

Your Prophet has been studying the sacred canon text of “The Rebellion Begins,” examining all of the shippy moments in light of the revelations of Ahsoka Season 1.

Guess who else made that tower her home. Remember Sabine’s Tower of Depression and Longing?

The Lothal Tower serves as a Widow’s Walk, in Earthly architecture, an elevated walkway for a wife to search the horizon for her seafaring (or in this case, spacefaring) husband’s ship coming in to port. Sabine has kept vigil there for a decade or more, hoping some sign of Ezra’s return.

Back to the novelization…

The description of Ezra’s appearance is made from Sabine’s point of view:

Sabine thought Ezra was funny from the day she met him. She still thinks that.

Sabine took off her helmet and it instantly cured Ezra’s headache. 😂

Ezra deepened his voice, trying to sound older. 😏

Also, Zeb needs some mouthwash. 😂
