My last drawing tutorial was back in 2017, whoa, welp it looks like my drawing skills have gotten better. Since I have some more spare time, I will be doing new/updated art tutorials revisiting some of my previous topics.

Parentlock with Rosie - part 4

The Rules of Deduction (as observed by Rosie M. Watson) by togethertheyfightcrime, 8 k, gen. Rosie Watson has a dad who’s a doctor and blogs cases. She has a Sherlock who’s her godfather and a consulting detective. She has Mrs. Hudson who lives downstairs, and Molly who’s a doctor for dead people, and Uncle Mycroft who’s the government, and Uncle Greg who brings cases. And they’re the best family ever, even though Sherlock’s the only one who agrees that Rosie should’ve been named for him.

Old Sins, Long Shadows, and Cake by DestielsDestiny, 6 k, teen. It was Rosie’s third birthday. The birds were singing, the cake was frosted, the balloons escaping into the sky. It was a perfect day at Musgrave Manor. In the after of everything that came before, John talks to Violet, a father to a mother, and some hard truths are shared.

Lady Parts by Etaleah, 14 k, teen. Parenthood is always tough, but being two men raising a daughter comes with a unique set of challenges.

Box of 64 series by notjustmom. Parentlock. Imagine a world where Sherlock goes into a toy store and buys Rosie a box of 64 crayons…

Three of us by Salambo06, 2 k, explicit. He leans in as soon as he’s close enough, kissing Rosie’s forehead softly, murmuring a quiet “Morning love.” John isn’t sure what happens next, but he leans in towards Sherlock and kisses his temple with a smile.

instruction manual not included by JenTheSweetie, 8 k, mature. The next day, they very distinctly did not mention it. Sherlock was almost entirely certain that all he felt about that was relief.  For a genius, Sherlock sure has trouble figuring out his best friend.

Everything Here is Just Ducky by Ragazza_Guasto, 3 k, teen. Sherlock handed Rosie her bee, acknowledged John’s inability to work the pram without comment and, again, together they managed to get everything settled for a day out. They’d always been a well-oiled machine and parenting was just another side of it.

A Family Trait by intricatearticulation (chemma66), 12 k, explicit. Set post-S4, John is back at home with Rosie in Baker Street. An emergency shift at the clinic forces John to trust Sherlock to watch her. Sherlock does his best and John makes a mistake, but everyone is happy in the end.

Lullaby by janto321 (FaceofMer), 2 k, explicit. When Sherlock overhears John singing to Rosie, well, it seems to be the final step in a long journey.

The Dilemma of the Watson Bedroom by jemariel, 7 k, teen. Sherlock hates the name Rosamund. John wanted to call her Katherine. Sherlock thinks it suits her. Meanwhile, he and John are orbiting ever closer together. Sherlock tries not to wonder how long he will have them here, all three of them together in 221B.

It’s their first Christmas back in 221B, and while Sherlock is away for a few days right before the holidays, John buys a tree on a whim and sets about turning his life around once and for all. A bit of angst, a lot of fluff, and the first day of the rest of their lives.

Dropping the Act by jadztone, 27 k, teen. Sherlock and John are quite happy living with Rosie in Baker St. They might be even happier if they weren’t pretending their love is only platonic.

Small Sacrifices by befree2, 3 k, mature. Five times that Sherlock made small sacrifices for Rosie and the one time that John realized it was all for him.

Double Bluff by nottoolateforthegame, 4 k, teen. Sherlock overhears a conversation between John and his daughter, leading to big changes at 221B.

The Last Time Alone by MissDavis, 2 k, explicit. But it wasn’t enough, not for John. He needed more. He needed someone to hold besides a child, and someone to kiss on the lips and not just the top of the head.
