Hey,
I was just curious if you’re still alive.
Omggg hey man it's been a while I hope you're okay. How's you?
Yes, I'm still kicking lol
I have no idea how it's been over a year since I touched this blog 😭 gosh
Main reason I've been inactive is school got hectic asf. I think my last post was August? I was moving on to my final year then so I was studying hard asf. It was all worth it though my final grades are 🤌
Plus i couldn't think of a part 2/continuation to my last post and I felt very guilty and I guess I procrastinated very hard and just did not post again 😭
Also I haven't been on genshin in months or been in the community much either. I got bored of the archon quest (the one with nahida just after the whole recurring festival thing) and could not put myself through it so I can't continue the game 😭 And my storage will not let me update the game 💀
So I'm very behind on genshin, and my writing skills have actually gone to dust in the months I haven't written.
But if you have any character you'd like me to write for I can do my best to write something. I honestly can't promise anything but I will try and make it as good as can be.
Oh actually, I just checked my drafts and I have some stuff in here I could probably polish and post if you're interested.
Anyway, it's so nice hearing from you man. Seeing your likes/comments/reblogs last year was honestly the highlight of this blog. Really made me happy and got me smiling irl. Seeing you've still got my Yae piece pinned after all this time? I can't put into words how much that means. It's so nice to see you're still around too.
Thanks for asking how I've been despite it being so long. I hope life has been good for you this last year too
All good things your way,
Mari x

Ignorance Was Bliss | Genshin Impact x Reader | SAGAU
[It's only after you find out the truth that you realise you would have been better off being clueless.]
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Characters: Zhongli (mentioned), other archons and people briefly mentioned
Genre: SAGAU, anxious reader, cutting and bleeding but nothing graphic, general SAGAU warnings and tags
Perspective: 2nd person for reader
Word count: 992 (spelling and grammer haven't been checked so please forgive me)
Tumblr media
Perhaps, it was better if you didn't try to confirm the truth. After all, your so called subjects were adamant that you were their creator, the prime god. Why shouldn't you believe them?
But no matter how happy they were as they celebrated your return with festivals and parties and feasts, that didn't stop the hollowed pain in your stomach as you watched on. It didn't stop the anxiety bubbling in your heart as you offered your strongest smile to the people, despite how helpless you felt.
You stood in your supposed bedroom, a room so large that even the platter of your feet against the cold marble floor echoed at least three times. Almost everything was covered in gold, to the curtains on the canopy bed to the exquisite patterns on the marble floor and the rug your toes were clenching onto in an attempt to ground yourself, to hold on to whatever rationality you had left.
This was room meant to be yours, but it felt too grand, too regal for someone like you. What made you more uneasy was the fact Zhongli was the one who had to drop you off at your abode, after you nervously announced you were unsure how to do it yourself. The three archons thought nothing of it, too eager to jump at the oppurtunity to help their divine creator in any way they can - it was possibly the only good thing that happened today, the fact that they didn't grow suspicious.
Zhongli, or rather Morax, had told you that he was the one responsible for upkeeping your abode. He also told you that he was the one who designed everything from the infastructure to the furniture, just to your liking, just as he knew you would.
But he was wrong. Nothing in this space was to your liking. The bedding was much softer than you prefered, the desk was in an odd place in your eyes, and the flower that grew in a teapot by the windowsill was your second favourite flower, not your first.
All these reasons made you suspect you weren't the person they were looking for. And who knew what would become of you if they found out you weren't.
No, you did know. All those fanfictions you read made it very clear.
You would be killed.
That conclusion made you feel ill, and you clutched on to your knees as the world spun around you. You tried to shake out of your stupor, trying to convince yourself that it wasn't possible for you to be an imposter, for you would have been slained the moment you stepped foot on the land.
The playable characters were so sure it was you who was controlling them, taking them to different nations as you blessed them with your powers and made them grow stronger. And it had to be true - you raised every single character you got and always made sure to use them regularly. If they recognised your presense, then surely you were the creator.
But what if you weren't?
Your stomach lurched as you slapped your hand over your mouth, shaking. You turned your head to the bags and bags of offerings you had received just in the past day, just the ones Morax was able to carry over to your abode. You recalled an offering of a sword from the calvary captain, who said he wanted it to serve as a reminder he has always battled in your name and would always be ready to be your sword should you need it.
A sword.
Whatever force made you recall that you had a sharp weapon in your room also compelled you to stumble over to the bags. You tore them open, pouring out the contents in search of the Harbinger of Dawn. Primogems, mora, food, and other things fell to the ground as your hurridly searched for the blade. Each of the items felt cold against your hand, nothing like the warm reception the people of Tevyat had given you.
The moment you found a sword you sighed out in relief, but was immediatly hammered with agitation.
Should you do this? Should you really be doing this?
You scrambled away from the offerings, returning to the centre of the room. The room was also beginning to feel cold, unwelcoming.
As you hugged yourself and rubbed your skin in an attempt to soothe your goosebumps, you made the mistake of gazing out of the window.
There, outside your abode in celestia, was a grand statue erected upon the clouds. The statue had your physique, garbed in a pure chiton. Your eyes followed up the statue to the top of it, where you saw your face etched into the stone. It looked exactly like you, from the shape of your nose to the size of your lips. Its eyes were facing the window, practically staring at you.
Why did its gaze make your skin burn, as though demanding you to leave?
That was your final straw. That feeling was enough to push you to place the metal against your palm.
This was the only way, you told yourself, the only way to prove whether your feelings were caused by some sick imposter syndrome or a true gut feeling.
With a shaky breath, you clenched your eyes shut as you slashed your skin.
The sting was so raw, so real, so human. Even if the archons said that you had merely incarnated into a human form, surely the divine creator would not subject themselves to human pain and return in their true form instead.
Did that mean...?
It took you many shaky breathes and many self-assurances for you to open your eyes.
And you opened your eyes, to see the warm liquid from your fresh cut trickle down the sword, meander down and around your hands and wrist and drop down to the white rug beneath you, staining it red.

As soon as this came to my mind, I wrote it in like thirty minutes. And I like it enough to post it straight away. Crazy.

Best To Worst Immortal To Spend An Unbearably Hot Day With | Genshin Impact x Traveller! Reader
[Its hottest day recorded in Tevyat's history. The best to worst immortal to spend that day with.]
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Characters: Albedo (+Klee), Venti, Zhongli, Ei + Raiden Shogun, Xiao, Yae Miko, Ganyu
Genre: Fluff, headcanons
Perspective: 2nd person for reader
Word count: 2199 (don't even ask me how this happened)
Tumblr media
ALBEDO
Your best bet if you want to stay cool
He'll be sure to make some cooling equipment. If you tell him about electrical fans, he would be able to make a pretty good replica using his flowers
Since Klee has a pyro vision, I imagine she gets especially hot during the summer so Albedo would be pretty used to dealing with the heat.
I don't see Albedo himself getting too hot though, so he probably still wears his normal clothing.
Its fine, you and Klee can rock the summer outfits (or you can also stick to your normal outfit)
As Albedo is making the cooling fans, you take it upon yourself to use your anemo powers to cool both you and Klee
It actually turns out pretty fun. She ends up convincing you to blow out air at enough speed to mess up both of your hairs
So as you two are giggling together, Albedo comes in, looks at you two, before sighing and creating combs and brushes
Albedo has glorious hair, he definitely knows what he's doing. He sorts out both of you two's hair as he starts up his little artificial fan
It's his flower that he always creates, being used as an oscillating fan
10/10 amazing fan. Not too loud, adds a small hum to the background that you only really notice if you focus on it. Its also very pretty
As Albedo fixes up your hair (he insisted, as he fixed up Klee's it was only right he did yours) he thanks you for keeping Klee entertained. Else, Mondstat would probably be on fire right now
You teach Klee how to make paper fans, and she designs each one for you three. Hers is of course Dododo based of course. Albedo will be based on being the 'bestest big brother ever' and his creations. Yours will have something to do with your anemo abilities and being the 'best sibling ever' (obviously, we can't top Albedo so we get second place)
They are very colourful, and are pretty good fans. She just wanted to be like her brother, so please thank and praise her
Poor girl tries to go fish blasting because she wants to be in charge of dinner
You have to stop her, you aren't trying to start the Great Fire of Mondstat after all
Go for a swim instead. Albedo has you sorted out for sunscreen too, so enjoy the waters to your heart's content
If it gets way too hot, you go to his campsite in Dragonspine, and he'll make an artificial sort of summer in there for all three of you to enjoy. Fake sand, fake sun etc. It's much cooler, but just as enjoyable
GANYU
Cryo vision is godsent
Cool drinks, ice pack, cool towels: name it and you have it
You have to pull her into the tea pot. Even though she has a day off (Or rather, a few hours. Ningguang knew hardly anyone would be productive during the hottest hours of the day, so she sent most people home), she can't help but worry about the files she has on the tables every time she passes them
But she makes sure not to leave any files in your Serenitea pot so it's a perfect escape for her
As soon as she settles into the 'no work right now' mindset, she's determined to make you cool as possible
She's half human so she can relate to your struggles better than the other immortals
She makes a giant ice flower in the middle of the room, and it doesn't even melt at all
You use your anemo to blow the cold around the room, like an air conditioner
The air is now a crisp kind of icey air. Just too good
Though its a bit of an active process you both need to do continuously
You use the cryo as an opportunity to make ice cream, a fun little bonding activity for you both
She will definitely enjoy the ice cream, and when you return to the kitchen after a nap, you will find an assortment of ice creams
Ganyu was only meant to make a couple, but she ended up making all sort of ice cream
Mint, sweet flower, violet grass - you name it
Pick a favourite, she will make it for you as much as you like
If you ask, she will place her palms on your head. She's naturally cooler, after all so she's better than ice cubes.
Overall, very good time spent with her!
VENTI
Everyone everyone everyone
Now that I have you attention: you know how hot air rises?
And how venti is the anemo archon?
Let's assume he's made out of air
The poor boy just keeps floating up.
Your talking to him one second, look over and he's on the ceiling the next second:
"I really can't help it Traveler!" he whines as he pushes himself off the ceiling. He tries to grab onto the couch and misses, and is forced to grab onto the table. Even that is not enough to keep him on the ground. "None of these things can help hold me down! You have to help me Traveler!"
"How can I help?"
Venti: *cheeky grin*
And that's how you got stuck with venti latching on to you. Whether you let him loop his arm in yours, or you let him hold your hand, he's ecstatic
(This, this I want to extend into a fic on its own if I can)
He doesn't even care if your sweaty, or you smell musty. He just wants to be close to you.
Still, being with the anemo archon during a hot day has its perks
You never have humid air with him. The air is always so perfect and cool. It's brilliant
Your drinks never go warm either.
He uses his anemo powers to blow wind through your clothes just to cool you down entirely because unlike everyone else, he can cool you down pretty passively without lifting a finger
To thank you for holding him down, he takes you to Windrise when the hottest hours have passed.
As you lay back and enjoy the shade, he plays some ballads about summer, games, and all sorts
He does pause in between them, to admire you, before returning to singing his songs
I would recommend him if you don't mind him being clingy
XIAO
He is judging you so hard lmao
"You claim to immortal, yet you crumble from a bit of heat?"
Melt is a better word than crumble, but we digress
He is sweating as well though, don't doubt it.
When his judging eventually becomes pity (which is pretty quick), he takes you to a bit of a hidden gem in Liyue
A little cave behind a waterfall. It's much cooler than the outside, it has the perfect shade, and the water in the cave passes as a pool you absolutely take advantage of
Xiao planned to watch you from afar, but you dived in and nearly splashes him, much to his annoyance.
You then ended up taking his hand and tugging him in the water
Was not happy at first, but he likes how nice the water feels against his skin so he doesn't complain too much
You also seemed to be feeling better, so he thinks it was worth it
The two of you have little water fights in said pool, both of you using your anemo abilities to cheat.
When you tire out, you both just sit by each other in the water
You thank him, for saving you from melting
He tells you you are being dramatic
But he also tells you, should you wish to return here at any time, you simply need to call his name
You should spend a hot day with him, everyone. Less clingy than Venti, though he's a bit slow in helping
ZHONGLI
Knowledgeable, but hasn't actually experienced heat as a mortal until now
As Morax, he would usually just sleep off the heat, so he has never had the need to actively cool off
However, as Zhongli, he is struggling
Instead of him helping you out, you have to help him out first
Zhongli, for the love of mora, take the coat off
(Feels like a fanfic waiting to be written here. I'll try and make it happen)
He doesn't want to initially. For many reasons, one being he is low-key attached to the coat.
Since it's you though, he does take it off.
Following this, Zhongli is cool enough to actually deliver his fine wisdom
He makes sure both of you hydrate regularly. Especially you, even though he knows you can handle himself, he doesn't want the heat getting to you
He also gets the both of you to put ice on pulse points. Your wrist, and the side of your neck. He says that's how people used to cool down when high temperatures like this was much more common.
This also leads to many stories, how during the especially hot days he would seek permission from Barbatos to allow the Adepti to dig up snow from Dragonspine and then distribute the cold among the people
Both of you also have iced tea.
I think he would have hated the idea initially, believing it to be blasphemy to the art of tea.
Tea is to be brewed and served hot. Why on earth would someone willingly make it cold-
However, one sip and he's sold
In summary, once he's cool enough to think, he would be a good person to seek out
YAE MIKO
You are kind of on your own
You know how smaller organisms have a larger surface area to volume ratio? So have a higher rate of heat loss?
(Yes I am bringing Biology into this)
Yeah, Miko goes into fox form and just sleeps on a pillow in the cooler corner of the room to sleep the heat off
And she will not let you go near her
But you know what? Its actually better this way
Human form miko during hot summer days is kind of a pain to deal with
And I don't mean she's just whining and whinging
I mean her electro vision
The heat and humidity is kind of making her overload, your getting electric shocks just being in her presence
She claims it isn't her fault, but you are beginning to suspect she's using her electro to keep you at a 2 meter radius away from her
But she could have just told you straight - its too hot to cuddle anyway. But this is Miko, so it's expected.
When the sun is a bit more bearable, you both spend the evening resting in the shade of the Sakura tree at the shrine.
Pack a picnic while your at it. She'll be content with just tofu. She has told you how to make it before, so get on with it
You bring what you please. If you look away though, you might turn back and notice bits of your meal missing
Turn to glare at Miko, who is obviously chewing your food but insists it is her tofu
Watch the sunset. It will be very pretty: pink filling the skies and as pool of golden light from the sun begins to dip below the horizon. Take pictures with the Kamera - take pictures of her and with her too while you are at it
(another fic????)
10/10 recommend - the view, at least. Everything else though, spend the hot day with someone else
RAIDEN SHOGUN & EI
I'm sorry but they are almost useless
Ei hasn't experienced summer in centuries, and the Shogun probably has an inbuilt cooling system
They don't know what you are feeling, so they can't exactly help much
Ei asks the commission for various things to cool you down: she is presented with cold water, a hand fan, and more summer appropriate clothes
So the pair of you lounge about in the shade of Tenshukaku, in summer clothing
As the Raiden Shogun fans you (she insisted and you really can't fight against her will), you make a throw away comment about wishing it rained or something
Unfortunately for you, both of them caught that comment and took it very seriously
They figured that if you wanted rain, they could make a small thunderstorm. Easy right?
Queue the worst thunders in Inazuma history
You have to explain to them that heat makes thunders way worse.
It was so bad, they struggled to contain the storm.
(Feeling a whole fanfic here)
It did rain though, but the thunderstorm was a bit too wild. Even you didn't want to go out there.
Essentially, so it was a complete fail
Ei is so embarrassed, Raiden apologizes for her miscalculation.
Please forgive them. They were trying their best
She asks how she can make it up to you after the storm passes
Cold Dango milk
Even though it was meant to be yours as an apology, Ei can't help but drink two, five, ten of the 30 she had gotten you
Raiden Shogun switches her out quickly though, and hurries you into finishing it before Ei succumbs to her cravings again
If you spend a hot summer day with them, good luck
TLDR of best to worst: Albedo, Ganyu, Venti, Xiao, Zhongli, Yae, Ei/Raiden Shogun
Tumblr media
Have you seen the weather forecast and how hot it's gonna be? I'm actually screwed.
Stay cool and hydrated everyone!
Thanks for reading.

I would love to see the part 2 of innocent indulgence! I hope you can get it to your liking one day
Thank you anon!!
I'll likely just write something else for part 2, and kind of recycle what I wrote into a little something else.
The reason I didn't like was probably because of flow, throughout the fic itself and how it was linked to Innocent Indulgence. I see myself just rewriting it as a sort of stand alone instead, and taking bits from it when I write part 2 again.
Either way, I'll see what I can do. Thank you for your words of motivation anon 🙏
Have a good day!

Selfish Wishes | Yae Miko x Traveller! Reader | Genshin Impact
[For the first time in five hundred years, Miko doesn't know what to wish for on her birthday.]
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Genre: Fluff, angst, kisses
Characters: Yae Miko, Ei mentioned
Perspective: 2nd Person for reader.
Word Count: 1738
Tumblr media
Miko had a strained relationship with her birthday. It got a little boring after the first fifty, redundant for the next fifty, then bitter when Ei left.
She used to be utterly miserable on the days leading to her birthday and the days after it had passed. Ei's birthday was the day before hers, after all, and she had no reason to happily celebrate if the person she had cared about the most wasn't around.
What made it worse was when the young Miko, the hopeful and utterly foolish young Miko, had began to make it her birthday wish for Ei to come back. Every birthday, she would whisper her wish to the moon. It was a habit Miko couldn't let go off, despite how hopeless everything seemed. It was a habit she repeated five hundred times.
But Miko never expected her last birthday to be the last time her birthday wish would be spent on wishing for Ei's return. Now, she had Ei back and even more, she had you. There was nothing else she could wish for, or rather, she had never considering wishing for anything else on her birthday.
With all this in mind, it was understandable Miko was shocked when you wished her happy birthday. You had asked to her stay up until midnight without telling her why, making it your mission to gently nudge her awake whenever she blinked and had closed her eyes a little too long for your liking. She never expected all this was so you could be the first to tell her those simple two words.
You were like a child, a childish being who found joy in the simplest of things. Still, Miko couldn't deny the flutter she felt when you told her those words. You were essentially saying you were glad for her existence, yes? Of course it made her heart react a little.
Miko didn't even have a chance to reply to, when you followed up with a question. "What is your birthday wish?"
The kitsune only faltered for a moment, but was quick to recover and quipped back at you. "Birthday wish? Dear, haven't I told you before? I already have everything I want and more." She looked at her nails, trying to look as nonchalant as possible with your gaze on her.
But you were good. You had learnt to read her in a way few people have learnt to. "You want something though."
Even if she didn't say it, you could tell she wasn't overly fond of her birthday. It was almost strange for the extravagant Yae Miko to want to do nothing for her birthday. You half-expected for her to have organized grand parties and all sorts of lavish events to celebrate, but there was nothing. You didn't mind though, it meant as soon as you were free, you could spend the rest of the day together. The only thing you wanted to do for her was grant her any wish she wanted, if she would let you.
Miko faltered again. You said it like it was a statement. An obvious fact that even a fool could work out.
"I'm a star, I have a sense for these things." You leaned back against the bed, looking up at the ceiling. "If you can't think of anything right now, don't worry. It can be as small or as grand as you wish." You sighed, a small smile on your face when you turned to her. "Be selfish, the most selfish you can be on your birthday. I won't mind what you wish for." Once again, you don't give her much of a chance to process your words when you stretch your arms out to the side. "Let's sleep now, we're both exhausted."
As usual, Miko fell into your arms for a cuddle and the two of you snuggled in bed as the lamp was turned off.
Unlike the usual, Miko did not nod off with you as time passed. She spent the rest of the night thinking over your words.
'Be selfish.'
She thought you meant in the morning, right before you left for commission. Miko almost reached for your arm, and pulled you back into bed to sleep with you more.
But she didn't, it wasn't what she wished. Instead, Miko watched as you finished getting ready for the day.
"I'll meet you at the shrine later." You told her as you kissed her cheek before waving goodbye and leaving her to her thoughts.
'The most selfish you can be.'
Apparently, Miko was a pretty selfless person seeing as she couldn't find a way to be selfish. She spent the day racking her head over what you asked of her, even the shrine maidens recognized that she was distracted and tried to avoid disturbing her.
Miko found herself wondering 'how does one be selfish on their birthday?'. All her previous birthday wishes were used for someone else's wellbeing. She didn't know what else to wish for.
It finally clicked when Miko saw you. She was resting against the railing of the balcony when she spotted you in the forest as you were in the middle of a commission.
With her sight, she easily saw and made you out despite how far away you were. But all of a sudden, she suddenly wanted you by her side at that very moment. She missed your scent, the softness of your hair, the feel of your skin.
All of a sudden, she knew what she wanted.
Only a few hours passed until you finished your final commission and you were teleporting to the shrine. You made sure to take your time so Miko would have enough time to consider what she wanted. Call it some sort of lovers bond, but you knew the exact moment she figured out what she wished. You didn't know what exactly she wished for though, so you were undeniably curious.
Had you payed a bit more attention to your surroundings, you would have noticed the lack of shrine maidens right away. There was no bustling of visitors or whispers of prayers, because Miko had sent them all away. There was only the rustling of the leaves from the wind, and the warm smell of lit candles.
Miko stood in the centre of the shrine, right in front of the sakura tree. It was clear she had been waiting for you, and clear she now had a wish in mind.
You stopped before her, crossing your arms as you met her gaze. "I sense you have a birthday wish."
"Astute as ever, beloved." She tried to hide her growing smirk behind her fingers.
You didn't notice, only eagerly nodding. "Okay - tell me and I'll grant it."
In a blink, Miko had her wish. One moment, you had been standing before her. The next, your back was pressed against the Sacred Sakura, each of Miko's hands beside your head. Her eyes glinted ever so menacingly as she watched your every move.
The way your mouth fell open ever so slightly, and the widening of your eyes was delicious. She loved seeing you so caught of guard, the great traveler and hero of three nations, nothing but a flustered mess ensnared between her arms.
But Miko knew how to savor a meal. Things are always sweeter when you wait longer, she chanted in her head as she dragged her lips down your neck with soft kisses. You almost jolted at the touch, but moved your head out of the way to give her more room regardless. How kind of you.
She made sure to reward you, gently nipping away at your skin. It was intriguing how the slightest changes in the pressure or length of her kisses on your neck could make you sing a different tune. Every noise you made was a melody to her ears, it put the bards and wandering poets of the world to shame compared to you.
Miko inhaled before she moved her head up, meeting your eyes. She leaned down until her breath was tickling your lips. She leaned forward the slightest bit more, her lips merely ghosting yours.
Then she stayed still.
A moment passed, then another until you realized the game she was playing. In desperation, you tried to lean in and chase after her lips, but Miko swiftly pulled away.
You pouted. "Miko, don't tease me." You muttered, eyes moving down to her lips as your heart longed for you to kiss them.
The kitsune only laughed, her pink hair bouncing gleefully as she did. "Didn't you say you wouldn't complain about my wishes? Don't go back on your word now."
Your frown deepened. "That wasn't my exact wording," You sighed, however, knowing you were in for a long tease.
Miko cooed, rubbing her thumb against your lips. That would be the only direct touch your lips would get for a long time. "Don't be too salty now, my dear." She licked her lips as she leaned in and whispered in your ear. "I have a preference for sweeter things, after all."
True to her promise, Miko spent countless time teasing you. So long, even the moon had began to make its appearance, and she still continued to suck and gnaw away at your skin.
The kitsune only relented when you reached the peak of your frustration, tears almost beginning to form from the corner of your eyes just from how many times you have been denied her lips.
"Save the best to last. That's what the humans say, yes?" She asks when she finally pulled away from your neck, taking a moment to admire her work of bruises and love bites on your heavily worshipped skin.
As you opened your mouth to reply, Miko is on your lips. She's hungry in her kisses, holding your cheeks to push you closer as she leaned in more. Each kiss is calculated, hitting all your weak points and leaving you shaking at the knees.
Between each kiss, she muttered some words before going in for more. Her soft lips made your head hazy, her canines and tongue sent you over the edge. Still, you manage to make out what she is saying between every huff and every kiss.
"Mine." She growled softly against your lips. "All mine." Miko declared, to you, to her, and the world, before sealing her lips once more.
Tumblr media
I just wrote this all in like an hour so forgive any grammar mistakes. I've also started to slip into the 'I hate everything I write' hole and I'm desperately trying to climb out.
I had a whole 3500 word part 2 to innocent indulgence I decided I didn't like so didn't end up posting. If I had ended up posting it, it would have happened to be on Miko's birthday? What a crazy could-have-happened coincidence. When I realized it was Miko's birthday and I wasn't gonna post the part 2, I was like ajdskjb I need to write a fic right the heck now.
Unfortunately, I couldn't draw much inspiration from her birthday letter and I wasn't even entirely sure how Miko would spend her birthday.
But ay, we have this now, many many days later so it worked out in the end. Though, I also hope I can do something the my 3500 fic, enough that I'm happy to post it.
Thanks for reading!

Birthday Wishes | Xiao x Traveller! Reader | Genshin Impact

Fandom: Genshin Impact
Genre: Fluff. A bit of angst? Majority Fluff
Characters: Xiao
Perspective: 2nd Person for reader.

Xiao never expected a semblance of peace in his long life. He had long since came to terms with his fate so Xiao simply bared and moved on. However, on this day, he waited. He waited for you - the one who became his peace.
There was a strange sort of adrenaline in his blood. He was not in battle, yet his heartbeat was loud in his ear and he could feel himself sweating. He wasn't someone to pace around, but every hour or so, he would walk to the end of the Wangshu Inn balcony to gaze over at Mondstat, where you have had commissions over the day. Xiao couldn't stop thrumming his fingers against his arm either.
Those crystalflies he had sent you... would you like them? He did not lie in the letter when he wrote that he ended up collecting more than he intended.
While finding the crystalflies, the thought of you was like clouds in his head. It was distracting, but it wasn't unpleasant as it made him feel lighter.
Thinking of you was also akin to the sea. Every memory he had of you, from conversations to your rare smiles, they just kept coming and coming. It was strange, but wasn't unwelcomed.
You brought an abundance of goodness where ever you went, he figured gifting you with a surplus amount of cyrstalflies would be a drop in the ocean of things you deserved. He also caught the crystalflies with the intention to give it to you, so he refused to go back on his words.
He had given you the letter personally, while your commission lead you to the Mondstat-Liyue boarder. You had been surprised for a moment, but recovered quickly. You thanked him with a small smile and was about to open it then and there. But he stopped he you.
"Do not open it now. Open it later, when you are free, and when I'm not around."
You were perceptive, scarily perceptive at that. The moment you began opening the letter, the strange adrenaline had began to flood him again, but as soon as he stopped you it stopped. Perhaps you understood what the adrenaline was, and knew that listening to his request would help. It did.
It had been hours since then, and he had felt your presence in Liyue about five hours ago. You were yet to call him, or approach him. He said to himself he would always wait for you, but even he was beginning to grow uneasy.
Xiao walked to the other end of balcony, to the side that faced Liyue harbour.
He was beginning to long for you. Perhaps more than that. Just when would you call him? When would you-
"Xi-"
Before you could finish his name, Xiao appeared before you.
You were sat on a blanket on the grass, a large bowl of almond tofu in front of you. This part of Liyue was a beautiful, with the curled grass rocking with the wind, and the sunlight wasn't so harsh here. For some reason though, this particular spot with you being present seemed breath-taking today.
The letter he wrote to you was cradled in your hands. The sight made his heart thump, and it only thumped more when you gave him a small smile to greet him.
"Happy Birthday, Xiao." For some reason, when you said it, it made his heart clench. "You said you had nothing to really do today, so I thought we could have a little picnic. Though, almond tofu is the only thing on the menu." You trailed off, thrumming your finger against your cheek. Should you have made more?
"There was no need to go through the effort of doing this for me. What you have already troubled yourself with is enough." Xiao spoke up, breaking you from your thoughts.
Xiao felt relief when your frown vanished. "I'm glad you like it. Please sit with me, and enjoy."
He perched himself opposite you, taking the chopsticks and gazing over at the meal. Just looking at it was enough to fill him, the glistening herbal liquid and the soft and white tofu certainly wasn't the same he had at Wangshu Inn, but it was more than enough. "Did you make this yourself?" You nodded, explaining you used Xiangling's kitchen before he hummed. "I thank you for the food." He added, before digging in.
Xiao ate, and you watched on. He was half way through the dish before he paused and looked up at you.  "Do you have nothing to eat?"
"I don't." You shook your head, but quickly spoke again to assure him. "I did eat in Mondstat, so I'm not hungry."
"That was hours ago. You must be at least somewhat hungry."
"I'm not that hungry- wait, how did you know?"
Xiao ignored your question. "You brought another pair of chopsticks, didn't you?" He pushed the bowl closer to you. "Eat with me." Sensing your protest, he added. "This is a request."
You fell quiet for a moment, before murmuring a quiet 'as you wish' and taking out your chopsticks. Though you were initially very reluctant to eat your gift to Xiao, as soon as you had one bite, you were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. "It's good." You didn't actually taste it yourself, after all. You relied on Xiangling's approval.
"You should enjoy the fruits of your labour, after all." He said, taking another bite.
That comment made you gaze over at Xiao with a soft expression. "You've also worked hard over the past year. You deserve to enjoy your birthday as well."
Xiao immediately looked down, the tips of his ears turning red. He said nothing as he continued eating the almond tofu.
After you both finished, you set aside the empty cutlery, and brought up the letter. "The crystalflies - thank you. I appreciate them."
Xiao suddenly felt a giant weight lifted off his shoulders. So you had liked them after all.
"Though," You continued, and Xiao immediately tensed again. Did you not like them after all? "There are too many for them all to go in my hair. Please let me share them with you."
"No." Xiao replied in an instant. "There are for you, not for me."
You nodded in agreement. "And since they are mine, I get to choose what to do with them, right?" Xiao huffed at your reasoning, but you only clasped your hands together as you pled. "Please, Xiao?"
Xiao looked away. "Do as you please."
You immediately moved closer to him until you were sat by each other. You asked him to look over at you so you could see his face and better arrange the crystalflies. You didn't expect to met with a red face but you refrained from teasing him.
After choosing the best places to put them, you started with the first one. "Stay still for me," you asked, taking one of the crystalflies from the letter.
Xiao watched you, expecting it to be put straight into his hair. He never expected to watch you bring the crystalfly to your lips, kissing it before murmuring something against them and then try to put it in his hair as though it was nothing.
The yaksha became a spluttering mess, grabbing your wrist before you could place them in his hair. "You- Why- why would you kiss it?"
"Oh, it was a blessing." You explained. "Pouring all my love into the crystalfly, before giving it to you so you can wear it on your person and carry my feelings with you." You paused. "...I'm guessing it's not a tradition in this world?"
Your words somehow flustered the Yaksha even more. He let go of your wrist, hiding the lower half of this face with his fist. "... It is not." He muttered.
You also looked away, staring down at the crystalfly. "Oh. I apologise for my ignorance."
He watched you bite your lip, twiddle with the crystalfly in your hand before sighing.  He leaned his head forward, giving you more access to his hair. "You should finish what you started. Put it in my hair."
Xiao didn't raise his head again, not even as you edged closer to him. He held his breath when your fingers threaded through his hair. The touch was so gentle, so much different from the agony he always experienced. Every time you moved a strand, he shuddered as he felt it on his scalp. You must have noticed, moving in to gently scratch his scalp. He leaned against the touch, a sound akin to a purr quietly leaving his lips. He let out a sigh of relief, cut short when you finally pulled away.
"It looks so pretty in your hair." You smiled as you admired him. He couldn't understand why you seemed happy, but he was glad.
"I shall put yours in your hair as well."
He took a crystalfly from the letter, face red as he scanned your head for the right place. As soon as he found the place, he mimicked your previous action. He pressed his lips against the crystalfly, being met with a cold, yet firm and smooth crystal. He let out a puff of breath, warming up the crystalfly before muttering some words against them. He uttered prayers to Rex Lapis to protect you, before slotting them in your hair
Xiao hoped you didn't notice the way his hand shook as he went to slot the crystal fly in your hair. Your hair felt wrong to be against his fingers. How could it not? He was a monster, and you were a being of light. He shouldn't be touching you.
Yet, this once, he ignored his thoughts, and fitted the crystalfly in your hair. When he sat back to observe your reaction, he stopped breathing.
He was right to give you crystalflies. You looked stunning. The crystalfly seemed to have existed solely for the purpose to be in your hair. It complimented every part of you perfectly. You, were perfect.
"You look even more divine with the crystal fly in your hair." He spoke without realising, but seeing your face light up made him continue. "Though, it only accentuates your natural beauty."
It was your turn to be completely flustered. You remained silent for a few moments, before letting out a breathy chuckle, and a thank you as your cheeks burned.
The two of you remained silent as you filled each other’s hair, save for the prayers and out pour of emotions into the crystal fly.
It was only when there were two left, did things change.
You pressed your lips against the final crystalfly, a tighter grip on it as you wished for Xiao's happiness and more. When you pulled away, you gave him a smile. It was a little weak, since you knew how he would have reacted had he heard you.
Regardless, you asked him for the final time to bow his head. However, he gently took you hand and brought it in front of him.
"Xiao?" You breathed out, but didn't resist.
He uncurled your hands, gazing at the crystalfly that laid on your palms. You watched as he leaned down towards your hand, which he cradles in his own. He pressed his own lips against the crystalfly you kissed, his lips lingering long enough for your heart to race.
He pulled away, eyes lingering on the crystalfly before he bent his head down. "You may put them in my hair now."
You let out the breath you had apparently been holding in as you went to fasten in his last crystal fly. You couldn’t help but press a kiss against his forehead as you announced you was done.
Xiao lifted his head, and made the mistake to lock eyes with you. His breath was caught in his throat when he gazed into your eyes, the eyes he has grown to love. His heart pounded in his head, all his thoughts seeming to only be heard by his heart.
He (regrettably) pulled away from your gaze, taking the final crystalfly into his palms. He whispered against the crystalfly, a blessing of his own wishes for you. Happiness, health, and more importantly, inner and outer peace. "I'm a being closely acquainted karma." He started, looking down at the crystal fly. "But, I hope I can bless you as well, even if it be just a little."
You took his hand, brushing your lips against the crystalfly and his palms. "You can." You whispered, looking up at his topaz eyes. "I know you can, Xiao."
With your words, Xiao found himself rising to his knees as he placed the final crystalfly in your hair. Five of them were now in your hair, five of them in his.
He bent down, the crystalflies moving with his hair as he kissed your forehead. Your hair smelt sweet, the same scent you left behind after you once fell asleep on his shoulder.
You looked up to him, with an almost awestruck expression. He also blinked in surprise, when the anemo crystal flies gradually glowed green and flickered a little. It had gotten dark since the beginning of this meeting between the two of you, and the crystal flies were making up for the loss of light.
The glow of the crystal flies outlines the shape of your face perfectly, as well as every strand of hair on your head. You were so bright, he wondered if you would be the embodiment of light like this had you had your true power.
You then rested your hand over his. "Xiao," you whispered, as though scared to ruin the fragile atmosphere. "What is your birthday wish?"
The yaksha blinked, replying immediately. "I have no right to make my own wishes."
You shook your head, pressing a finger against his lips to silence him before he could protest. "I am a star. Even if I am not at my full strength, it is our job to make the wishes of the people on Earth to come true." You leaned forward, your voice becoming quieter. "I'm your star, Xiao. Make a wish, and I'll do my best to grant it. No matter how grand, or impossible if may seem." You squeezed his hand. "Please."
The yaksha's lips quivered at your words. He closed his eyes, resting his forehead against yours. Your skin was warm, and his was cold. Your eyes were still open, so was your mouth in shock. Xiao kept his eyes closed, scared he wouldn't be able to hold his tears in.
He thought his wish, over and over again. So many times that some of the words leaked out of his mouth. You didn't catch much of it, as you stroked the back of his head.
As he finished his wish, and he opened his eye to look at you, he gasped.
For the first time, as the crystal fly brushed his ear, he heard quiet. No screams, no curses, nothing. He only heard both of your breathing, the rustling of grass and the movement of your hair.
But the cries came back a minute later, but it was still much quieter.
“Xiao? Did your wish come true?” He gazed at you, and as you searched his eyes for an answer, you smiled sadly. “Sorry, I have barely any power as I am right now. But I promise, as soon as I have my powers back, I’ll make sure you have it easier.
Xiao only stared at you. He hadn’t expected his long and selfish wish to come true, not even part of it. But perhaps blessings really did hold merit. Perhaps…
Xiao, suddenly possessed with the urge to kiss you, submitted to his cravings. He pressed his lips against you, mouthing his wishes against his lips between each kiss.
With the shock of a kiss and silence of his words, you couldn't catch a word of it. But judging by his reaction, one of them must have come true. You simply melted against the kiss, whispering Xiao's name as he captured your lips again and again and again.
It was selfish, he knew it, and beyond anything he deserved, but he hoped the last part of his wish - he hoped you would let it come true.

I know xiao's birthday has passed, but his previous birthday letter really tug my heart strings when I first read it. It only deserved something like this.

Relax | Ei x Traveller!Reader | Genshin Impact
[Ei noticed you struggling during training, and decides to take matters into her own hands]
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Genre: Fluff! Mentions of suggestive stuff if you squint
Characters: Ei
Perspective: 2nd Person for reader.
Word Count: 900 words
Tumblr media
"Let us stop training for now," Ei placed her weapon on her back as she approached you. "Your shoulders must be awfully stiff, my beloved. You can barely lift your sword upwards."
"I hoped you wouldn't have noticed." You admitted, reaching to put your weapon back as well but wincing as you couldn't rotate it far enough. Ei took it from your hands and did it for you. "Thank you." You rubbed your shoulders as you sighed. "I didn't want to ruin our training sessions."
It was one of the rare times during the week the two of you could spent time together, after all.
Ei shook her head. "Nonsense. Your health will always be more of a priority." She took your hand. They were was calloused and rough as yours, but your hand fitted inside them perfectly. "Come inside. I shall have tea made for us. We can simply relax instead."
"Alright," You agreed as she led the way. She did not let go of your hand as you made your way down the halls of Tenshukaku. She still held your hand as she asked the servants for the tea, almost giving you a heart attack.
She didn't let go until you entered her bedroom, and she sat you down on the bed. You rubbed your shoulders, waiting for her to sit next to you, but she never did.
You looked up to her, a brow raised. "Ei? Won't you sit down?"
She shook her head. "Not right now. Please lay down for me, and loosen up your clothes enough so I can access your shoulders. I want to give your shoulders a massage." As soon as you opened your mouth to protest, she beat you to it. "Ah ah ah - I won't take no for an answer. Think of this as a way to make up for our training session cut short."
You almost pouted, but did as she said anyway. You were quiet in your objections, knowing it was hopeless, but eventually went silent. Since you were laying down, you didn't see the soft smile that fell on her lips, or the love in her eyes.
She gently ran her fingers over your shoulders, the goose bumps on your skin that followed were the evidence of her touch. Even then, you had held your breath and tensed under her touch.
"Relax, beloved." Her voice was hushed as she traced shapes into your back. "That's the whole point of this, you know."
You finally breathed out, albeit shakily. "Right. Sorry."
As you tried to relax your muscles, you realised just how tense you were. From stiffness, and Ei's touch. No matter how you tried, you couldn't relax.
Ei watched for a moment or two, before leaning down, and pressing a kiss at the back of your neck. It sent shudders down your spine, but Ei smiled. "Did that help?"
She didn't wait for your answer, pressing more kisses across your left shoulder. They were firm kisses, but whenever you to winced when she kissed a rather sore area, she made sure to apologise through many, multiple kisses on the sole spot.
"Ei," You breathed out, and she chuckled as she began kissing your right shoulder.
"I haven't even started the massage, and you sound so much more at ease," she whispered into your skin. "I always neglect your shoulders when loving you, don't I?" She kissed an especially sore spot, the softness making your heart pound. "I'm sorry."
She leaned over to your face, placing a kiss on your forehead. "Let me make it up to you right now.”
Ei then reaches over the table, and retrieves something from the table. A moment passes, and all of a sudden, a cold liquid oozes onto your skin, making you yelp and jolt. But she only laughs.
“My apologies.” She didn’t sound even slightly sorry, as she rubbed the liquid all over your upper back.
“Massage oil?” You recognised the liquid. “Were you planning this?”
“Perhaps,” She sung. “Now, make sure to breathe for me, beloved.”
As she said those words, she began to gently knead your muscles beneath the heels of her hand. It hurt for a moment, but afterwards you were sighing in relief. As soon as all the tension in the area was gone, Ei made sure to smother the area in kisses as you groaned and moaned rather loudly.
“Does it feel good?” She asked, noticing even your breathing had changed to be more relaxed.
“Very,” You elongated the word, before yawning.
Ei continued to massage you, making sure to cover every inch of muscle that was tense. You grew quieter and quieter over the course of the massage, but she didn’t excactly notice. She ws too focused on easing your tension.
It was only when Ei told you she was done and you didn’t reply, that Ei noticed your silence. She called out your name, leaning over to see your face. She didn’t expect to see you asleep, your once tense shoulders completely relaxed.
Ei blushed at your serene expression, before kissing your head and covering your shoulders with a blanket. “Sleep well, love.”
It was only a few minutes after, a red faced servant handed over the tea to Ei. It was only when Ei put down the tea set, did she realise she wouldn’t be able to share it with you right now.

Sensual | Raiden Shogun x Traveller!Reader | Genshin Impact
[The puppet's curiosity towards ears, leads to her trying ear kisses.]
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Genre: Limey? And fluff.
Characters: Raiden Shogun
Perspective: 2nd Person for reader.
Word Count: 751
Tumblr media
"Traveller, your ears differ from my own." The Shogun had spoken up from the other side of the room all of a sudden - almost startling you.
When the two of you spent time together, not much words were exchanged. You both simply enjoyed each other’s presence. So, it was understandable you nearly leapt out of your skin when she spoke up for the first time since entering your shared bedroom, hours ago.
"My ears?" You brushed your fingers against them, looking over at the Shogun's ears. "Oh, you mean our ear lobes? I guess so. There are different types of ear lobes."
The Shogun hummed, processing the new information. "It's not something I've noticed before. Is there a reason for the differences?"
"Well," You placed your light novel down as you tried to recall what you've learned from your travels. "Most worlds chalked it up to genetics. Some placed high importance on the shape of your ear lobe though. It could determine your personality in some worlds, your future in others."
"I see." She paused, and you could tell she wanted to say something more.
When you turned to her, all you could see was her frowning. "Why the frown?" You asked, getting off the bed and sitting by her in the chairs.
"I'm only thinking." Her eyes flickered to your ears before she looked forward once again. "You needn't worry yourself."
You sighed, shaking your head with a smile. "You can't expect me to do that when you’re getting yourself worked up. It's a bit hypocritical, my lovely shogun."
You reached out to brush a long strand of her away from her face and tucked it behind her ears. You didn't expect her to shudder when you fingers touched them.
You immediately pulled away. "Sorry."
But she shook her head. "No, it wasn't unpleasant. Actually, it was rather nice." She turned to you, head cocked to the side. "Do you have an explanation for this as well?"
"The ears are pretty sensual." You were starting to become surprised at how similar the Shogun's body functioned like humans. You had figured she wouldn't have such sensitivity.
"Sensual? Like kisses?"
The innocent question made you laugh a little. "Kissing the ears were a pretty common romantic gesture in some of the world I've been in."
"I see." The Shogun looked at your ears once more. "Then tell me," she gently holds your chin between her two fingers, turning it to the side as she leaned in close to your ear. "Tell me how sensual this is." She whispered softly by your ear, her breath tickling you.
She pecked her lips against your ear lobe to experiment, before going in for a longer kiss. You breathed in sharply at the explosion of sensations from such a small part of your body. As she continued on, you sighed softly, closing your eyes to fully savour the feeling.
The Shogun wrapped her hand around your torso, pulling you closer as she dragged her lips all the way up to the top of your ear. She again breathed softly against your ear, sending shudders down your body.
You gasped when you felt her teeth softly nibble against your ear, gently tugging at your ear before she sucked ever so slightly. It was enough to make you bite down on your lip, your body beginning to get hotter as you muttered her name.
She pressed her lips behind the back of your ear, voice deep when she says, “Say my name again."
"Shogun," you muttered again as she began kissing dawn your jaw. You searched for her hand, brushing against her torso and chest until you found her arm. You trailed down until you reached in hand, and intertwined your fingers with hers. You squeezed hers, and she squeezed back.
She didn't stop until she reached your chin. That's when she turned your face back to face her, so she could kiss you on the lips. The kiss was deep, chasing to savour your taste. It wasn't until she pulled away that you saw her eyes - clouded with desire and determination.
"Was that as sensual as you described?" She asks, searching your eyes for your feelings.
You smiled. A completely delirious smile, as you were drunk from her lips. "More than sensual." You leaned forward, brushing your lips against hers as you whispered against her lips. "Don't stop."
She didn’t waste time, resting her fingers on your jaw as she chased after your lips once again.

Hand Kisses | Zhongli x Traveller! Reader | Genshin Impact
[Zhongli kisses your injured hand.]
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Genre: Hurt/Comfort. Fluff, ofc
Characters: Zhongli
Perspective: 2nd Person for reader.
Word Count: 1092
Tumblr media
Zhongli was a man of tradition in every sense of the word, and he didn't come short of that as he deepened his connection with you.
Even before the two of you officially got together, Zhongli always greeted you with a kiss of your hand. The first time it happened, it was the first time he saw your usually static face show a slither of surprise. It was an expression he committed to memory.
At first, you tried to think nothing of the gesture. Chalking it up to simple other worldy traditions, you allowed him to press his lips against your fingers as a greeting and as a goodbye.
Despite being a God of war, the gesture brought you nothing but peace. There was more than a couple of times when you could feel the corners of your lips twitch upwards when he got on his knees and kissed your hand.
You figured things would remain like that until he would kiss your hand for the final time before you left the world. It was Venti, who told you, it wasn't a mere friendly gesture in this world.
So, you started approaching him less and less. Human beings needed relationships to live, but you were an alien to this world. If you got into a relationship with Zhongli, an immortal of all types of people, it simply wouldn't end well for any of you.
It was only when Zhongli approached you with a contract - the contract of your relationship - did you truly consider the possibility of being with him. And eventually, a contract was signed, due to end just before you left the world.
Slowly, hand kisses became the norm between the two of you. Days felt incomplete without that little exchange between the two of you so you always made sure to try and see Zhongli at least once throughout the day. However, now that you were a couple and shared a home, you always knew you would get your precious hand kisses.
Today was a little different, in the sense you wanted to see Zhongli in the middle of the day. You had just been injured in a commission - by human standards it was a miracle you had only gotten a bruise on your hand while fighting the Primordial Geovishap. However, it shook you. The fact you even got injured, was a testament to how much weaker you were.
The realisation just grew heavier and heavier on you, until you found yourself teleporting back to the habour and rushing to the funeral parlour. You tried to keep your shaking under wraps, waving the familiar passer-by’s as you rushed through the streets.
It was only when you reached the front doors to the funeral parlour did you falter. When it came to emotions, you usually just dealt with them yourself. Why go to Zhongli now?
You stepped back from the parlour. Right, you could just go into your teapot and calm down for a bit. You still had commissions in Mondstat. If you stopped to see Zhongli now, you'd probably never get these done.
When you heard a familiar, deep voice call out your name, your blood went cold for a moment. You turned to see Zhongli, holding his lunch for the day. Was it lunch time already?
You hid your hands behind your back.
"It's peculiar to see you at this time of day." He was observant, there was no doubt he noticed you hide your hand, or at least, shake as you stood before him. "Care to join me for lunch? It was a bigger portion than I had ordered, so I made sure to tip the chef generously.”
You nodded, imagining the scene unfold. Very typical of your lover. "Okay, please, lead the way."
And so you followed him to his office, trying to contain your shaking. His office was empty since he had apparently finished his work for the day. He placed the meal on the table, and left to retrieve a chair for you.
When he did leave, you gazed at the injury again. You sighed, cradling your hand. The statue of the seven should have been your first stop, not here. Guilt began gnawing at your heart.
You didn't realize Zhongli had paused to watch you from the hallway. He quietly placed your chair on the table, before standing by you. He got down on his knees, making you look at him in confusion.
He only offered you a smile. "I am yet to greet you properly, my dearest. May I?"
You bit you inner cheek. This was what you wanted, to see Zhongli. You only hesitated a moment longer before giving him your hand.
It was only when he held your hand did you realise you had given him your injured one. It was the same hand he always kissed, so you did it from pure habit.
He gazed at the deep red mark on the back of your hand, face unreadable. "I pity the being tried to harm you.” He said. “I trust you dealt with them quickly?"
You nodded. You didn't trust yourself to speak.
His gaze moved up to you, his amber eyes meeting yours. "Does it hurt?'
"...No," you managed to get out, before hugging yourself with your free arm. "But..."
You watched as Zhongli dipped his head down to your hand, gently pressing his lips around the bruise. He squeezed your fingers gently, comfortingly.
Zhongli pressed a kiss against the tender part of your hand, and you gasped softly. It was strange. You blocked off any feeling of pain from your injury, yet you were able to feel every part of his lips.
He pulled away, standing up before enveloping you in a hug. You were surprised, standing still in the hug as your injured hand was still in his own. The hug was warm, even the faint scent of earth and osmanthus wine you smelt as you inhaled was comforting.
"You came seeking my comfort, did you not?" He lifted your hand and kiss it again.
Ah, so he had read you like an open book. Actually, you had stopped shaking. You didn't know when - was that why he hugged you? You hugged him back, regardless.
He pulled away, gently leading you to the table. "Eat with me, dearest. I shall then accompany you on your commissions."
You met his gaze again. "Are you sure? The rest are in Mondstat."
"I do not mind." He kissed your hand again. "Let me be by your side today."
Tumblr media
This was one of the harder ones to write. I knew what kind of kiss I was going for, but didn't know how to write a scene for it. But hey, we got one and I genuinly love it so its all good.
Thanks, reader!

Morning Kisses | Ganyu x Traveller! Reader | Genshin Impact
[In which, Ganyu worries she hasn't been loving you the way she should]
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Genre: Fluff! Ganyu being adorable and awkward.
Characters: Ganyu
Perspective: 2nd Person for reader.
Word Count: 1061
Tumblr media
Stress wasn't foreign to Ganyu, thanks to her line of work. For stresses in those instances, the simple solution was to get work done. However, when it came to stresses towards you, Ganyu was simply helpless.
It started when she overheard the girls at work gossip during their break. She hadn't mean to overhear them, she just happened to stop to sign an urgent document right in front of the break room as she was heading to Ningguang’s office.
"If the couple don't share morning kisses, they are bound to break up!"
She almost dropped the papers then and there. The pair of you have never had morning kisses. Both of you were busy people after all, both of you were only just getting used to sleeping in bed together at the same time.
"True, but morning kisses are the minimum. My partner always meets up with me for lunch, if they don’t have time for lunch, they makes sure to give me a sweet kiss to make up for it."
Ganyu couldn't stop her heart dropping to her stomach. You had once asked her if she wanted to meet up for lunch since all your commissions happened to be based around Liyue that day. But she had to decline because it was Liyue's busy period. Had she upset you when she rejected your offer?
One of the girls sighed. "You girls are so lucky. It’s hard to find someone who's willing to accept the fact you'll be at work more than you are at home. You better treasure your loved one."
That was enough to make Ganyu drop all the papers she was carrying. They practically went all over place, just as Ganyu's thoughts.
Have I not treasured them enough? Oh goodness, have I reached the point they will want to end our relationship? Surely not. But what if...
"Oh, Miss Ganyu! Please, let us help you!"
The three girls poured out the break room, rushing about to pick about the sheets. Ganyu followed in suite, but with a deep crease in her brow as she gnawed on her lips. If she didn't make things right now, then it would very quickly reach the point of no return.
*
Ganyu sat up in bed when the moon was still high in the sky. She could tell it was an awful hour to wake up if you, of all people, were still in bed and not getting ready to do your commissions for the day. The first thing that flooded her head was the left over documents she hadn't got round to doing. The second thought, was you.
That immediately crushed her. You were right by her, and work was still her priority. Perhaps she has neglected you after all. Perhaps she really hasn't cherished you the way she should-
"Ganyu?"
The adeptus froze at hearing your groggy voice. When you touched her shoulder, she turned to see the worry in your eyes, despite your tiredness.
You fought to keep your eyes open, trying to sit up. "Ganyu? What's the matter?"
She shook her head, gently pushing you down to bed with one hand. The other hand took the hand you rested by her shoulder, and rested it back to your side. "It’s...It’s nothing at all. I... was just thirsty."
You searched her face for a moment, and just as she thought you might have figured out what was actually going through her head, you closed your eyes and relaxed back into the sheets. "Maybe we should keep a glass of water..." You yawned. "...by the bed." And with that, you fell back into slumber.
She let out a quiet sigh of relief, before feeling guilty once more. She felt like a disaster, waking you up and worrying you all in one go. "Sorry." She said to you sleeping self, brushing her fingers down the side of your face.
Your lips were parted as you slept, painted in light by the moon and stars outside. Even in your sleep, in the early mornings, you were breath-taking.
Then it hit her. It was morning. And you were here. If it was morning, and she kissed you...
Would that count as a morning kiss?
It most definitely didn’t, at least not fully. You wouldn't be awake, but it was still the morning and it would be a kiss. Would that be enough?
Ganyu pondered her situation until the birds began tweeting and the sun was beginning to rise. She panicked. If she didn't kiss you now, she would not get the opportunity to kiss you again and call it a 'morning kiss'.
She gathered all her courage, brushing her bangs behind her ears as she bent down towards your face. She got close enough she could feel your breath against her skin, and she could hear the soft sounds of your breathing.
Before her fluster could take hold, she gently pressed her lips against your own, for less than a second before she could pull away completly flustered. Your lips were so soft and firm and warm but she also felt somewhat guilt stealing a kiss from you while you were unaware. No, it wasn't even a kiss. It was a peck - she couldn't even show you her love properly. The tips of her ears turned red from sheer embarrassment.
Suddenly, she felt a hand on the back of her head, making her turn back to you. She almost died on the spot when she saw you were awake, flustered yet to sleepy at the same time.
"Ganyu," You breathed out, pulling her close enough your lips were touching. "More, please." You whispered into her lips before pressing against them.
It took her a moment, but she kissed you back. And she pecked and kissed you until the morning. After all, she had to make up for all the morning kisses she hasn't given you.
Extra
"Erm," She started when she pulled away for a moment, avoiding your gaze as she turned into an even redder. "I want to kiss you at lunch times too, whenever I can."
You paused to think.  "I want that too." You nodded, before laying Ganyu on the bed while you hovered over her instead. "Let me kiss you, now."
After that day, Ganyu made sure to incorporate morning kisses (and lunchtime kisses) into her daily routine.

Kisses Through The Wind | Venti x Traveller! Reader | Genshin Impact
[Your fatigue gets overwhelming after you finished your commissions in Inazuma. Even the wind worries for you.]
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Genre: Fluff, maybe a tad bit angsty, but fluff at the end.
Characters: Venti
Perspective: 2nd Person for reader.
Word Count: 1001 (beautiful number)
Tumblr media
You sat upon the highest hill top of Seirei Island, gazing to the shore line.  There was almost no wind here to rustle the naku weeds or the grass. The water was relatively quiet in its gentle ripples, but much louder in the cackling of electro. In fact, the loudest thing in the island was the occasional hillchurls and the mechanical workings of Khaenri'ah’s machines.
It was comforting here. It reminded you of some of the world you have visited previously.
You slowly lowered yourself to the ground, all you energy finally leaving you as you limbs began to the limp and heavy. Being so far away from the stars and space was starting to take a toll on you. Despite you being native to the earth, you were far more aligned with the physiology of stellar beings. It was a miracle you hadn't died during your 500 year slumber.
But now, you were starting to get more tired than usual. Apparently, you were starting to get tired by human standards as what would have been a simple jog for you was now enough to have you catching your breath with your human adventuring partners. You wondered if you were starting to truly become human again.
That revelation would have made you happy under normal circumstances. But for the first time in your life, you didn't need your physical humanity. You were now destiny bound to fight gods, monsters, and whatever else this world wanted to throw at you so you could return back home. If you were a human doing all of it, you'd have no chance.
A frustrated groan was bubbling in your chest, and when you tried to let it out, it came out as a helpless whimper. You were too tired to use a simple waypoint, let alone sit up.
You managed to shift your head up to the sky, watching the dark plumes of electro swirl round and round. It was hypnotic in the way it lulled you towards sleep. Your eyes were getting heavier as you decided you would rest here, at least for a little bit.
"...bloom..." You imagined the distant call of your beloved Venti as the wind tickled your ear. It only made you relax more.
"...windbloom..." You heard it more clearly this time, making you mumble out Venti's name. You then felt a tug on your heart, pulled by the feeling of longing. You must have missed him enough to start imagining him being at your side.
"Windbloom? Can you hear me? I haven't spoken to any one through the wind like this in centuries, especially so far away."
The clarity of his voice in the wind that blew gently by your ear, was enough to make your eyes shoot open. "Venti? Is that really you?"
He let out is signature laugh, warming your heart. "Indeed it is, my muse. I'm having my words be carried from Mondstat to Inazuma by the wind. Perks of being the Anemo Archon!"
You hummed, watching the green glow of anemo energy that gently swirled around you. "I agree, it’s quite useful."
"But, the wind also tells me you’re not doing too well." As soon as you got over that reveal of information, you frowned. "Are you okay?"
"I'm okay." You assured him, trying to steady your voice. "I'm just... tired."
There was silence for a short moment. You knew he knew there was more than simple fatigue at play.
Venti spoke up first. "Can you teleport to Windrise? Or at least, enter the Serenitea pot? ... I just want to be besides you as you rest to make sure you’re okay."
Those words were enough to make your heart flutter, but your frown only deepened when answered him. "Thank you for your worry but, I feel as though I can barely move my arms or legs." You closed your eyes again, unable to keep them open anymore.  "I promise, I'll rest for an hour then make my way into the pot. I just don't have the energy right now."
"...I see." Was his response.
It was clear he was unsatisfied, but not much could be done. You were simply too far away-
You felt the wind, warm and gentle, brush against your lips. The same breeze brushed against your cheek, your forehead, and every inch of your face. It was feathery, like Venti's kisses. It made you chuckle the same way as you would when Venti would kiss your face like this from time to time.
The wind carried his laughter. "This is my first time doing this, but it seems to be working. So, how do you like kisses from afar, my muse?"
"They're nice." You nodded, savouring the breeze on your cheeks. "But I wish I could kiss you back as well."
"While I was hoping the power of love through my kisses would give you the strength to teleport to me, I also imbued you with so anemo power. You should feel a lot lighter. How is it, my love?"
You took a deep breath before managing to flex and lift your arm up. Yes, your arm still ached, but the wind helped you pushed your arm up so it wasn't using as much energy as it normally would.
Venti's little wind kisses, may have played a bigger part in your ability to now move your arm though. "It worked," You began trying to get back on your feet.
Venti wasn't in front of you, but you could hear the smile in his voice. "I'm glad. Teleport into the Serenitea pot. I'll be there to make sure you get the rest you need."
There was a lot of things racing in your head: words of gratitude, questions about how he could do this, questions about how exactly he knew you were in such a state. But you decided to settle on three simple words. "I love you."
You knew he was beaming brightly when he replied. "I love you too."
Tumblr media
These kisses posts were meant to headcannons, but apparently I am incapable of writing bullet point ideas without making a whole fic out of them.
Enjoy x

Nose Kisses | Albedo x Traveller! Reader | Genshin Impact
[When your nose is cold while your in Dragonspine, Albedo has an idea on how to warm it up.]
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Genre: Fluff, pure fluff. I did it guys.
Characters: Albedo, Klee is also around
Perspective: 2nd Person for reader.
Word Count: 584
Tumblr media
The cold of Dragonspine was especially vicious today. The wind sounded like cries and howls, and the blizzard was strong enough you couldn't see past a few feet outside Albedo's campsite.
Klee was only meant to visit for the day, but the blizzard had raged on and hadn't showing any signs of stopping. She was now asleep, curled at your side with a blanket draped over her. She had clutched on to your hand as she dreamt, mumbling about fish blasting together. You didn't have the heart to pull away from her, so you've sat by her on the bench with a blanket of your own.
Watching the child sleep also made you sleepy, but with how chilly it was, you couldn't hope to fall asleep. Even if it wasn't so cold, you wanted to make sure Albedo went to sleep first. He didn't need sleep and neither did you, but sleeping together was one of the rare times you were able to spend time together.
"Here." Albedo walked up to you, a cup of something warm in his hand. There was something curious in his eyes as he looked at both you and Klee.
You smiled, taking the cup with shivering hands. "Thank you. Even though it’s warm here, it seems I haven't recovered from having all my commissions involving Dragonspine."
Albedo hummed, adjusting the blankets over you and Klee. "Having all four of your commissions in Dragonspine is rather unfortunate. I wonder what the statistical probability is."
"I wonder too." You took a sip, melting at the warmth that touched your near-frozen and the sweet taste that rolled over your tongue. You let out a content sigh, a large plume of hot air escaping your lips dissipating into wisps as you did. "This is wonderful. Thank you."
He nodded, and as you were about to take another sip, you suddenly sneezed. It was enough to make Klee stir. Both you and Albedo froze as she groaned. Thankfully, she snuggled back into your side and went back sleep so both you and Albedo could let out a sigh of relief.
"Sorry," You said, rubbing your now warm hand over your nose. "My nose is really cold." You sniffled.
"I see." You turned to Albedo, recognising that tone. "Close your eyes for me."
"You know how to warm up my nose?" You closed your eyes. "As expected of you - oh!"
You were cut off when you felt a pair of lips press against your nose, followed by a warm sigh that tickled your nose. Albedo took your free hand, squeezing it as he gently brushed his nose against yours.  He even took the opportunity to press his lips against your own, before continuing to rub the tip of his nose against yours until you were warmed up. And he could feel it working. The heat practically exploded across your face as soon as his nose touched yours.
When he believed you to be warmed up, he pulled away and observed your flustered state. "It appears to have worked.
"Albedo," You tried to scold him, but it came out as a helpless whisper as you hid your face in your hand.
He let out a chuckle, pressing a kiss against your forehead, before bending down to kiss Klee's forehead too. "Shall the three of us head to bed, now we are all warm?"
You peeled your face away from your palms, using the same hand to brush Klee's hair. "Yes, let's go to bed."
Tumblr media
I wish I had written more, but this was really a short and sweet kind of fic. Hope you enjoyed regardless!
Also, I'm going to posting once a day over the next few days. One for each immortal. So, look out for that!

Innocent Indulgence | Yae Miko x Traveler!Reader | Genshin Impact
["Go on. Kiss me." A simple command. But it brought along many complex problems, for the both of you.]
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Genre: This is like the spiciest thing I have ever produced. It is not a smut, by all means. More of a lime - a spicy fic, if you will. Angst and fluff, of course.
Characters: Yae Miko, Ei (mentioned, as well as EiMiko mentioned)
Perspective: 2nd Person for reader.
Word Count: 3042 (most I've written on this account letzzz gooooo!! Also hasn't been spell checked properly lol.)
Tumblr media
Yae Miko didn't dare admit it outloud, but she missed the physical intimacy that came with love. She had gone five hundred years without Ei - five hundred years without someone to hold her and tell her how much she meant to them.
Of course, she had many shrine maidens to entertain her over the years, to soothe her longing to be touched when the pain got too much. But it was all short lived. And she never dared to love them, for human lives were as fleeting as candles. They would either be burned out on their own, or snuffed out by ailments or evil.
She had slowly began to believe that things would be like that for an eternity. But then you came along. As an outsider, an anomaly to eternity, you immediately caught her interest and became her perfect opportunity to bring back her Ei. She didn't expect to become fond of you over the short time she spent with you.
In some ways, you were like Ei. Silently determined, stoney faced with a heart that gleamed of the highest quality gold.
But you weren't Ei. And she wanted Ei, not you.
So when she finally was able to come face to face with Ei, and to talk to her when you left the plane of Euthemyia - she finally realised she couldn't.
She couldn't love Ei the same way again. The scars the God had inflicted on her heart in her absence ran far too deep to be healed, and stretched too far for her to even find the root.
Yae thought her pain would finally end when she would see Ei again, but it didn't. In fact, it grew worst.
And before her heart could hurt anymore than it, before Ei could say a word, Yae left.
It hurt, unbearably so. But Yae still couldn't bring herself to hate Ei. Ei thought she was doing what was best for everyone and even though she was wrong, Yae knew that hurting her was never Ei's intentions. But intentions didn't matter in situations like this. Intentions can't rectify an eternity worth of damage.
But then you, once again, became a hope in her eyes. Whether it was out of the kindness of your heart or pity, you began spending your days with Yae. Sometimes you saw her first thing in the morning to wish her a good day. Other times, it was after a long day of commissions where she lent you her ears as you retold your events of the day.
When you had to leave the nation to go to another, you would tell her and come back as soon as you could. The anemo crystalfly you once gifted her, she still kept it on her person. The omamori she teased you about, you ended up actually using it as an accessory. She teased you for it endlessly.
She hasn't teased anyone in such a way in a while. The fact you were also immortal made it better. It meant she would have an eternity to tease you.
When that thought crossed her mind, she slowly came to realise her feelings for you - she wished to spend an eternity with you. She wanted to deepen the friendship you both had and become yours as you would be hers.
She longed for you, the same way she longed for Ei before they became a couple. She wanted to love you and for you too love her.
And so, one thing led to another, and the two of you became a couple. Truthfully, she hadn't felt so happy in a long time. The feeling of having a reason to go home other than rest was something she had missed. And it didn't matter who had gotten home first, you would always greet each other with warm smiles and hugs. You made her tofu whenever you had the time, and she joined you on commisions from time to time. Loving you certainly wasn't the same as loving Ei, but the joy it brought her was still the same.
However, there was one thing she had with Ei she wished she could have with you. That was expressing love physically.
With her hearing, she could hear the way your heart crashed against your ribcage when she would teasingly draw her lips close to yours. But it wasn't out of anticpation, it was out of fear. She saw how hard it was for you to try to say 'I love you' without your eyes growing distant, so she always pressed a finger against your lip to silence you before you couldn finish the second word.
At the same time, she saw how your eyes would stay on her lips as she spoke. She saw you chew at you lips when your hands twitched to touch her side. She could hear the beginnings of protest when she would pull away from hugging you. But you never continued. You suffered in silence.
If she didn't know any better (which she did), she'd say that you also had once suffered like you did - a heartbreak. And you weren't quite over it.
She wished you would tell her how deep you scars ran, how it all started, how you managed to bare it on your own because it was clear she was the first person you had gotten romantically involved with since you were hurt.
A more feral side of her wanted to confront this person once and for all, and give them a piece of her mind. However, it was obvious this person was from another world, so she couldn't do that.
Yae was tired. She wanted you to hold her. She wanted you to cherish her. She had been so patient all this time, but everyday her love for you grew and so did her longing. It was clearly the same for you too.
You had backed her into a corner, and she had to pounce. Or else her desire for you would eat her up.
*
"Go on, kiss me."
Your throat went dry when Miko's eyes gleamed as she watched you. You didn't even remember how she had cornered you like this, but now you were both in her bedroom, her back against the locked door.
The blinds were closed, but even then the sunlight streamed through the windows and into the room. The light accentuated her lips and curves. She looked so perfect it made your head spin.
But she always looked perfect. You have longed to kiss her, hold her rather than just the pair of you share a hug. You also wished for her to hold you as well, when you needed her comfort on a rough day. You hated shedding tears alone.
It was hard, though. It was hard to kiss someone who reminded you so much of your previous lover. The lover you left back in your home world.
You let out a shaky breath as you recalled their final words to you, your hands beginning to shake as you clenched your eyes shut.
Had your current lover been anyone else, it would have been much easier to be physically affectionate with them. You would have been so much easier been able to kiss them, hold them and tell them you loved them.
But Yae was so much like them. Cunning like them. Multifaceted like them. And underneath all of that, they both shared with you their most intimate side. A side you have grown to love, as well as their whole being.
You knew that they were seperate beings, but some inkling in the back of you head questioned if Yae was just their replacement in you heart. A small plaster for an open wound.
Feeling a hand on your cheek, you dared to crack open your eyes to look at Miko. She was watching you with an unreadable expression, stroking your cheek to pull you out of your deep memories. You were grateful, and nuzzled against the warmth of her hand.
For a brief moment, you locked eyes with Miko and your breathing hitched. The glow of her eyes was bright - like the stars that would shine for an eternity. It was then your worries were dispelled.
Miko was not like your old lover. For she was immortal.
Slowly, your gaze lowered to Yae's lips. They were an alluring shade of pink, and looked so incredibly soft. You wanted to kiss them.
Miko, unaware of you sudden revelation, sighs and pulls her hand away. Her ears, despite her heavy earrings, seemed to flatten against her head. "I suppose I should have expected this. Perhaps I shouldn't have tried to push you out of your comfort zone- oh!"
Despite pushing her against the wall gently, Miko was still caught of guard by the action. Her slightly wide eyes tried to meet your gaze, but you were focued soley on her lips. Her lips, parted ever so slightly from genuine suprise.
"Damn it, Miko." You said huskily, your deep voice almost getting her weak at the knees.
You took her chin between you fingers, and leaned in until your lips grazed hers. She gasped against your lips, making your smile. You silently mouthed your love for her against her lips, before sealing your kiss.
Miko let out of a noise of suprise, for when she looked into your eyes as you told her you loved her, you were there. You weren't drifting into memories from long ago. You were telling her, in the present. She could see it in your eyes.
Not knowing that was why she gasped, you simply saw it was an oppurtunity to deepen the kiss, and so you did. She was as magical as you imagined and more, sending fireworks from your stomach all the way to your heart. You felt so giddy, so addicted to Miko's warmth. You hadn't had this in ages, you missed this. Being so physical with someone.
Beneath you, Miko closed her eyes and tried to savour the moment as much as possible, which wasn't hard from how hypersensitive she was feeling. The genuine love you were channeling through the kiss, she wanted more.
As Miko tangled her fingers in you hair and gave you a gentle tug, she swallowed the moan she elicted from you. In the kiss, you couldn't quite tell if she was smiling or smirking from your reaction. Perhaps something in between.
But two could play that game, you thought as you moved your hand away from her chin and began dragging both your hands down her chest, down her torso until you were holding her by the waist. Miko, apparently very tickilish, squirmed and gasped and groaned in your grasp. It made your heart swell.
You tugged her by the waist gently and urged her to walk back with you. She understood, manuvering around the room with you while in the kiss until you were both by the bed. You parted away for a moment, catching your breath as your kitsune sat on the edge bed.
She called your name with so much desire, and gazed at you with eyes of want - it made all your restraints snap.
You wasted no time to sit on her lap, wrapping your thighs around her waist as you said her name as well.
"Miko." You whispered, peppering her lips with kisses once more.
"Miko." You groaned when she ran her hands along your body.
"Miko," You praised the name, closing in on her neck before you pressed your lips against it.
Had you been paying more attention, you would have heard her whimper. You continued kissing around her neck until you found the spot that made her throw her head back and cry out your name. You paid special attention to that spot - kissing it, biting it, licking it.
Your hands found its back to Miko's waist. However, you swore you felt something akin to fur brush against your skin. The realisation it was the tails she usually hid making its appearance made you smirk against her neck. Quite daringly, you gently wrapped said tails in your hands and gave it a tug. Miko contiued to moan unabashedly, shuddering in your hold from the pleasure coming from two of her most sensitive spots.
You took hold of her chin again and kissed her lips once more. This time, you licked her lips for permission. She granted you the permission, parting her lips and allowing you to brush her tongue against hers.
It was your turn to be suprised, gasping when you felt something sharp against your tongue. It took you a moment to realise it Miko's canines - something she never showed. If you weren't convinced before, now you were: Miko was becoming undone right in front of you.
Because of you.
You pulled away, heart fluttering at the trail of saliva that connected you even as you parted. Your lover, just as out of breath as you, met your gaze. You didn't think it was possible for you to want more.
Gently, you pushed Miko down to the bed. She looked up at you with eyes of love, so gentle you couldn;t believe it was there despite from you being rather rough with her.
You loved her so much. And you told her this as you leaned down and pressed your forehead against hers, pressing your lips against hers for a quick kiss as you did.
"I also love you, my dear." She whispered, pressing her hand against your cheek as she returned your kisses.
Your suddenly remembered the kisses you left on her neck - nothing that would last long. It would probably be done be gone by the evening.
But you wanted it to last longer.
"May I mark you?"
This was definetly the unpeeneth time you had caught the Yae Miko off guard. As expected, of her lover.
"But of course, my dear." She wrapped her hands around your head and guided you to her neck as she smiled. "I am yours as you are mine."
You wasted no time, licking away at her sweet spot before sucking at the skin. Miko gasped and wriggled underneath you. You took her tails in your hands and tugged them a bit more harshly this time, a warning for her to still herself more.
You didn't stop until you were met with a glaring red mark right on your lover's usually unblemished skin. And you didn't stop there, moving to her collarbone and further down and down.
Miko, the insatiable woman she was, bucked her hips against yours, and it was your turn to let out loud moan as you pushed yourself against your lover. Still, you kept a hand on her hip and pushed her down to the bed, stopping her from doing that again as you ignored her whines.
When you were finally satisfed, you pulled away from her plush skin with a pop. Both of you were heaving, and you took a look at your lover once again.
Her lips were bruised and swollen from you kissing her. The red marks you had left on her skin would no doubt change to a deeper colour tomorrow. As for her clothes, well, you were suprised they were still in one piece, though they were, and in fact the rest of her, was deeply disheveled.
This was your woman, your lover, your beloved. You deserved to see her so flustered and cherished, as much as she deserved to be in such a state.
As you listened to your thoughts again, you yourself began to grow flustered, and opted to hide your face in Yae's neck to avoid her teasing you about it. You inhaled deeply, becoming light headed from the scent. Sakura blossoms had never been so intoxicating.
"Hm? Planning to bed me here and now, my love?"
Your eyes flickered up to Yae's, who glinted micheviously. Still panting, you lowered your gaze and followed the trail of love bites from her neck, to her own heaving chest. And lower. And lower...
But then you pushed yourself off the kitsune, looking down at her as she was still straddled by your legs. "Not today."
If she was disappointed, she didn't show it. In fact, it seemed to amuse her. "Oh? After all that, you can't bring yourself to deflower me? What a shame." She ran her hands down your sides.
You turned away, trying to blink away your dazed state. "Not today." You grumbled again, not sure if you were happy to have your usual Miko back, or annoyed. When your head felt somewhat clearer, you turned back to her and rubbed your thumb over her bruised lips.
"I didn't expect you to be so submissive." You whispered, leaning down to place a much more gentle kiss on her lips.
Yae's ears twitched at that. "I only wanted you to take the lead for our first time. Don't expect me to be so docile next time."
You let out an amused huff, and plopped right next to her on the bed. You were both too tired to cuddle, so you settled to hold hands instead. "I look forward to it then."
The pair of you stayed like that for a while, until you felt your eyes grow heavy. You tried to fight the sleep, but found your effort fruitless. Still, you had to say it before you slept.
"Miko?" You whispered, turning to your lover.
She wasn't facing you, so you assumed she was asleep. You forced your body to turn and you wrapped your free arm around her and snuggled against her still form.
"I love you. I love you so, so much." You whispered, and finally allowed yourself to enter the realm of slumber.
A shame, though. Had you been awake for another moment, you would have felt Yae Miko also turn to you, press a kiss against your forehead before wrapping an arm around you. She pulled you in, rested your face on her chest and she rested her head on your on top of your head.
She let out a content sigh, tracing her swollen lips with her free hand before shaking her head and also submitting herself to sleep.
"I love you too."
Tumblr media
Did I write this because I had a dream I was making out with yae miko - exactly like this where she made me kiss her? Yes.
Did I fall in love with this woman yet again as I had said dream? Yes.
Am I finally giving her justice, since my other immortal fics do not fit her personality quite well? Yes, yes I am.
Am I still recovering from losing the 50/50 on her banner, and hence, decided to write this not only from the bitterness of my soul, but out of mourning of what I could have had, had I won the 50/50? Yesn't.

Awoken Curiosity | Venti x Traveler! Reader | Genshin Impact
[You were the first person he saw when he had awoken again. But, you have seemed to have awoken something else within him]
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Genre: the closest we will get to fluff, my friends
Character: Venti
Perspective: 3rd person venti, 2nd Person to describe reader
Word count: ≈277
Tumblr media
An interest can be piqued immediately, or over time. For the old god, it was the former. At his age, he thought he had seen all of what the world had to offer, that he could no longer be surprised by what the world would throw at him. Yet when it came to you, the epitome of mystery and stars, you were quite unlike anything he had seen before.
You were always so poised and careful. You aura, somewhat close to divinity, commanded order and respect without you needing to say a word. Many described you as confident and assured.
But to him he saw someone who was always alert. Your shoulders were always tense, and your eyes would never forget to survey the room every few minutes. It was obvious you were waiting for something.
What were you waiting for? What made you always stick close by to the door, and always have your weapon on your person?
At the same time, you wore a mask of stone. As solid as Morax's pillars you remained indifferent when those you saved expressed their upmost gratitude.
As jagged as the sharpest stone, your tongue spoke out your thoughts, without any regard of how it might come across to others.
As immovable as the mountains, your face did not betray you of any surprise you felt (if you felt any) towards the reveal of his identity, nor did you treat him any differently.
You always sighed when he got too drunk.
You continued to express acknowledgement of his ballads.
You sometimes would gaze over at him when he joked. He would also gaze at you, when you turned away.
You were like the earth. But even the most solid of earth can be cracked. Could he, the wind, get you to crack?
Tumblr media
a tad short, but i think its cute
Sorry I didn't update last week school stress hit me out of no where I tell you. I'm still feeling it :(
I wrote this ages ago but never sent it (u can tell from the tags lmao). This is my first character focused post instead of a general one about the immortals so I wasn't sure to post it but reading it back it's fine so hope you all enjoy x
i don't know what the earth analogy is about, but uno i think it will work later down the line lolo
But out of all my works so far, this is likely to be edited. I wanted to write more about the fact we were light cause Uno, stars, by I couldn't find a way to fit it in so I had to settle for earth lmao
anyway i won the 50/50 and got venti. happy days

Peace In Sleep, Troubles in Waking | Immortals x Traveller!Reader
[Your beloved wished you could sleep as long as possible, because they couldn't help but fall in love with you even more as you slept.]
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Genre: Fluff & Angst. IDK how balanced this is tbh
Characters: Immortals, i.e. Zhongli, Venti, Ei, Raiden Shogun, Albedo, Xiao, Ganyu, etc
Perspective: 2nd Person
Word count: 667 lets gooooooo
Tumblr media
You were initially very reluctant to get up when you first woke up, but hearing your beloved call out your name made it difficult to try and fall back asleep again.
Unable to suppress a yawn, you turned up to see your lover. They were in the exact same position you remembered they were when you first fell asleep. You were about to ask them if they had slept at all, but fell silent when you took in their facial expression.
Their eyes were soft, with small wrinkles at their corners. Equally as tender was their smile, giving them such a serene aura your heart tugged at the sight.
You pushed yourself up straight, and rested a hand on their cheek. They didn't hesitate to lean against you hand and hold it with their own hand.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" You inquired, voice heavy with drowsiness.
"You seemed very much human as you slept, my love." They murmured. Perhaps they were quiet to maintain the peaceful quiet between the two of you. Perhaps they had gotten shy. Perhaps they wanted to ingrain the memory into their brains.
There was silence between you for a while. "I..." You began to trail off, but they looked at you, silently encouraging you, so you continued. "I was born human but... I don't know if I count as one anymore." You confessed one of your heaviest memories, your heart sinking as you recalled the day that the fear began to manifest in you.
Your beloved, perceptive as ever, gently brushed their fingers against you. The skin contact made you shudder, pulling you out of your mind before you could fall down the rabbit hole of your past.
Thank you. You don't know if you said it out loud or thought it, but your lover spoke again before you could dwell on it.
"I believe you are far more human than I am," They said your name, holding your hand tightly.
Your heart thumped at their words. Did they have the same fears as you?
Without hesitation, you cupped your hands around their cheeks and pulled them in until your lips brushed each other. They made a noise of surprise but even then, you went further. You pushed your lips against theirs and savored every bit of the moment until it was enough.
You pulled away to gaze at them, unable to fight off a small smile at their clearly flustered face.
"And I believe you a far more human than you realize, my beloved." You whispered, pecking them on the lips before holding them tightly.
They took a moment to return the hug and if you had been paying attention, you would have noticed them brushing their fingers against the lips as they replayed the moment in their minds.
But you weren't paying attention, for as the silence between the two of you blossomed, the thoughts you had tried so hard to suppress began to fester.
What did it mean to be human? Weak? Fragile? Mortal?
You had always tried to convince yourself you were still you, still human but you couldn't lie to yourself like you lied to others.
It felt as though your humanity was long gone.
You turned your head until your ears were directly above your beloved's chest. You could feel their heartbeat - far irregular from a normal human being.
Then you placed a hand over your own chest, feeling your heart race in their embrace.
They were right. This was very human of you.
Yet... Sometimes, if you really wished it, you didn't even need a beating heart to function. You didn't need a heart - and the fact always made your eyes prickle with tears.
You used to always feel like a monster. But now, with them, you felt just a little bit of what you once felt long ago.
And if you could make them realise their own humanity, even just a little, that would be more than enough for you.
Tumblr media
literally just wrote so will definetly be edited and changed (i've changed the ending like 10 times already and i wrote this 30 minutes ago) but i like it

like i said before, had this traveller!reader x immortals idea for over a year and I'm thinking of extending it now
leaving it to the gods to decide tbh

Not Forever | Immortals x Traveler!Reader [Angst] | Genshin Impact
[It wouldn't be death that would do you apart... it would be your home]
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Genre: Angst because I can't write happiness, Hurt no comfort cause I don't do that either
Characters: Immortals, i.e. Zhongli, Venti, Ei, Raiden Shogun, Albedo, Xiao, Ganyu, etc
Perspective: 2nd Person because I don't think I am physically capable of writing 1st person
Word Count: 721
Tumblr media
Would it have been easier if you fell in love with a mortal instead? To live in this world until they grew old and grey? Holding their hand as they passed into the afterlife before you would leave this world for your homeland... and never return?
Gazing beside you, your beloved didn't meet your gaze. They were instead enamored by the night sky. There was the shape of a gentle smile on their lips as the shooting stars swept through the skies, leaving a trail of twinkling, gold stardust.
A sight that only you would ever witness - a smile they only had around you. It made your heart clench. It made you question your once solid conviction.
Would you be okay not seeing that smile anymore? Not being in their presence?
Where would you go for company when you were feeling alone? Comfort? A compass?
Your breath caught in your throat as your lips quivered.
Could you really abandon them?
No. You didn't need these thoughts now or ever. For when your quest in this world finally ends, so would your time here.
Besides, you had to go home. Family and friends were waiting for you. To welcome you home and hear the stories of your travels.
How could you ever break your promise to those you call home?
You found yourself shaking as you placed a hand over your mouth. It felt like everything you had been holding back for as long as you could remember had found a way to crawl out. Regardless, you swallowed back the sobs that had climbed from the remorse you buried long ago and tried to regain composure. But how could you?
In this world, they were your home.
Then your beloved turned to you, mouth open to ask your thoughts on the lovely evening, but it was clamped shut. They saw the person they loved the most trying hard to stop any noise of sadness from escaping. Even in your pain, the world did not forget to illuminate your face - the face they have grown to love. A lone tear slid down your face, glistening in the night light before you hurriedly wiped it away.
Startled, they called out your name and reached out to touch you. But you only flinched and edged away from them. Blinking, they retracted their hand and whispered for you, trying not to let their own pain show, and offered you a wobbly, comforting smile.
Sniffing weakly, you gave them a bitter-sweet smile as guilt gnawed at your heart. Eventually, they wouldn't be calling out your name anymore. Because you wouldn't be there. That horrid thought made you frown as you stared at your shaking hands. Taking in a deep breath, you clenched your fists as you looked into your beloved's eyes.
Your face was devoid of emotion, save for the tears that still lingered in your eyes. "I just wanted to remind you," You started, voice so cold it was foreign to their ears. "Of what I told you when we first confessed to each other." You watch as your beloved lost any trace of a smile, eyes darkening at the memory.
"'My homeland will take both my bones and my soul.'" There was a heaviness in the air when you recited those words, much heavier than when they were first said. "I refuse to be killed in this world." You said, turning to the sky. You hadn't been able to fully appreciate the night with your mind preoccupied with the idea of this dreaded moment. The sky was beautiful but was only sullen in your eyes. "Not by hillichurls, Gods, nothing." The words made your heart swell with determination. "My quest will end with me returning home. I swore it." You whispered the last sentence, gazing at your pinkie finger. "And I intend to keep my promise, even if it hurts you in the process."
Even if it hurts me, you couldn't add.
"I..." They eventually started. You didn't look at them this time. "I know." They whispered, looking over at you.
Their voice was as broken and as defeated as you felt. Neither of you was in the place to comfort each other or yourselves. It would have been pointless. Yet it would have been another thing you would miss when the time eventually came.
All because you two couldn't be together forever.

I think I wrote this like one or two years ago, but didn't have the balls to post. For some reason at 3am, I had the balls to post.
Then it didn't post, so I'm copying it over to this new post. Hope this one it works?
Will probably lose previously mentioned balls later today, and delete this.
