NEED ADVICE ON HURT FERAL CAT! CW: injured animal

our neighborhood feral cat (who we lovingly call Mama) has been in our neighborhood for over 10 years. Today… we noticed she had something wrong with her eye. It may be extremely damaged or gone entirely. My partner has been sobbing about it so hard. We love cats with our entire hearts, I just have some experience in the veterinary field from back in my home state so I’m trying to stay objective and not fully freak out.

Does anyone in Oregon have advice for where to get her looked at without risk of euthanization? I think her death would absolutely devastate my partner and me. It doesn’t have to be free. Usually we go to Dove Lewis, which might be our main option, but any other advice is appreciated. We need to make sure we can bring her back. We’re getting a trap, have been feeding her every day for years, and she does have an ear tip.

How many millennia did the Avatar of Envy spend alone in his room, content to shut out the world in favor of his fantasies? Playing video games and binging anime night after night in solitude, sacrificing sleep and jeopardizing his grades to stoke the flame of desire and devour everything he could get his hands on. He considered himself happy, convinced a life of isolation suited him, shunning reality to devote every waking moment to dreaming of the characters he grew to love, heart racing as he watched their stories unfold right before his eyes. They became his friends—family—all he ever wanted and needed until Leviathan met you; the human who single-handedly changed his mind, outshining Ruri-chan and proving to him 2D is nothing in comparison to the sweetness of your smile and warmth of your touch. He no longer yearns for silence, but the company of his Player 2, wishing your voice filled the void you left in your wake.

The time apart is torturous, days turning into weeks which turn into months of longing for the one being in all three realms who loves and accepts him for better and for worse. Every text, phone call, and daily gaming session eases his heartache and lifts him from despair as Henry did the Lord of Shadow. His thoughts turn dark the second you cancel on him, a storm brewing overhead and clouding his judgment. Of course, you didn’t want to play games with someone so pitiful and disgusting, merely taking pity on the fool who dared to seek out your affections, falling pathetically at your feet with the hope you’ll humor him once more. His sin works tirelessly against him, envy scorching through his veins so painfully he about surrenders himself to the heat simmering beneath his skin.
