Marco Polo c.1254 – January 8–9, 1324 was an Italian merchant traveler from the Republic of Venice whose travels are recorded in "Livres des merveilles du monde", a book which did much to introduce Europeans to Central Asia and China. Today the name brings to mind an adventurer, an explorer, a wanderer. A man with a thirst for knowledge and a desire to learn. Exploring the world today can take many forms. In these pages explore with me through snail mail, one postcard at a time.
