In mythology (and some people's headcanons for this game that I've seen), the river Lethe runs through Hypnos's dwelling - in this case, his room in the House, which he totally has (and hides Cicilia in while Zagreus finds a way to let her stay in the House).

So of course when they're caught, Hypnos does what any sensible god would do for his favorite shade. his best. he is doing his best kdjfhg

Happy New Years!

Rather than pull some bullshit "New Year's Resolution," I've decided to set myself a goal: to post at least one piece of art every week here. It can be from full art to simple sprites; whatever helps me advance my art endeavors.

Did another art summary just in time for the new year! Again I have surprised myself by drawing and coloring at least one thing every month. Some of these I had a hard time choosing from cause I did so much in that month!! like what the heck!! how did that happen??? It kinda sucks that you get a whole dorm room in Scarlet/Violet, and you don't even get to do the one cool thing every student would do with their dorm room - personalize it!!

So I spent an absurdly long time painstakingly editing someone's character out of a screenshot of the empty room, until it looked pretty much seamless...and then proceeded to just scribble over it anyway dkjfg. This is just a concept of what my trainer Sierra would have in her room. It would take way too long to clean it up, so it's just gonna look sketchy for now -u- But I really like what I did with it!

details/descriptions under the cut!

On the bed: Two lavender pillows, two throw blankets, a shiny Minior plush, and a shiny Torchic plush. If you were to interact with the bed, the text would say "There are a few small red and green feathers on the bed..." Sierra's Hawlucha sometimes takes naps there with her kdjfg.

On the left wall: A Froslass poster, inspired by a drawing I once received as a gift.

On the center wall: A map of Paldea with lots of sticky notes, photos, and articles, all connected by strings. Here she keeps track of things related to her search for new Mega Stones (specifically one for Bisharp).

On the right wall: A whiteboard with random notes and doodles. The one of Sierra and her Bisharp is the most prominent

On the shelf: Four frames of Gym Badges she's earned (Sinnoh, Hoenn, Kalos, Galar) - Galar's are tucked away in the corner, as she's a bit ashamed of the experience (she quit before fighting the E4 in Galar, due to the pressure/anxiety of her biggest matches being televised) (also I cheated and copy/pasted transparent PNGs of those badges sorry dkjfg). On the right side are several binders, all containing her research on Mega Evolution.

On the desk: (from left to right) A Litwick lamp, with the charm from her Team Magma uniform resting against it; her work laptop that she uses to file reports and contact her boss, as well as some scattered papers; a plain bright desk lamp; a microscope and more loose papers; several Mega Stones (Cameruptite, Garchompite, Medichamite, Altarianite) and crystal samples she recovered from her trips to Area Zero.

Two of my old Crash Bandicoot OCs, Twist and Desirée! I can't remember exactly when I made them, but it was definitely sometime before 2015. I feel old jfhdjg

When I first drew Desirée, I had given her this pink and sort of plastic look, since she was intended to just be the annoying girly rival chick for Twist to despise. But I messed around with the colors and fell in LOVE with this new design, and I'm low-key a little mad about it gkshgj

Twist on the other hand remains pretty unchanged - I always adored her original design and I can't bring myself to stray from it 😂

some backstory for them under the cut:

Twist has been stealing ever since she was young, and was always pretty great at it - it's in her genes! It wasn't until her teenage years that she decided to enroll at Madame Amberly's Academy of Evil, to learn how to make her thieving even more efficient and effective. It also doubled as a place for her to crash, as she never had a permanent home otherwise.

She ends up making quick rivals with Desirée, a star student at Madame Amberly's who's as conniving as she is popular. She's well-versed in mechanics, chemistry, and some even claim she uses some kind of dark magic or hypnosis - though maybe that's just be the effect she has on all her little followers...? She plans to use her charm, wit, and strange supernatural aura to effectively brainwash the entire student body into being her loyal servants, and one day she'll sway the entire world to wait on her hand and foot.

Desirée thinks someone like Twist, whose whole schtick seems to just be stealing people's stuff, doesn't belong at such a prestigious school, and most of their time is spent trying to one-up each other in various ways.

One day, a fight between them results in Desirée's reputation at the school being forever ruined, and as revenge, she gets Twist expelled from the academy. With nowhere to go, she's forced to survive on whatever she can get her thieving little hands on - including a hoard of these shiny purple crystals that seem like they'd be worth a fortune.

She stashes them and herself safely behind a waterfall, until one night she's discovered by Dr. N. Gin. He's so impressed that she's managed to collect all of these Power Crystals by herself - some of them even swiped from Dr. Cortex's own facilities - that he enlists her help in gathering more. Twist happily agrees so she has another place to bunk, and ends up getting along strangely well with the two doctors in question.

started drawing this as soon as I got home last night, got carried away wanting to finish it, now it's 7 AM. the Yuga brainrot is real (yeah he calls Koci "little emerald" bc she's like a precious jewel to him, fight me about it)

also an excuse to share a headcanon of mine - Kokiri eat Deku Baba meat, which is very tough, so their teeth are sharp/strong enough to rip through it and chew it.

I know it's been done before, but I made a Cheep Cheep princess and a Blooper princess! (I can't think of names for them fkhdg) I dunno if it's just cause it's summertime, or maybe it's because my partner and I decided to play Sunshine recently. *Marge voice* I just think they're neat ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Cheep Cheep princess is very nice and sweet, and just wants to hang out and have a good time with everyone. But she's also VERY airheaded and floaty, somewhat oblivious, stuff flies over her head...she's kind of a ditz kdsjfg

Blooper princess is bratty and haughty, totally lives up to the spoiled princess vibe...kind of the "ojou-sama" type? She likes pretty jewels (of course) and also painting, but she's kind of embarrassed about the latter for reasons nobody really knows (aka I can't be bothered to think of one right now fjhgdkjf)

They have the whole "tail in water, legs on land" thing going on cause screw it, why not ghfdjg. They're also rivals, except the Blooper princess is the only one who cares (or knows) about the rivalry.

I watch my partner play Splatoon 3 quite a bit nowadays, so I decided to draw a new ref for my inkling sona 👀 her old ref is literally as old as the first game and it's time I get her up to speed kjsfdgd

some random stuff I thought of just now/couldn't fit in the image:

she has a huge sweet tooth, and also LOVES apple juice boxes

whenever she feels really lazy or low-energy, she'll just be squid-form on the floor and vibe. it's like her way of recharging

she pretty much exclusively sticks to Turf Wars while her partner mostly does Salmon Run

she and said partner share a locker in the lobby. her section of the locker consists almost entirely of processed cheese and stickers of error messages
