The bk vs afo fight only happend because hori wanted to please bakugou fans and give him a big win before the manga ends, because hori for one realized that bakugou has no villain counterpart he can form a deeper connection with and would want to save (since his character is about winning (and killing) not saving) and second because he realized that bakugou is actually a fucking loser and never got a big win on his own DESPITE that his character is all about winning! Its clear as day that hori has no freaking idea what he is supposed to do with the guy. First he "kills him off" so hes out of the picture just to ressurrect him in the biggest asspull way possible to let him fight the MAIN VILLAIN he has zero connection with and let him win DESPITE that he was half dead just 5 minutes before and shouldnt even be able to stand! The bakugou vs afo should have never happend! Its mind blowing how you can mess up a great villain with so much potential just in favor to that ugly ass bitch rapid chihuahua goblin!

I sincerely wish that we in the next chapters, All for one, would make some comment regarding the defeat of the real AFO because we cannot deny that it was a pathetic defeat, and the Vestige AFO knows what happened since Tomura knows

All For One pondering the shonen curse ala plot armor (my hero academia chp 385)  *My Academia Hero Notes*
Tumblr media Tumblr media
*has a city busting cannon in his goddamn arm* REPEAT-use btw- not a one time expense, and all these NPC characters (most of whom DO NOT possess endurance or regen quirks btw) survive anyway.
At least a town-city busting feat, and ALL of them survived. Come on, after Jiro did that "you made my friends cry" shit, yeah Final Arc fell flat on her goddamn face. Between that, Ochako's Love Therapy Session, Rei somehow surviving Toya with no combat training, Deku's Ultimate Talk-No Jutsu Flashback--SMASH!! Shit's a joke.
And it's ironic that All For One is at the center of this L, because My Hero started regressing the moment he was removed from the board after Kamino Arc.
That's when the bullshit really started. That Lasertag dodgeball bullshit with the Exam. They immediately supplanted him with Nine (Dollar Tree AFO) then Chisaki, then that stupid as fuck Festival. Then that meaningless as fuck Joint Training Arc, just dry as fuck one after the other. After All For One was gone, the tension, the stakes just dropped.
It's not like he was running shit overseas or anything, or ran the goddamn prison, or he had a clone & the AFO they confiscated was a Perfected-Nomu which would've made more sense. This is a man who is older than 100 years old, a lot of people forget that. Man this shit was dropped hard, so mishandled.
Between Horikoshi's lack of experience, and Shonen Jump breathing down his neck-- Coulda been worse but My Hero really should've been this Generations Justice League Unlimited x Avatar The Last Airbender x Teen Titans 2003
It tried to be all of them in it's own way (Because if you notice, Horikoshi is a fanboy of Western Media), and failed to emulate a single one of them in the ways that mattered.
And the issues began & (from what i'm seeing CHP418++) will end with AFO.
So unfortunate.
pov: *loses quirk
re: *here's your quirk back
pov: *side character explodes with a blast radius that covers several blocks, we just met this woman so her death means less than nothing
re: *she survives anyway, because My Hero Academia

pov: *rabbit b*tch, irrelevant to the plot, annoying, ironically gets more action shit to do solo than the 1A girls we actually know, so whomp to that (Ochako breaks shonen female lead curse) bullshit.
re: *rabbit-idiot survives, SOMEHOW survives a Nomu that can bend spend fucking SPACE-- what's her power? She Jump Good, & kicky. That's it. vs a power that commands a fundamental force of reality.

Im just leaving this here as well!
Tumblr media
Izuku/ofa is the light of justice afo the personification of evil brought to the world.
(And I love how izuku is like "wait.... I dont really get HOW that all happend!" Yeah, we neither izuku, we neither yet 🤣)
I will absolutely die on the hill that Izuku was the best choice for OFA. I could go on and on about how (as much as I love Mirio,) he wouldn't have been able to handle the dramatic changes society underwent practically overnight. And how he would perpetrate the idea that there is a perfect 'image' of a hero, whether that be personality or quirk. And if you don't find that image then you can't be a hero. Not only that but he would have definitely been killed quickly after receiving the quirk, (no one can convince me that AFO didn't notice the interest that Sir Nighteye, close figure in All Might's life/All Might superfan took in an All Might lookalike,)
But just push all that reasoning aside, it's the fact that OFA was a quirk created by AFO, without him Yoichi wouldn't have had anything to pass on. The fact that this same quirk is described by Yagi as "the light that came from darkness".
And it's just... If DFO is true... GAWDDDDD
AFO created OFA, the light that came from darkness, a quirk given in the attempts to control, only to be passed onto holder after holder for the selfless purpose of protecting the world from AFO.
AFO created Izuku, the light that came from darkness, a person so full of kindness and compassion that he'd sacrifice himself to save a criminal. The kid who's uplifted and saved thousands of people.
And I think despite putting up a front of disdain, AFO agrees with me.
Afterall why would he say he's the father of OFA, as he's looking right at Izuku. They are one in the same after all.

Inko: I CANT be with you hisashi (if that even is your real name) as long as you look like that!
Afo using tomuras body: but you said, you would even love me if I was a worm! 🥺🥺🥺
Inko: yeah but.... right now, you look almost like a child and at least 20 years younger then me! Have you any idea how creepy and weird that is???
Afo: is that all? Oh dear dont worry, Im actually around 160 years older then you! Time and age are meaningless to me afterall! Now back to our plans for the future and our family expansion 🥰
Inko: 😳😧😨😰😱💀
I think about this a lot: I don’t think All for One cares if Inko doesn’t like his new body. All that matters is that she and Izuku belong to him, even if he was a rock or a plum.
All for One: Would you still love me if I was a worm?
Inko: I would love you no matter what ❤️
All for One: Then if she will love me in any form, she shall love me as a crusty 20-something-year-old man. That’s settled then.

Just had a thought. @huiiiooo and I were talking about how afo wanted to use izuku as a possible back up vessel if tomura shouldnt work out (like all these kids in garakis orphanages). But what if izuku wasnt supossed to be HIS vessel but a vessel for YOICHI?! Then it would make sense why he originally wanted to father a child. Because if he puts yoichis vestige in his child, yoichi wouldnt be forced in some random body which I dont think afo would have liked, but in the body of a blood relative. So basically he fathered a child to put his brother in said child so he could take on the father/brother role all in one, which he more or less already did back then when he and yoichi were still kids, since he was basically acting as a surrogate parent for yoichi. Feeding, protecting, clothing and pretty much "raising" him all on his own.

I think this will be partly the case. All for one had deffinitetly no good intentions towards inko and izuku at least at first and wanted to use them for his own plans. I agree that he considered izuku at first a possible vessel and that he was curious about what quirk he would get if afo and inkos telekineses mix. Add the inko shimura theory and everything falls to places (while this theory is not nessessory for everything to work, it just would turn full circle). I think he indeed tried to turn izuku into the perfect vessel, but things didnt go as he intended, mainly because he got attracted. There was no reason for him to marry inko and to STAY married if he was just interested in an offspring. If izuku is a "failed experiment" there is no reason why he still cares for them financielly. If he doesnt care and if izuku is a failed project there is no reason for him to be pissed off with all might for "taking something away from him" (he is not talking about yoichis hand here the jap. raw make that clear).
If we go by the timeline then izuku was either about to be born or a few months old when afo took 5 year old tenko in. That means tenko was still his "main project" while these children in the orphanages, dabi, chisaki, 6th were only considered replacements if tenko shouldnt work out, but his main focus was still on tenko. If izuku was originally meant to be such a replacement I think afo changed his mind because he 1. startet to care and 2. startet to enjoy this family life. So he considered izuku a "failure" not because manipulating izuku turned out to be difficult/impossible or because he was quirkless, but because HE couldnt bring himself in using izuku that way anymore, but of course in typical afo fashion he hides his true feelings by calling the son he startet to love "worthless", "useless" and so on, because hey the demon lord is pure evil and is not able to love remember?
About the tsubasa thing. I do believe little tsubasa got punished, because at one point they did go to far and either really hurted izuku or almost killed him (lets be real children that age are not aware how messed up their actions can be) and afos growing father feelings (he refuses to ackknowledge as such) and the same kind of possessivness he felt for yoichi kicked in. Little tsubasa was the child he had the easiest access to, but afo said about himself he holds grudged and we see in kamino how happy he is when tomura asks him for help with bakugou. He was absolutely delighted by the thought to kill bakugou himself and since bakugou was izukus main bully that makes sense. I think he allowed the bulling to a certain point but then "protectivness" and possessivness kicked in and he let his anger out on little tsubasa and since he holds grudges was happy to get finally revenge on bakugou after all these years.
So basically his intentions startet out of pure malice, but he got used to this whole family life, fathership etc and startet to enjoy that while at the same time making excusses to himself that he was still just using inko and izuku for his own gain because the person afo lies the most to is actually himself. The demon lord doesnt love and wouldnt care for a wife and son afterall, just like a demon lord would use "crocodile tears" to CONFUSE his enemy after his brothers death and would spend 200 years getting said brother back just because he is a "possession" and not because he actually loves and misses his brother. Right?!
I think Izuku was originally a Vessel alternative for All for one, All for one did not have Tenko as the only candidate, he experimented and considered other options like Dabi and Number 6, I believe Izuku was a test, if Someone genetically related could be a vessel, and also curiosity of what the result would be of Mixing All for one with a fourth generation Quirk, just like he did with Shigaraki and Number 6 he possibly moved the pieces in an attempt to turn Izuku into what he wanted
All for one, just as he did with Number 6 and Shigaraki, encouraged heroic desires in Izuku, to later turn this into hatred and resentment, All for one, to avoid attracting attention, blocked Izuku's Quirk, making Izuku appear to be Quirkless, similar to what he did with Tenko, the difference is that he didn't remove the Factor here
Tumblr media Tumblr media
All for one knew that Izuku would be bullied for being Quirkless, and hoped that crushing his dreams would turn into hatred and resentment towards hero society, just knowing the injustice and cruelty of the world, generating the hatred that All for one needed, I don't think Allfor ordered Lil Tsubasa to be killed because he was bullying Izuku, but rather because he went too far and almost killed Izuku by throwing him from a great height.
However, Izuku held no grudge or hatred towards the people he was supposed to hate, for obvious reasons this made him less qualified to be a vessel than Shigaraki
Tumblr media
All for one probably abandoned his project with Izuku for good after All Might left him disfigured, not having shown himself suitable as a vessel, is perhaps the reason why All for one calls Izuku Worthless, if he fails to prove himself worthy of his vessel for All for one he is also not worthy of the One for All which is why he considered it a mistake on the part of the predecessors to entrust the OFA to him
As the Danger Sensor never activated with All for One, it is possible that he has a certain consideration towards Izuku, but he certainly wouldn't admit it.

It's interesting how the previous transfers, especially the Blood to Blood, didn't have that 'Glow' in the hand that Izuku has
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
What I find more interesting is that it seems like as if izuku isnt even aware that he is using the afo quirk to transfere the ofa vestiges. I mean, isnt it strange how he doesnt seem to wonder why he is able to do that? For like 200 years ofa was either transfered via blood to blood or by eating a hair. And here izuku comes, using the same quirk the main villain has and transfers it with his hands while there are glowing holes inside his palms and not once he is like "WTH did I just do???"
The thing is, its possible that the reason we dont see izuku react surprised by that is, because he is using his own afo quirk on a instinctiv level. Like, how baby birds instinctiv know how to fly, or animals know since birth how to swim even if they never did it before.
You are aware that I dont believe that izuku was born quirkless and there are actual hints that pointed that out long ago. Since he was a toddler he is obsessed with quirks and writes them down in his notebooks. His analytical skills how a quirk works and what its weaknesses are, his mumbling, his monologes, thats all characteristics he has in common with one person and thats afo. While afo "collects" quirks by stealing them and storing them inside his brain, izuku "collects" quirks by writing them down in his notebooks. Why? Because he believes he is quirkless! His notebooks are his brain where he stores all the quirks so to speak. He is not trying to steal quirks in the way afo does (and most likely never would) because he doesnt know he can! BUT we see that he in some way still uses it since he was small. His analyses, mumbling, monologes he does that all instictiv because the quirk still affects izukus personality. He is not aware that he has it, but he still uses the quirks characteristics by pure instinct since its still part of his body.
So when izuku uses the afo quirk to transfer the ofa vestiges, I believe the reason why he doesnt wonder what he just did, is because he always COULD have and it feels completly normal and natural to him. Its not an alien feeling. Its a part of him, so why should it feel weird? He always could do it. He is just not aware of that.

Its not to farfetched that he can hide them and normally hori is very focused on even the small details and he showed afo with holes in his palms long before it was offical he had them and no matter how weird the ankle was.
We see izuku using the afo quirk when he is transfering the ofa vestiges and there are glowing holes in his palms but no real holes (so far). Maybe because izukus afo quirk hasnt fully awaken yet. But if izuku can "hide" his holes and we only see them when they are glowing its possible afo can do the same.
Afterall the man can not only change his appearance but also his WHOLE DNA! So him hiding the holes shouldnt be a problem.
Personally Im more intrigued by the fact that afo very obviously wears a pullover of some sort. No suit jacket, no white shirt, no - a PULLOVER. Thats like the most normal basic type of clothes he has EVER weared!
mha 419 spoilers + DFO theorizing
Tumblr media
just a thing I noticed in AFO's memory of telling Kotaro to have more kids. you can't see the hole in his hand.
does that mean he doesn't always have them? does that mean that Izuku could have the AFO quirk and not have the holes?
idk i'm probably stretching lol. they're probably there and just can't be seen because of the angle.

Have you ever noticed how AFO never smiled before reading Captain Hero comics and creating his dream
I have actually noticed that and it what inspired one of my fanfics because most likely he was just going through the motions. He has just been surviving since day one with no rhyme or reason. Living every day trying to keep himself and his brother alive.
Tumblr media
A toddler should not be looking at men like a terrified animal because heard them saying how will be a carrier. Even if doesn't understand the words he likely can already tell they do not wish him well. And that is basically his life from the beginning.
What IS there to enjoy in his life? He's constantly scrapping by getting food and clothing off some thug off the street. Treated like a freak so he becomes a monster to make sure he is personally safe as is Yoichi.
Yoichi is able to stay safe and sound because AFO doesn't want him getting into trouble or hurt. This allows Yoichi to find things to enjoy and like, to gain interest outside of just surviving. As AFO basically banned him from helping in that regard.
Talk about the worst case of parentification, as AFO wouldn't even Realize he's being like a parent to Yoichi! He should be in the playground pushing kids and getting in trouble. Not scrapping with adults to make sure he and his brother can eat.
Most likely those Comic books were a kind of 'spark' of something different. As he feels like himself and Yoichi are always ignored and hated so related to the villain. He likely felt it was something relatable and then wanted that thus why wanted to emulate it.
As he likely already believed himself a monster from various sources and reasons. But now he can take that title for himself instead of it being thrown at him. He's no longer just some starving kid in the street hated for existing! He's going to be a Demon Lord and is hated because he is just that evil, he isn't a victim he's the monster!
So of course he's smiling. He finally has something to strive for! Completely unaware it going to end up leading him to being completely and utterly alone. Because he refuses to return to that boy with nothing just trying to survive.

How do you think AFO would be taken out?
Hard to say! All the heroes uniting against him as ~the ultimate evil~ might seem satisfying on some level, but it also plays directly into AFO's toxic comic book narrative and it doesn’t really "engage" with his character in a totally satisfying way, if that makes sense. I'm firmly on team "afo shouldn't get what he wants, Ever" so I'm not a fan of any ending that merrily sends him off into his next life as a "demon lord" instead of actively trying to rip that mask from him. Hori hasn't really let me down on this front, yet-- and as I suspected, it does seem as though chapter 419's AFO is more or less picking up where body!AFO's character arc left off. AFO's core desires as a human and the immensely fragile "heart" he's hidden away are both things that are being directly challenged in the most recent chapter, too:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Izuku, the hero, constantly inspires others to come to his aid because he doesn't hide his humanity, his identity, or his struggles from others-- people see him fighting for his life and realize that he is "just like them," and that motivates them to rush to his side and offer help. Meanwhile, AFO finds himself completely alone because he wont let go of the demon lord role and accept his own humanity. Something something We Still Need To Know His Name smthing sm.
With all of that in mind, I still think the most appropriate way of defeating him involves forcing him to confront his own humanity + weakness in all its ugliness (which Hori has already been doing at a pretty steady rate this arc!) and ultimately forcing him to take responsibility for Yoichi's death. This might seem like a massive leap from the person AFO is right now, but depending on how things go, I do think Hori could pull it off.
Anyway, as for what I would like to see:
Personally, I would like an end where he willingly lets Yoichi go (and by proxy, finally lets Tenko go). Not because I think this would redeem him (it wont) or because I want him redeemed (i don't), but because I do feel like something along these lines would be the natural conclusion to his character arc and the best way to symbolize him accepting death/his mistakes. He came into the world desperately gripping onto Yoichi, and was unable to ever truly live or truly die due to his obsession-- so it makes sense to me that AFO will only be able to leave this world when he finally lets Yoichi go. Like.... even now, we see him stubbornly persisting with the idea of conquering the world even though he feels it's totally pointless-- with the implication that he's doing this because the demon lord role and the captain hero comics are literally the only thing he has atp that still connect him to Yoichi in some capacity.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If I end up being right and the OFA embers now exist within Tenko's body, then ideally, I still want some sort of conversation + resolution between the brothers before Yoichi finally passes on with the rest of the OFA embers. I'll admit that I've never been 100% fond of the idea of reading Izuku & Tenko's story as Yoichi/AFO's "good ending", simply because so much of Tenko's story is about reclaiming his own identity (+ detangling himself from his abusers) and so much of Izuku's story is about finding his own identity-- which is why I feel the final resolution to the OFAFO plot needs to be between AFO and Yoichi, not Izuku and Tenko.
I actually don't want Tenko to kill him! I think I've said this before, but I feel this outcome would be only satisfying to folks who want Tenko to have very surface-level revenge on his abuser w/o thinking about the effect this act would have on Tenko himself. I personally feel it wouldn't do Tenko any favors, mentally, since the crux of AFO's abuse involved convincing Tenko that he only exists to destroy. And people really hate to admit it, but-- Tenko sincerely loved AFO and I don't want him to have to repeat the tragedy of being forced to kill someone he loved all over again (even if they don't deserve that love by any stretch of the word). Like, a lot of people want Tenko to take AFO out the same way he took Kotaro out, but I feel this would only emphasize how Tenko and AFO are trapped in an endlessly repeating cycle.
Tumblr media
side note: Kotaro coming directly from AFO's stomach/womb during the 270's vestige realm sequence feels extremely intentional now, what with the constant cannibalism and pregnancy imagery surrounding AFO and Tenko. MHA continues to be a masterful example of visual storytelling and Horikoshi continues to be a straight up freak for no real reason /positive!
A big part of Tenko's healing was always going to involve him confronting his feelings for Kotaro, specifically-- all of his love and disappointment and wishes and anger. And with that in mind, it feels like Hori is setting AFO up to act as a sort of Kotaro proxy for this next stretch of Tenko's character arc (even TomurAFO's current hairstyle and facial structure reminds me of a mix of Kotaro x AFO x Toshi.... Hori really said "Tomura's final character design is gonna be a mish-mash of every potential father-figure who has ever let him down byeeeeee :)" and he was sooooo sick for doing that wtf). Anyway, I know people like to joke about AFOtaro, but honestly, the narrative itself really does justify the read of Tenko being AFO and Kotaro's traumababy lmfao...., 😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also worth mentioning is that this iteration of AFO/TomurAFO has pupils, despite there being no Tenko component to his personality at this time. AFO's lack of pupils are textually/canonically meant to convey his inability to "see" others as people, so I'm very interested to see where Hori intends to take things from here.

Okay, hear me out, I totally understand that sick and twisted DFO would totally be canon if the theory pans out. And don't get me wrong I love that, truly, it's one of his ehm many quirks.
But just, ugh, the idea that AFO genuinely loves Izuku in a not just possessive "you are part of me" but also in a "I will burn everything down just to see you smile" way.
Like big bad, supervillain who has zero moral code, kept every single baby book, toy, and article of clothing Izuku had throughout his childhood. This man has a container of baby teeth in a pretty little jar and all of his underlings think it's from one of his enemies, no it's from AFO's hero son. This man is a hoarder!!! I mean people have been building this head canon for years, but instead of hoarding jewels and pretty things, he hoards photocopies of every analysis Izuku has even written, Izuku's favorite stuffed animals and his baby blanket that are so tattered and loved that people think they're from HIS childhood.
LIKE PLEASE.
The idea that baby Izu nearly saved the world because his father almost gave up on villainy. It makes me sob!!!!
Baby Izu bringing home injured animals off the side of the street and DFO miraculously healing them to make Izuku happy. Then proceeding to do that years later when he sees an injured bird or something, because he misses his son.
Like you know how parents always talk about how they'll never see their kids as anything but their babies. That they just never truly grow up. THAT is AFO coded to me. Like he comes back from being abroad and is absolutely aghast when he finds out Izuku doesn't sleep with his stuffed rabbit anymore. He keeps the damn ugly rabbit around just in case Izuku gets a nightmare but will cut your throat out if you look at him the wrong way.
The idea that he left to protect his son is great, amazing, spectacular.
But him leaving because Izuku was making him weak kills me too. That after 200 years of stubbornly fighting for world domination and your toddler babbles about how much of a great Papa you are, and you question whether any of it is worth it.
The idea that Izuku could grow to become AFO's Jiminy Cricket, his little heart that forces him onto a straight path. Or even that AFO would throw everything away for his heroic son without hesitation.
Or that this man is so grief stricken but not just losing his brother for good but knowing that he'll never be able to go back to his family. That Izuku is his nemesis' successor, and they are sworn enemies as a result.
OR GOD FORBID, HE DIES OFFICIALLY BECAUSE HE COULD NEVER KILL HIS BABY!!

Why Ichigo And Rukia Ended Up With The Right People
In Bleach, Ichigo ends up with Orihime, Rukia is with Renji. Since it's part of the shonen genre, it doesn't center around romance and would be unlikely to focus on romantic relationships, as there were other interesting and exciting things happening.
The Problem With Ichigo X Rukia
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Even though he becomes a Shinigami, he isn't technically a soul. He was not born in Soul Society and never died to go there. If he wanted to be with Rukia, he would either have to wait and die from old age or die right away and part with everyone else way too soon. Rukia is a soul who ages extremely slowly and will probably never die. Their families are in different worlds, so their priorities are incompatible.
This might be the single biggest factor in Orihime's favor against Rukia: she won't outlive Ichigo by hundreds of years. After all, Ichigo is a substitute Soul Reaper, but not a full-fledged one. It was only ever touched on vaguely because the shinigami are all spirits/souls, and things like time and age aren't something that hold much meaning to them anymore. Roughly in the beginnings of the series, Rukia mentions that she's 10 times older than Ichigo (who was 15 at the time).
Ichigo also looks like Kaien Shiba, Rukia’s mentor and the man that she admired. Due to this, even Byakuya himself understood why Rukia would feel a connection for Ichigo. Rukia realized the parallels between Kaien’s last fight with Ichigo’s battle against Grand Fisher, the Hollow that had killed Masaki Kurosaki. As such, she views them as similar and so would be unlikely to have romantic feelings for someone resembling her late mentor. In fact, she keeps comparing Kaien and Ichigo throughout the Soul Society arc.
Rukia and Renji
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rukia and Renji grew up together as orphaned Soul children in Soul Society. They shared the same experiences, jointly discovering the gift of Reiatsu that earned them a place in the Shin’o Academy. Their mutual goal was to become Shinigami, gain higher ranks, and grow stronger. When Rukia tells Renji the Kuchiki clan wants to adopt her, he acts happy but is deeply upset because he predicts they will grow apart. Still, he tries to hide his sadness because Rukia finally has a family. Unfortunately, Renji falsely believes that he's not important to her anymore.
While this saddened Rukia, he only reacted in the way he believed was best for her, and that ended up making him feel guilty about her potential execution. Chapter 98 was devoted to how Renji considered Rukia an unattainable “star” that he, a “tramp,” could never reach. If he just wanted friendship, why did he feel he had to stay out of Rukia’s way? If she just wanted friendship, why did she expect him to protest? The answer is simple: Her adoption didn’t get in the way of friendship, but in the way of the “something more” that they wanted.
Tumblr media
Renji's feelings towards her have always been apparent, as far back as when they were kids. As they originally met around several years ago in the Soul Society, they've been around each other for quite a while. One evening, the two of them were unsuccessfully attempting to catch fish when Renji finally managed to snare one. When he turned around, he saw the rest of his friends staring at Rukia longingly. As anyone with a crush themselves would do, Renji admonished his friends for looking at her with love-struck eyes.
Renji's feelings for Rukia are crystal clear, even when he doesn't acknowledge them. On the other hand, Rukia finds it difficult to express her emotions, especially after joining the Kuchiki clan and her stranied relationship with her brother Byakuya. However, there are several instances that prove her love for Renji beyond the shadow of a doubt. In fact, Rukia obviously cares for Renji even after he attacks Ichigo in the Agent of the Shinigami arc. Although Ichigo and Rukia also love each other, their friendship is considerably less intense than her lifelong attachment for Renji.
Ichigo and Orihime
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Orihime’s crush on Ichigo was evident from the first few chapters. She even had trouble being articulate in front of him, although part of her character development was how she gained confidence in herself. As for him, he was ready to sacrifice his life for her from the very beginning, when he put himself between her and her brother Sora (who became a Hollow). He almost always singles her out, speaks up for her and he even defends her.
When the Espadas allow Orihime to say goodbye to one person before she is taken to Hueco Mundo, she picks Ichigo even though he's still unconscious from an earlier fight. She explains how she could have picked one of the others, but Ichigo was the person she needed to see one last time. Orihime says how there were so many things she wished she had gotten to do and how she would like to live five times to try multiple different things, but that she'd always fall in love with the same person... Ichigo.
Ichigo literally came back from death for Orihime during his fight with Ulquiorra, all because she pleaded him not to die. Orihime also places her body between Ichigo and Acidwire to protect Ichigo. Ichigo puts himself between Grimmjow’s Ceros and Orihime without hesitation. Orihime more than willingly goes to fight Yhwach alongside Ichigo, serving as the latter's defense. Even Ulquiorra, Grimmjow, and Nnoitora all mocked him for wanting to protect her and underlined how she was the motivation for him to fight more fiercely.
In the early chapters, Orihime knew that Kon wasn't the real Ichigo when he was running wild inside Ichigo's body and being his perverted self. He jumped into Ichigo's classroom, made a move on Orihime, and then kissed Tatsuki before being forced to flee. Orihime knew right away that wasn't the real Ichigo, forgiving him of actions that would have got him in hot water with any other girl. It's a testament to how much Orihime cared about him. That said, Ichigo would have never acted that way in the first place.
Ichigo & Rukia Contributed To Each Other’s Relationships
It's kinda interesting to note that both Rukia and Ichigo have worked to boost each other's relationships. Remember, Rukia was the one who dragged Ichigo to apologize to an injured Orihime. Rukia was the initial reason why Ichigo and Orihime came closer together and were more expressive of their desire to protect each other. At the same time, Ichigo was the catalyst for Rukia and Renji to become close again after decades of avoiding each other. Ichigo was not meant to interfere in their relationship as a third party, but to help them realize the complete range of their feelings for each other.

Yeah, izuku simply doesnt understand yet what just happend. Most readers still have trouple to understand what happend because they believed afo is gone for sure, so imagine how izuku must feel. One second he was able to finally reach tenko, one second later tenko was eaten by giant afo and forcefully pushed back to reality.
uh I really don't like the way this sounds

As a child afo killed a group of man because they attacked his brother (its only hinted but if we look at the bruise on yoichis face and him lying on the ground as if he had been pushed down its pretty obvious these people attacked the two toddlers first and afo just protected yoichi and himself), so yeah if he found out that izuku was not only bullied but also BEATEN and one of these kids happend to be garakis grandson, there is no way afo wouldnt take actions. I think its possible he allowed the bulling to a certain point in the hope izukus hate for bakugou would grow over the years, but when it startet to get physical he let his anger out on the child he had the easiest access to - which in that case was little tsubasa.
I just realized something really funny about DFO theory
So the kid with the wings that bullied Deku alongside Bakugo that's Garaki's grandson (and he was made into a Nomu right, one of the ones Stain killed yeah)
So
Lmfao what if AFO saw his boy getting bullied by his bestie's grandson and was like "Garaki. KILL your grandson. He is BULLYING my boy."
And Garaki was like "👍 on it. Killing him now."
