Honest critique here: I feel like you could have delivered that message more properly with an out of character post spreading vaccine awareness instead of an entire Twitter thread with the avengers vs a single antivaxxer straw man because it makes us folks who support vaccines look like we need to defend our argument in a fictional setting specifically crafted for that purpose. Genuine opinion, no hate on you or the blog I just think it's important that you consider this. Have a lovely day.

I get what you’re saying, but I don’t see why it’s mutually exclusive. Plenty of people make those posts. I wanted to do something that was in the format of my blog, and today I happened to chose to talk about the vaccine. I wanted to message you to talk about this and ask you more about your thoughts, but I can’t because you don’t follow me. So my question is, why are you so concerned about a random post by a blog you don’t follow that you feel the need to come and accuse me of making pro-vaxxers look that way? I make political statements on my blog (though I think we can probably both agree the vaccine shouldn’t be a political issue), and I’m entitled to do so. And I promise you, no one who is anti-vax follows me anyway considering some of the other posts I have made lol.

Expressing opinions comes in all shapes and sizes. Trying to make someone feel bad for the way they do it by crafting a condescending message made to look constructive is not a good way to deal with that. I’m not going to stop posting political things on my blog because you think there might be better ways to handle politics. Of course there are. I’m here to have fun, and if along the way I share my opinion, you’re going to have to find it within yourself to live with that.

Also, as a tip for the future, saying, “I just think it’s important that you consider this. Have a lovely day,” and “no hate” has never once made somebody feel good.
