I think there’s a discussion to be had on Zuko and his “effeminate” portrayal...

There are some people that view a happy Zuko, one devoid of the rage and pain and loathing that once filled him as being feminine. That because he’s not outwardly annoyed, or aggressive, or unhappy, that... that he’s not being portrayed as manly as he should be or whatever.

On tumblr we have these odd double standards, where we support the idea of men embracing femininity because they’re comfortable in their masculinity... where men can wear skirts and dresses and flower crowns and not lose a shred of dignity because they’re solid in their identity as men. So why is there this disdain for men who grow emotionally? Who confront their pain and resolve the issues they carry? WHY??
