So here's a thing I've been working on for months now.

Just a teaser

Ever since I was a lil creature, I was very good at playing things by ear. (Also why I do a lot of remixes.) I always had a hard time coming up with my own stuff, but I thought why not make it easier by making it a fnaf song? And an SL one at that, because favoritism.

Somehow, this works.

Yes, there is singing. I may not be trained to sing, but I'm a music person and I'm not tone deaf, so I tried my darndest. I don't wanna spoil it, so instrumental for you. 😼

The goal is to make the entire thing, music and amv, as close to a bonus feature cheesily edited together music video on a DVD of a home release movie series from the early 2000s as possible. (And on a more personal note, portray how SL has been interpreted in my brain over the past 8 years.)

If that isn't achieved, a cactus will appear on my left elbow.

In an earlier post, I listed the evidence pointing towards the one and only metallic noodle clown as being some robot form of neurodivergent. I have since dubbed this as "bot-tism."

(The Sonic half of my brain argues an episode of Aosth touching upon this concept and calling it "mechanically challenged." Egh.)

Since we're taking April, I finally finished this sketch from a while ago.

I made a whole render of it for reference and everything, but I ended up drawing over the limbs and stuff anyway.

It is actually a redraw from 2020! Blech the messaging is so blatant.

As you can clearly see, this was drawn and posted when I killed the part that cringes.

I left the new and improved version textless and up for interpretation, but if you want my exact thought process, then see below the cut, because I don't wanna ruin the fun for anyone else.

The 2020 drawing was the first instance of me using Ennard's mask as a metaphor for "masking." Although not used directly in a ND sense, but for an internal struggle nonetheless.

Ennard’s desire to be human, and the ambiguity of how his mind even works is a perfect metaphor for a number of neuro types.

The former can be interpreted as many NDs struggle of being treated differently than NTs in a social setting. Like I said in the previous post, they only wear their mask when they know they're being perceived, and when he does finally get his skin suit, it only lasts for a week before it fails him. Burnout.

"But oh! Silly goose, why don't you just be yourself?" The neighbors reactions to the skin suit deteriorating. The entire point is that they need look/act "normal" to be treated like a human.

The latter can be interpreted to how many NDs have so many differing brain signals than a NTs, that they aren't even aware of.

To add on to the other post, Fnaf 6 seems to characterize Molten Freddy/Scrap Baby as if they were mindless entities that must be destroyed, hence "burn it" in the 2020 drawing. This bled into a whole different interp of Ennard as more animalistic than he really is. It wasn't widely used, but it was noticeable enough for 14-15 y/o me to draw about it. This to me is a lot like what I said prior about masking and looking "normal." This interp seems to paint him from an unknowing observers point of view. 'How dare you visually emote with your hands' or, 'how dare you get stressed out over the complexity of sound or light, weirdo.' You know. Which is probably my injustice sensitivity typing up paragraphs backing up a fictitious robot.

The latest version has his mask removed voluntarily, while covering his face his with his own hand. The mirrors are now silly mirrors, the floor is a spiral, and the reflections remain of himself, but also of his components, and another character of importance on the far left. (It's a bloodied Michael hand.)

He voluntarily unmasks, only to be surrounded by distorted reflections of himself. The Funtimes can represent the many oddities of his mind, and the aforementioned bloodied Michael hand can represent the damage that can be done to yourself or others if you dont take the accountability and measures to learn your own boundaries.

Also the irony that the horror clown character endures how a horror clown character would torment their victim.

The true message: Unmasking is a process.

Also, whenever I draw the Withereds or Nightmares, I always keep the "very much loved saggy stuffed animal" idea in mind. Especially with the huge gashes in their limbs. Like torn fabric. They are all very shaped, but pretend they're full of beads and fluff, and apply gravity. It will make them look much more organic, which is where I'm pretty sure the 'Old Disney' connections occur. ;]

On the polar opposite, like the Funtimes/Scraps/Toys, I keep "badniks and old dolls from the 80s" in mind.

For the Glamrocks, I keep "Jem and the Holograms, and the weird phase of early digital 2d animation" in mind. Idk how to explain the latter. 2000s cartoons just kind move different than the 90s, and for some reason I attribute that to SB.

Thinking about 2015 fnaf gives my brain the same signals as if there were like a high frequency from an old TV. Depends how well I end up putting myself in kid me's place. Like I'm internally screen recording or something lmao.

I like take a step back from my brain rot sometimes and laugh, because my brain development from age 10-now would have been shockingly different, had it not been for some Texan man's imaginary robots.

Is Scott aware of the "being a fnaf in in middle school in the late 2010s -> neurodivergence" pipeline? Surely he knows how dearly the fanbase holds his characters. I'd have to watch the 50/20 interview again.

So I was thinking about how characters that FazEnt should have no idea exist have cutouts in Curse of Dreadbear and Security Breach. I got nothing for Shadow Bonnie's, but of course, I can explain Ennard's.

(Lucky his face isn't drawn in so I can't see the missing eyebrow)

So the knowledge of his existence can be explained by this.

This whole sequence was recorded. And it's not like the funtimes didn't know about this camera, it's literally the reason you live after night 4. But where is the office connected to these cameras?

Ah whatever. Anyway, interesting choice of toxic waste. My guess is that people who see this bidpedal mass of wires probably think he's just some scrap metal that's alive because it's near some radioactive junk yard. As to why it's connected to Fazbear's, is probably, A. The mask. and/or B. Rumors about this company run rampant, and it looks like an endoskeleton. Other possibility, FazEnt is trying to cover their tracks by going "haha whaaat? No, this thing is totally not related to us at all. This is what he is."

The lack of eyes is notable, especially since the one from behind his ear seems to have been translated to a large bolt.

His hands are also very hand shaped, instead of knot shaped, but I'll just give it the benefit of a doubt that it's just easier to draw normal hands, and no one else but me is going to look too hard at it. (Same thing with the coloration of his hat)

The balloons are definitely just a pennywise thing, but where else do we see balloons in this series representing something? Hmm. Could be a stretch of an argument against Molten MCI, saying that this is post Baby eviction, and there are 3 ghosts left.

Idk that's all I got.

Can't even say "Hyperfix" character at this point. If Ennard has been a hyperfix for 8 years, I'm pretty sure he's his own special interest, within a special interest.

I really like how 4 of these are robots, 4 of these are from the same franchise (and its not the same 4,) Spinel is the only """girl,""" 1 these is a way darker and gruesome character from the rest and happens to be the first hyperfix, and that they can all fit on a slider that goes from "video game" to "cartoon."

Could I make a whole essay on how each of them stand out to me in depth? Yes. Am I actually going to do that? Maybe for one of them.

Update on the elusive front facing Ennard render:

The trading card seems to use the same render as the one I ripped previously,

HOWEVER.

They do not line up!

The only things chagned are the position of his arms, and the loss of head tilt.

And of course I thought, "no way Scott made a completely new render and STILL left out the eyebrow???"

But upon closer inspection, it would seem that he loaded up the session from the Extras Menu render, and changed the camera so you're looking at him head on, instead of a 3/4 view.

(This is not my card btw, this picture was sent to me. I did get a pack, but it ended up having the main 4 from AR, and Funtime Freddy. I will draw the eyebrow in when I get Ennard.)

Okay I didn't expect this post to be an essay, but here's my Fnaf 3 9th anniversary drawings, with very extensive detail into my thought process.

Love me some gore explosion Springlock failure, but realistically, the suit would just soak with blood, and William would be a pathetic gurgling mess. (Like the movie. Took it like a champ, too.) I know it's because the minigame shows it spewing everywhere, but I'm pretty sure it was it's way of telling you that that man is finished with the hardware limitations an Atari or a super early arcade cabinet would have.

The springlocks depicted as Frankenstein's monster lookin bolts, and the flies with dot trails is my favorite part. Also, the hole in his chest is vaguely heart shaped. I saw it in a video redesigning Scraptrap and thought it was genius. But that was so long ago icr who did that video. :')

I rarely ever draw Springtrap, and it think it's because how humanly proportionate he is, which is hard to toonify. The weird withering patterns don't help either. I looked at Kosperry's design for extra guidance.

For being right-side up trapezoid shaped, upside-down isosceles triangle in a buff fashion works really well for him.

And the best part, I color picked and drew some inspiration for Spring Bonnie from this suspiciously shaped robian from Sonic SatAM. (Left)

The backgrounds of Robotnik’s lair gave me major Fnaf 3 vibes when I came back to that show. Probably because it's so "polluted green," and might as well smell putrid.

I have spent the last few weeks watching all of episodes of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (including the Christmas Blast Special) and kept a tally to the best of my abilities just how many times these phrases have been said.

It was a journey, it was a fun ride, with a few bumpy roads, a few obvious plots, and so many wholesome moments and missed opportunities. I got lots of funny photos out of it, and plenty of headcanons.

My favorite episodes are Tails' New Home, Tails in Charge, and Tails Prevails. (but I think those were obvious.)

Do I recommend doing this? No, not really. But it was fun either way!

So, after 100%ing Side Order, and getting the rainbow autism badge of completion, a few more logs stuck out to me.

This is where the Help Wanted parallels come in. This is giving very "they scanned some old circuit boards to use for the game," And a security hole? As in the Security can be Breached???

Also, Eight being the first test subject is reaaallly reminding me of HW Jeremy, which is not a good sign.

She says "engineers from the old days" which I assumed she meant some other Octarians she knew, but then I beat Agent 4's pallette, and Order's notes had this to say:

YOU MEAN TO TELL ME AGENT 4, OUR SPLATOON 2 PROTAG, GOOFED UP AND SET ORDER LOOSE? Agent 4 seems like our Tape Girl.

BUT. We never get a follow up on 4! Unless...

NO.

NO PARALLEL CANON CANNOT BE GLITCHTRAP STYLE MIND SLAVES.

The one in front is the only one with hair, and that is the default Agent 4 getup, like how all Agent 3 offical artwork has the longer hair.

Unless I'm forgetting a throwaway line of dialogue that proves otherwise, that's rough. 🧍

I beat Side Order in 3 hours on my 3rd try at 3am. No I am not joking. I used a slosher. I currently have 9 lockers yet to open, so if anything important comes up, I will update.

I couldn't help but notice the parallels right at the beginning, freeing Marina from Order's control. I went neuron activation, VANESSA.

But then they started talking more about Octo Expansion lore, which made me get all giddy, because 14 y/o me had the biggest fascination with the Sanitized Octolings, and how Commander Tartar built up his scheme to the point we encounter him.

They referred something or other about the color chips/pallettes as "souls" which caught my attention. They're like broken soul pieces? Alright. We already know a comically large kitchen utensil blends octopuses into life goop. What exactly happens to the ones that look like this?

Why are you green?

Marina's logs read:

So okay. I, personally, despise Molten MCI. I think it takes away of a ton of character's individuality, and makes more things confusing, all to explain some old man's rambling in a non-canon ending.

It works for Splatoon's case, because we already had no information about any of the octolings before Sanitization. (Aside from Acht.) We didn’t have time to make that up for ourselves, because we never knew about any of this beforehand, like how we filled in the gaps with underwritten characters for fnaf.

However I'll keep reading and see what else can line up here.

This is leaning into TFC territory. So for less Splatoon knowledgeable readers, Marina is trying to take, essentially what is the Freddy amalgam in TFC, and trying to deconstruct it with each animatronic having everything from their respective endoskeletons. That's best way I can explain it. (For a reader more knowledgeable with Steven Universe, she's trying to fix the forced fusions like Yellow.)

Except the difference here is that the products of Kamabo are, well, orderly, and not animalistic.

The logs that sold it for me:

So in fnaf speak: From a Molten MCI perspective, (blech,) melting down the infused metal, transferring it into data, and putting that data gloop into playable avatars in an arcade game where they can choose the bits of remnant that belong to them, putting themselves back together.

However, with my neuron activation Order=Mimic, that would mean Mimic MCI, but WAIT COME BACK. IT DOESNT HAVE TO BE.

I have yet to get the rest of the lore bits, but as far as I know, Order, (I'm not calling him Smollusk,) is an AI with the generalized ideals Kamabo has programming into the Sanitized Octolings. (I swear he's just leftovers of Tartar. I know it in my heart.) Mimic copies everything it sees, and learns incredibly fast. It learned the tragedies and rumors of Fazbear Ent, and according to Tiger Rock, he's running most of the Pizza Plex, which makes profits of said tragedies he's learned. Did Mimic orchestrate everything? No. He probably has no understanding of anything he's doing, he just does it because that's all he knows. The company started it.

Basically,

Kamabo Co.= Sleazy NewGen Fazbear Ent.

Order=Mimic.

How ever this ends, I'm using as evidence for how I predict the SteelWool plot to resolve/hj

Conc1usion: Marina and Henry should meet up. Well maybe not, if Marina wants permanent results.

I find it telling that with a plot so similar to a Fnaf theory that I hate, I actually really like this idea. And I think it's because it's not Fnaf. It's almost the exact same concept, but it makes much more sense and flows better in Splatoon's world. Probably because it was intentionally written that way, and is supposed to be shamelessly absurd and scifi. I like that I'm able to enjoy a concept I hate.

Analogy: Chocolate is good. I like when a pre existing food item I enjoy has an added chocolate exterior. Like strawberries. Sometimes, there are instances where that is not the case, like bacon. It exsists, and you either love it or hate it. I like both base consumables, and I like the additive, but it works better for one than the other.

Literal speak: I like the scifi horror concept of brainwashing with the actual person person being trapped or lost in a specific state, while their body is just another puppet for the main antagonist, and it takes some Cyber Chase shenanigans to free everyone. That's a rad concept. I just like it better when it's applied to a world that is planned for that kind of take, rather than to a world I already enjoyed, but scrambled to cut itself to fit that shape because it almost fit. It works better for a wacky scifi dystopia, not a campy paranormal horror.

Conclu2ion: Some things are best left for other stories.

Oh and both franchises have a known history of bangin soundtrack.

Forgot to put this here lol.

I got the roller skates in Splatoon 3, and finally finished my in-game cosplay of Scrap Baby. 🥴 Made one of Molten Freddy too, because why not.

I have named them "Splat Bloopy" and "Fried Inky" respectively.

Reference:

I put Splat Bloopy on Neo Splatana Stamper, because first of all, it's like her claw, but I chose Neo for the Toxic Mist sub. Seems up her alley. I think Reefslider would be a better special for her instead of Crab because I imagine it like her zooming up to you and taking a chomp with her claw. (Although I have been playing Flingza a lot with her fit, so maybe that's her second main.)

I was really stuck between Gold Dynamo and Explosher for Fried Inky, because Explosher seems obvious, it's literally boiling hot ink, but it doesn’t have the same mobility that Molten Freddy himself has. Explosher is sluggish, and is an anchor weapon. Molten Freddy is a slithering pile of wires, he fast. So I instead put him on Gold Dynamo. Sure it doesn't roll fast but it can wipe a team fast, has a very versatile sub, and the Super Chumps as a special are like all his eyes.

I've made a few other characters, but I'll get to them in a separate post.

OKAY so Walten Files 4 dropped, and being someone who lives in the general vicinity of Brighton, I wanted to find where this scene actually is.

So, I found the thinnest body of water to where you could see the other side, and...what this?

First of all the body of water is "South Ore Creek"

Second of all, WHAT DO YOU MEAN K-9 FACILITY??

As you can see, there are no roads no NOTHING. Not even pictures. Even if Martin just made this mark himself, there's no pictures that he used of the facility in his videos.

HOWEVER. They are wheelchair accessible. Probably because you'll need one if you get out alive.

I haven't been in with TWF fandom in a hot minute, so let me know if there's something I missed.

That's my favorite part of his character. His symbolism is very flexible, and can vary by the person. For one, they can represent transitioning, or anything gender, for another, they can represent ND masking.

I found this YouTube comment that generalizes what I personally find cool about him pretty well. Except I'm more leaning on the "has his own autonomy" interp, and less of the "it's a caged animal" interp.

Like look at em. What a dork. He'd kill me.

I love Tumblr's interpretations of Ennard because we really all just looked at this wire abomination tormented by the souls of dead children and thought "oh yeah that thing's genderfluid" and I think that's beautiful
