HIGH SPEED CHASES, CONGRESSIONAL VIOLENCE AND MORE ... a new episode of my podcast dropped today, where I chatted with Leaf-Chronicle Reporter Jennifer Babich about her career in television and newspaper journalism. As the title suggests, some of her stories are pretty wild...

This week in my column for the Leaf-Chronicle, I talked about my kids’ aversion to clothes, and I’m not sharing any pictures of that.

Today in my Leaf Chronicle humor column, I talk about what it’s like being the bad guy. Here’s an excerpt...
My wife and I discovered a certain power my voice has over our daughter. Turns out, if I lower it deep enough and project it loud enough, it causes a sort of temporary paralysis.
Rowan’s entire body freezes. Whether she’s shredding toilet paper, swatting her brother or just causing general mayhem, she halts, unable to move or speak. The one exception is a slight tremble in her hands.
Amanda, being the clever mother she is, realized just how useful this new tool could be. So now, much like a radio station overplaying the newest hit song, she’s eager to use it whenever Rowan defies her.

My CORONAMULLET saga continues in my Leaf-Chronicle column today: ---- “This is the longest I’ve seen your hair get.” I nodded and brushed several pesky strands away from my ear. They tumbled right back over it, which tickled in a way I still wasn’t used to and made me jump. “Yea,” I agreed, “but you still think I’m hot, right?” Amanda placed a hand on my head and ran her fingers – every so slowly and lovingly – through my hair. “Sweetie,” she whispered, “you were never hot.” ----

Here’s an excerpt of my weekly humor column in The Leaf-Chronicle newspaper, which details the trials and tribulations of a new parent in the middle of a global pandemic. This week continued the saga of my CORONAMULLET! (I hate that thing.)
