JIMMY PAGE !!! I missed drawing Jimmy so much :( I know this drawing is very simple, but I feel that simplicity makes it very special. This drawing feels nostalgic and I love that feeling 🖤

Ladies, Gentleman and Gentlefolk, James Patrick Page
Snips, snails and puppy dog tails
That is what they say boys are made of.
His facade was one of boyish cuteness,
but his core was very different from the rest.
And with that we know,
that not all men are created equal-
No, not him at least.
He was made from fire and brimstone
Forged from the very hand of the gods
be they good or evil.
He was made from deepest golden
honey so sweet, that it would drip
from from his very fingers
every time he played.
There are times however that the honey
turns into the most feral gutteral of
hunger, greed and utter possessiveness
One deep stare from his deep mahogany orbs
and you'd know that his darkness had washed
ashore.
The way his lashes gently kissed at his cheekbones
when he'd blink. . that long cold staring.
The blink meant. . . it was time for business.
The master of six strings was now your
master as well, to which there'd be no return from.
He'd play you much like his long nimble fingers
would pluck and pull at the most viable strings
of his most beloved guitars.
And you. . ah but you, made the most sounds that
he truly loved to hear within the darkest depths
of his desires.
You are his instrument, his passion.
The musician is your master.
And he will play you like he's never played before-

On this day... - April 8th
On this day Led Zeppelin performed:
+ 1969 : Bluesville 69 Club / The Cherry Tree in Welwyn Garden City, UK
“The knobs turn and the sound quickly becomes unbearable. A small box and an antenna that generates an evil sound, this is the definition on “Sonic Wave”. […] The pieces are linked together quickly and demonstrate mastery of each member of the group.” – ‘Finally, good word: Led Zeppelin Bluesville’ by Bruno Ducourant, Rock & Folk
+ 1970 : Dorton Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
“By the evening’s end the concert had become a tremendous ‘happening’ with hordes of screaming fans massed around the stage, grooving to the Zeppelin’s hard rock sounds. […] The performers displayed amazing energy, starting the performance with a fervour that takes most groups an hour to acquire. As the program progressed, they danced, leaped, cavorted, and literally covered the stage with their movements. […] The group was called back for four encores, with many fans remaining after the show was ended, begging for more. Led Zeppelin was a definite hit in Raleigh.” – ‘Zeppelin makes it – Draws capacity crowd’ by M. Haynes
