You know, one time I read a fanfic and it triggered my psychosis, sent me into a month long episode THEN a whole year later I was on ao3 just mindlessly scrolling, I came across the fanfic title and it gave me a panic attack, but something compelled me to click it, i didn't read it but i did scroll through it, why? mental illness.

This is me responding to your old(?) post about someone else's fiction not being able to hurt you, this is probably just a me thing but mental illness makes you do things and react to things in insane ways that sometimes you cant control. I knew while reading that it was affecting me in some way, but I kept reading because well, I'm mentally ill, and then a month of my life dissapeared lol

I did after the fact comment to the author and just kinda, told them about what happened, but I didn't harrassed them or something, -

-but when something does what this fanfiction did to me then you're basically obligated to let the creator know I think(they are a really good writer), I'm an adult and the fanfic was in the ballpark of something I would read and if like, 59% of it was taken out and it had a happy ending I would be fine but oh well

Oh boy, I'm starting to have a panic attack just typing this out holy hell anyways uh, I'm not disagreeing with you(?) but I am saying, don't be too quick to dismiss someone who says a piece of fiction fucked with them? idk sorry, have a good one

god i always feel so awkward asking people to give me credit when theyve used my icons or transparents jfksjjfd

like ik i didnt like. draw these or anything, i just took official art and did a bunch of edits.... but it Does take quite a bit of time to make them, and it also requires having a good eye for icon-making to have them actually look nice in Icon Size

like i gotta keep it visually pleasing and add color adjustments but have it still recognizeable what is in the picture when small, cropping just right so its not too zooomed out/too close and also centered or off-center in a way that fits the pic better, choosing/editing the background, any extra details i edit/draw on, dont have it be cluttered, etc. some of the transparent i make are even from bad quality and/or small pics that i have to manually clean up and basically draw over bits to make them look nice.

im always putting a lot of thought and work into making my icons nice and my transparents clean so i feel like i deserve credit for them! and yet when it comes down to approaching someone to ask for credit when theyre using one im just like ah, >.<;; could you credit me pls... if you dont mind... if thats okay with you... 👉👈

Had a discussion with a close friend last night and I'm curious.

Feel free to rb and tell me about your childhood best buddies! ^_^ Mine was a unicorn that my grandmother made me when I was 3 named Kasma, and I still have her!

#i used to collect stuffed animals as a kid and every one of them had a name and personality #my favorites i sewed clothes and sleeping bags for and they'd sleep in a row next to my pillow #when i moved years ago i donated most to charity but i kept my favorites #they're in storage now but I'll put them on display someday

so in third grade I told two of my friends I could talk to horses & made up a really dramatic backstory of how I “discovered” my powers & our teacher overheard us talking about it and told the child psychologist I was seeing for insomnia issues & the child psychologist asked me about it & I was first and foremost terrified that if I admitted to the lie, this medical professional would tell my friends I made it all up

so I doubled down and insisted I could really talk to horses. I was doing major damage control. I didn’t realize you can’t just tell psychiatric professionals you have magic powers, I was 8.

so I ended up in counseling for this for an entire year until eventually I just stopped going for some reason but when I was 20 the office contacted me to tell me the psychologist was retiring & asked if I wanted a copy of my childhood records before they were filed away and eventually shredded & I said sure & went over them & discovered that she had diagnosed me with “psychotic delusions” bc I was 8 and apparently convinced her I truly thought I could talk to horses.

genuinely cannot tell if I my parents should’ve been cashing in on me as the most sought-after child actor of the era or if that psychologist was just extremely so so so bad at her job.
