It started with a crush which would probably wouldn't get me anywhere. Then came the trembling hands and shaky voice when I asked for a date. He said yes, surprisingly. A chaotic but memorable date followed by more chaos and reckless decisions. We said no feelings but we couldn't help but develop them slowly but surely.

((Well, good afternoon to you too. I’ve been blocking you for weeks but it seems you’ve kept on coming back, so I’ve decided to answer you today because I’m in a good mood.

First of all, no, I’m not Cap. Because this is a fake RP character anon account, with an actual human being with a life behind it. Captain America exists in comics and movies, just so we’re clear on that. If you can’t separate this from reality, please logout and go touch some grass.

Second of all, no argument against Sam Wilson that I’ve seen since the last episode of “Captain America and the Winter Soldier” dropped has been anything other than racist.

“But he’s not a super soldier.” - No, he’s not. But he’s completely capable of holding his own against Bucky in CA: TWS. And took on aliens TWICE with the EXO-7 Falcon as his only means of weaponry.

“But he doesn’t have the serum.” - No, because he doesn’t need it. See the argument above.

“It should have gone to Bucky.” - We all hate Endgames ending, but regardless of that you clearly saw Bucky give Sam the OK when Steve handed him the shield. In Captain America and the Winter Soldier, Bucky was clearly supportive of Sams choice in the end and understood and apologized for the way he acted about Sams previous decision.

Sam Wilson’s speech in the last episode alone should tell you why he’s more than deserving to uphold the true values of that shield.

From the moment we met Sam Wilson in CA: TWS, we’ve seen what kind of man he is. He’s deserving of the shield, of the title, because he’s a good man. Did you forget the words Erskine spoke to Steve in the first Captain America movie? “…not a perfect soldier, but a good man.”

Sam proved time and time again why he’s just as capable as Steve in holding that title. He’s a leader, he’s kind, he’s resilient, he’s smart, he believes in doing the right thing. If you want to continue finding ways to send this bullshit to my ask box, go ahead I guess. But next time just tell me you’re racist and hate Sam Wilson, and you can go. I don’t tolerate that shit here, and if that’s a problem you can eat my entire ass.))

The lack of respect for boundaries has been disgusting. The lack of acknowledgment from some of you that you were in the wrong and should apologize, is disgusting. The asks and messages my friends have gotten over the way they run their blogs/choose to RP, is disgusting.

We do not owe you a damn thing by being here. We don’t owe you the chance to play out your fantasies or your sexual requests. We are not sex objects because we share NSFW posts or engage in consenting NSFW storylines. Everything we do with each other - every interaction on dash or in DM’s, is done with consent from all parties involved. Whether it’s with a fellow character anon or not.

Consent is fucking sexy.

Saying you’re owed that type of interaction, saying we’re sex objects if we share NSFW content - that’s the equivalent to saying someone deserved it because of what they were wearing. And I won’t even clarify what I mean by that because I think you know, and as adults you should know better.

I am so angry. I’m angry people are being disrespected, being treated as less than, being sent anonymous messages from people who are too chicken shit to say this shit to our faces. And I’m angry at the disregard for others feelings. You do not get to decide whether or not you hurt someone. You do not get to dismiss that just because being in the wrong makes you uncomfortable.

We’re not here for your pleasure. We don’t owe you constant communication. We have a right to ignore requests/asks/messages whenever we see fit. We have a right to speak up if we’re uncomfortable. We have a right to stick up for each other if we see someone else is uncomfortable.

If these are things you simply cannot understand, this is not the space for you. You do not belong in this space with us, and I’m not sorry if that’s difficult to hear. This is not real life we’re portraying. We’re people with lives, families, real life struggles that we do not need to explain to you.

We don’t owe you a god damn thing.
