Fic prompting for podfics is now open

Hello lovelies <3

@reveriepi had the great idea of asking for an airtable link for all the past fic entries to LCDrarry that are available to podfic.

We now have a prompt form where you can prompt your own fic for podficcers to claim and podfic.

Please find all information under the cut!

Please note the following restrictions/requirements for prompting your fic to be podficced:

You have to be the author of this fic. You cannot prompt someone else's fic even if they have given blanket permission for their works to be podficced on AO3.

Your fic has to have been written for LCDrarry OR has to fit into the scope of this fest even if it wasn't created for the fest. This means your fic has to have been inspired by either a film, a theatre play, TV series or show, a podcast, an audioplay/audiodrama or an audiobook (other than Harry Potter - except if it is a "meta fic". One creator wrote a fic about Drarry and Wolfstar watching the Harry Potter movies for LCDrarry 2019 ;)).

Your fic needs to be complete and stand-alone. It can be part of a series, but if someone listens to or reads it without knowledge of any other part of the series, it needs to make sense.

I made a thing! I tried to put as much me in it as possible because a strong creator style was requested so if you’ve seen anything else of mine I’d be shocked if you were shocked it’s one of mine lol (seriously they are like all the same colors 😆.. I may need a new color pallet for. 2023…)

Petition to make 2023 the year all fic writers put permission statements in their AO3 profiles?

Please note this is not me asking all writers to grant blanket permission for other creators to make any and all kinds of transformative works of their fics.

What I am asking is for a simple statement that will help fellow fanwork creators know your boundaries, because honestly, asking is scary! A permission statement can look like…

“I am not open to any transformative works of my fic at this time.” Great! Clear, concise, saves us the time and effort of asking, and the angst of awaiting a reply.

Or

“I am open to any transformative works, including art, podfics, translations, and written works inspired by my fics.” Yay!! This is great news. May the fandom gods bless you with many “related works” notification emails in your inbox.

Or

“I am generally okay with podfics, translations, etc, but please send me a quick message first” Totally! We get it. Maybe you’d rather some of your works stay untouched. Maybe you’d prefer that they’re archive-locked. Maybe you just want to know who you’re dealing with, or you don’t like surprises. Valid! At least we know you’re up for a convo, and will likely respond.

Or

“I am okay with_______ but not _______ of my works.” Yes! Again, clarity! It’s a beautiful thing.
