We need to drop the notion that we have to be "nice" to be spiritual. Ignoring our shadow side doesn't achieve better spirituality, quite the opposite... explore how you react when anger comes to the surface, sit with feeling uncomfortable, investigate why you manifested that particular person into your life, what lessons are showing up again for you to have a chance to finally understand them? . People who come into our lives and trigger us are a gift to use to evolve.... doing the work is apart of our spiritual path....it doesn't mean we have to be "nice' if we have been treated badly. . ๐Ÿ™ Catalyst ๐Ÿ™ . " Someone or something that causes change to happen" . Change is scary right... ๐Ÿค” we all love the status quo, we like to know where we stand at all times, we want to know the outcome of everything before we take action. . It's all an illusion though, without change there can be no growth, without embracing that change is something good then we will be doomed to stress about things we can't control and put ourselves through unnecessary emotional roller-coasters. . This is where the catalyst comes in, if we don't evolve or change things up voluntarily the universe will provide a person or event to make the change happen. . Perhaps you have a catalyst in your life right now, a person who's presence means you are nudged to be a better version of yourself, leave a situation that is no longer taking you towards your highest potential or a situation you know has completely changed you forever. . These situations can often feel negative at the time but when we look back months later we wonder why we didn't make the shift sooner....all in divine timing. . ๐ŸŒž Summer 2020/2021 Business Hours . After consultation with many of you my amazing clients I have updated my hours to include more after hours time. Alot of you have been finding in beneficial to still be able to receive your treatments after your normal work day so my updated summer hours reflect accordingly. I am taking Wednesday and Sunday off to accommodate these longer work days but feel that the hours available will be sufficient to current demands. . Trauma can also cause physical symptoms. . Traumatic events can be isolated or repeated, ongoing events. A person can also experience trauma after witnessing something traumatic happening to someone else. . Research indicates that children areย especially vulnerableย to trauma because their brains are still developing. This is why we hold onto events from our childhood. . Children experience a heightened state of stress during terrible events, and their bodies release hormones related to stress and fear. . This type of developmental trauma can disrupt normal brain development. As a result, trauma, especially ongoing trauma, can significantly affect a childโ€™s long-term emotional development, mental health, physical health, and behavior. .
