Hello how are you?

How do you think everlark nights are for Victors's Tour. What do they talk about? How do they feel? Do they kiss?

Doing well! Been thoroughly enjoying this spring :).

I don't imagine as much talking, as comforting. Whispers of 'it's okay' or 'just a nightmare' or 'you're safe' is most of the talking they do during their time on the train at night. Though, when they do talk I imagine it's about something they miss at home, or were botherd by during the tour. But again, even that is pretty rare.

To me they both FEEL very secure and stable in these moments. They are together, with the only other person who really understands what's tormenting them and there is a safety to be felt in that, as well as a level of comfort. It's why I don't think the sleeping meds help Katniss much and can't compare to Peeta holding her. She needs to feel safe, not forced into medicated rest. So yes, safe, comforted, stable.

Okay, as for a kiss...maybe? I don't think it'd be anything particularly notable. But idk...maybe Katniss OR Peeta gets curious. One night one or both of them wants to just know, what it might be like to kiss without eyes on them and it feels fitting when they are both half asleep and so one of them initates a peck or two.

So I admit to being woefully uneducated on this topic. However, with it said upfront my opinion is based off very little information, I will give my personal awnser. And that is no, I do not personally see her as being autistic.

Again, this is coming from someone who doesn't know much of anything. Anyone with more information is perfectly valid. It just is not what I see or read from her.

Now. as for if or not there are significant differences in Book!Katniss and Movie!Katniss that I can say with more confidence that no I don't see much of a difference between book and movie Katniss! The glaring exception being book!Katniss being explicitly a PoC and movie Katniss being...not that. But as for personality and portrayal wise, no. They are pretty much identical imo!

The more I think about it the more unhinged it is that Peeta's arms were better than sleeping pills for Katniss

#And keeping in mind sleeping with someone is VERY vulnerable as it is #So like she feels MORE COMFORTABLE doing that with Peeta that actually sleep medication made specifically for sleep #like wow Collins #I swear she comes closer to being TO obvious with Everlark that not enough #Sadly that doesn't stop people who decide for whatever reason to hate Peeta as a character and thus his relationship with Katniss

-Rereading is great, do it, but reconginize the point at which you have to stop and just call it done. Perfection is impossible, don't let it stop you from doing great!

-HAVE FUN. Literally the most simple advise but so important. Write things you get excited about thinking about and I promise other readers/fans will too. This is also what helps you through boring editing, or other writing things you may not enjoy.

-TAG PROPERLY. Nothing invites irritated nasty comment like not tagging things properly.

Juat a few bits of good advice, I do hope you get to have a lot of fun learning!

The Great Katniss Eye Headcanon:

Don't know if I've discussed this but. If not, a Headcanon of mine, mostly informed my personal experience with grey eyes that decide they want to be three different colors any time they feel like.

Katniss, in normal lighting with fairly neutral clothes has grey eyes that actually lean closer to blue naturally than they do steel grey. With a mother and sister both with blue eyes it makes sense. However- Katniss tends to wear darker toned clothing; greens, dark blues and tans. This brings out the steely shade of grey that is very very grey. And most people would recognize that as just, what her eyes look like. Light clothing/bright lighting can also bring out the blue though, or the right shades of eye makeup. Not that she ever really *tries* for that.

The green comes out when she is angry, sad or specifically crying. Peeta and Mrs. Everdeen are the only ones to actually notice it directly, and for Peeta it's actually a tell if she is struggling. He knows she's having a hard time if her eyes are leaning green. And they are VIVIDLY so as she is crying/just after.

But most of the time they are a steely grey, because of the colors she tends to prefer to wear.

Ohh so. I love headcanons. Some of my favorite things to do with shipping. Gonna give two!

So, everlark. Def headcanon they are like, the most physically affectionate couple. I would not say they dabble in a ton of PDA, because Katniss is Katniss. But they for sure are always holding hands, hugging or touching somehow. It's just about constant and without it to long they *genuinely* miss it and crave it.

Johanna teases Gale relentlessly about his crush on Katniss, once Katniss and Gale work things out and any real sting over it is over.
