The reason Takaoka is such a shitty villain is because the tone of episode 13 comes out of fucking nowhere and has no place in Assassination Classroom.

Throughout the show, the kids are put through a lot; particularly in season 2. But this is built to so as not to create tonal whiplash. It’s legitimately hard to watch an episode like Takaoka’s because seeing a teacher physically abuse students is so far from the precedent AssClass set up in the twelve episodes before it that it’s legitimately baffling anyone thought this was a good idea.

I don't like it lmao. I was trying to make it Ethan Becker inspired, cuz following his advice majorly improved my art this year so I wanted to do a homage to that, of sorts.

But idk I don't really like the shading style, and that eye seems off :/

This was my last drawing of 2019. I was really happy with this at the time.

So if the last of 2020 is one I'm not happy with and it's this much better than 2019s, well, I can't be too upset.

Like Madoka is so inspiring to me because she felt like she was so useless and yet she was always strong, and took great initiative.

Madoka was gifted, inadvertently, her power as a magical girl through Homura’s time travel. But the emotional strength Madoka showed in every single timeline? That’s all her.

Seriously. Having the strength to keep going after Sayaka witched out? Being able to swiftly disable Mami when she went manic and started killing people? What Madoka went through was never easy, but she got through what could cause many other magical girls to fall into despair and, at least in the primary timeline, came out strong from it.

The fact that Julia (Sesame Street) is a realistic depiction of an Autistic person makes me incredibly happy. It’s hard to come by good representation of Autistic people (the number of times I’ve been compared to Sheldon Cooper... sigh). 

There’s still a long way to go for representation in media, but it’s a really positive sign that many children will grow up and see a realistic and educational autistic character.

I do like both versions of Ashley’s song, but I appreciate that, in the Japanese version, she at least somewhat sounds like a child. Definitely overacted and sort of a caricature of how a child might speak, but she *is* a cartoon after all!
