oh also, another note about the hairy tangle:

the rubbery, hairy texture is actually separate pieces, like a sleeve, over a regular tangle

so if you end up not liking the texture, you can easily remove it and just use the regular tangle underneath instead :)

they arrived today! 5 days after i ordered them, which is exactly on time with what i expected (and is really quick considering christmas is coming up)

i ordered the pack of 3 surprise tangles, a simpl dimpl and a hairy tangle

i love the the texture of the hairy tangle, but i do feel like i need to be more careful when handling it because it feels a bit less sturdy than a normal tangle. overall i still really like it tho

the simpl dimpl is really nice and should be useful for when i’m back at school. i seem to remember it was a decent price too

the three tangles were just as expected. i ordered a surprise pack of 3, and i got a purple metallic tangle, a yellow and green classic tangle, and a blue and orange brain tools tangle. i’m really pleased with the ones i got!

everything was decently priced in my opinion and i’ll definitely order from Tink ‘N’ Stink again when i have some more money. it has some rlly cool sensory stuff that i want to try

my family were all looking at my brothers phone and mocking this picture of a fat girl he knows

and my 4yo niece was watching them and it made me want to cry

because that’s the exact shit that makes me hate myself, even now at the age of 16. growing up around the constant mocking and jokes about fat people is a shitty, shitty thing for a child to have to go through.

i tried to pull my niece away but i think it was too late. i hope she doesn’t grow up to hate herself like i did.

this is like a vent but a happy vent? i don’t rlly know what the word is

despite the issues i have with my parents, i do consider myself very lucky in that both my parents do genuinely want to help me and will do anything they can to improve my mental health (within reason)

like after every therapy session, my mum always asks me if my therapist recommended anything she can do or buy for me to help me and i’m super grateful for that

i feel guilty asking my parents to buy me anything because we don’t have a lot of spare money, especially in the pandemic, but because christmas is coming up i might ask for some stimmy things and fidget toys as gifts

i have a lot of confusing feelings towards my parents and i don’t think i’ll ever have a close relationship with them, but it’s nice to know they do actually care
