see the x-files is great because an episode starts with "this guy was killed in his backyard. he's been drained of blood and there are two holes in his neck."

so you're like oh okay vampire episode!

and then Mulder goes "look at all these cattle mutilations across decades and countries. and look at the poison that was found in their blood."

and you're like okay. chupacabra maybe?

and Mulder goes no. Aliens. they want our blood.

and you're like weird but okay.

and then the episode goes "actually it was these genetically modified girls who were created by an older also genetically modified version of them (because they're all the same). and the older one was from a failed government experiment. and so the younger ones killed their dads and drained their blood for fun and then they killed the older lady (the one who created them). but a different older version of them is going to break them out of jail."

and you go hey the alien thing seems so normal now.

Hannibal ended 9 (nine!) years ago, what do you mean that Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy got the MAIN stage at the C2E2??? And why announce this on the anniversary of the premiere of the first episode of the series???? I'm going insane here.
