In the game Jedi Academy, when a character falls a distance, they have a short little gasp or yell. It's mostly the same for every avatar.. except if you play as Luke. Then you get this OMG-dramatic-unforgettable scream that is amazingly and laughably over the top.
i'm so glad goncharov happened when it did, right before prolific public use of AI. that was pure honest gaslighting straight from the heart. real human whimsicality and trickery thru blood sweat and tears. we were a family. and we all gonched, together. you cant replicate that with any machine.
the thing that sucks is that people love saying sleep early is good etc etc and yeah it is. I've seen some benefits before. but I think it sucks to ignore that late night is the only time with any freedom. I think it sucks to not acknowledge the dread in waking up and it's a work day again
Every night at eleven I have to choose between enjoying the sweet embrace of slumber or staying up late to do something enriching and fun that I wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to do. And every night at eleven I take the secret third option of “doing nothing on my phone until one in the morning.”
you grit your teeth and manage to send an important text. and what happens? the person actually responds. so now you have to brace yourself and do it all over again PLUS you have to bring yourself to read the response first too. it never ends.
I usually view February as having no holidays and it’s always a surprise to remember that to many many people, February is one of the most holiday-filled months, containing both Valentines Day and Football Day
